All fan clubs at this point should have their discussion threads up and running. All discussion threads should stay opened for business. Do not close them. This will give our new members that join along with the members who have not been around in a while a chance to post their opinions.
If you have a forum that is getting full of soft deletes, the Fan Club Presidents need to PM their Sponsors or PM a FC Mod for cleaning.

FanClub FanFic The month of July is just around the corner and we need a little help to kick off the celebration. It’s time to put on your Thinking Cap and gather your black rimmed Harry Potter glasses for a month of fun and writing. Being part of the Snitchseeker Fan Clubs, the Admins and Mods have come up with a bit of fun with spectacular roles for all Fan Club members to enjoy and take part in.
As you know, Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final novel from the Harry Potter series. What if you, the members, could write the final book the way you see it or the way you would like it to end? Well, the time has come to hear your side of the story as told by your favorite Fan Club character in ‘Fanclub Fanfic’.
Each Fan Club will write their own version of Deathly Hallows. This Fanfic can be of any genre such as funny, emotional, romantic, action, horror, thriller, etc, just as long as it is fun and enjoyable for every reader. For characters that are no longer within the realm of the Harry Potter series, such as a character that has died or has fallen through the veil  , the Fan Club will pretend their character is alive and well, still walking around the Wizarding World, which allows members to manipulate the story more on his or her behalf. The Actors' Fan Clubs will be writing on behalf of the character their cast member plays, even if the character passed on in another series.
If your character is one not as popular in the series and you would like them to be, place him or her in the light and share your insights on how he or she would fit in to the final book of the series. Or the Fan Club are in the ECFC or the OCFC, there are many characters and actors you have to use, so place the characters where you would like them to be and use them all.
What we need from the Fan Clubs right now is for you, as a team, to agree on a topic or storyline for your character. You may participate in more than one Fan Club, it is all up to you, just as long as you have fun. Start a thread within the characters forum or have a discussion in the thread and have everyone post their thoughts and contributions to the story, maybe to see where the novel would start and end. For those of you who have seen this little guy around the FC Chat threads, I hope that you took the time to see where the click led you too. If not, then I highly suggest to click where it says click here.
The SBFC has put together a huge fan club event for all fan clubs to enjoy, 'Who Is Your Idol?' For those of you who remember WIYM (Who Is Your Man), I hope they were wonderful memories of fun and like me, late nights on SS to fight for my lovely Sirius Black.
Remember, Who Is Your Idol whill start soon so be on the look out in the thread and make sure your fingers and brain have had enough rest for the competition! Good Luck to all fan clubs!

I have two announcements to make at the moment...
1.The time has come to make the announcement that the fan clubs that are forums, are allowed to have their chat threads once again. With this privilege comes rules...As long as the fan clubs have active discussions going, they are more than welcome to have their chats. Myself and the Fan Club Mods will keep watch over the fan clubs to make sure that they have their discussions going. One that would not be active would be if someone has not posted in two weeks or longer.
A first warning will be sent to the club Presidents and CC to the Sponsors to let them know that they need a current and active discussion going. The second will be that the chat will be closed until this matter can be solved.
We have heard your cries...so happy chatting members!!
2. Right now, until the fan clubs can be revived with activity once again, the Request thread will be closed until further notice. I feel that there is no need to add another club when the ones we have need a little push towards being active again. I will make another announcement when they are ready to be opened.

I'm here with another announcement.  The OCFC has opened up a new thread and they are in need of enthusiastic applicants that can take care of the fan club. Click here if you seek interest at helping out with the Other Cast Fan Club. This club involves all the actors of the Harry Potter series that do not have their own forum or thread. So if you have a particular actor/actress that you love to watch, then head on over to the fan club.

An update on recent changes...
Over the next few weeks the fan clubs are going to be going through some changes, which have been planned over the past few months. One of the first things happening is some clubs are going to be removed, due to inactivity and/or other reasons, such as lack of current relevance and notable fan club content aside from games and chats.
I'm sorry to let you know that the Bill Weasley, Fleur Delacour, Minerva McGonagall, David Tennant, and James & Oliver Phelps fan clubs have been cut in this attempt at improving the Florean Fortescue's section here at SnitchSeeker. This does not mean that these clubs cannot be opened again in the future, not at all. If interest is developed like before, the fan club may return.
Apologies if this comes as a shock. We hope you understand why this has happened, and hope that, when the changes occur, you will enjoy the fan clubs better than ever.
