| Hello. One more thing to say. In the British version, at the end of POA in the letter Sirius sends Harry... he includes HIS GRINGOTTS VAULT NUMBER! In the American, no number. But- the means of comunication, (if there is one) could be IN Sirius' vault! That is is Harry still keeps his letters... I don't remember the vault number, but it is next to the high security vault in PS. THIS IS TO WIERD NOT TO BE A HINT! |

| They put Sirius's vault number in the British version? Why not in the American version then? Hmm, I donn't know if that could be a clue. I mean, if it was that important, then why was it left out of the American version? How did they have it in there? Did Sirius say that if Harry needs money, or why was it put in there?
Oh, and cheer up Sirius is cool! It's not over yet!!! Not over till the Fat Lady sings! Haha, I really didn't mean it to be the Fat Lady in the books, hahaha, how ironic?
Maybe the Fat Lady does have a sort of double meaning then? Do you guys think? |

| hahahhaa! still hope!!!!
vault number?? seriously? ugh i have the american version but im still gonna check! though maybe it was edited? at first j.k didn't metion it, but now found a need to mention it ,so in new versions of the book it is mentioned?, i mention this because i think it is worth mentioning it...lol to many "mentions". wait a sec to check.... by the way i love you guys!!   every single one of you!
sniff... i don't have it in there. but wouldn't it be cool, if sirius put all the happy memories he, james and basically the mauraders in a pensieve so harry could visit? maybe that would be in the vault?? that'd be cool. AND WE'D BE ABLE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT JAMES AND LILLY!! AND J>K SAID WE"LL KNOW ABOUT THEM MORE! aaah...who knows. |

thanks ian, ur great.. | the other?
could be Neville, or maybe it was James
I've been re-reading the 1st book and i have picked up on some little things that are kinda niteresting that might be clues
I will post all of them when i finish the book
but some ones are like when Ron said "I'll get him one day" or something to that effect(or affect, i never know) about Malfoy
and i was just wondering, does anybody know if in OOTP, when Sirius dies, does Lupin say "he's gone," or "he's dead" ?
because people who go can return
great work guys, sorry i havent posted n ages but i just finished 3rd term and all of the tests in 2nd semester deturmine which classes i get into next year

| OOOOOHHH!
i found it
the letter Sirius sent Harry on the Hogwarts express at the end of 3rd year
heres the bit you were talking about: There is something I never got round to telling you during our brief meeting. It was I who sent you the firebolt-
(Hermione does her 'I told you so' thing and Ron says it wasnt jinxed) - Crookshanks took the orderto the Owl Office for me. I used your name but told then to take the gold from Gringotts vault number seven hundred and eleven- my own. Please consider this as thirteen birthday's worth of presents from yor godfather. -yaddayadddayadda, hope I didnt scare you.
so it isnt acutally next to the vault of the Philosopher's stone, its two after, 711-713
and I'm pretty sure that Harry keeps the letter coz after that he keeps reading and re-reading it and Uncle Vernon goes 'What's that?'
i think he would treasure it |

I'm not sure if it was in this forum, but someone said that after Sirius went throught the veil it was like nobody cared much that he was gone but Harry
maybe they all know something that Harry doesen't about the veil, maybe Sirius will be in that room in the Department of Mysteries... I dunno
I still think it's interesting that only Harry and Luna and Neville could hear the voices behind the veil- maybe its all to do with that room...
i feel like we're all so close- yet so far its frustrating :cow: |

| mmm yeah ur right me4ron
its like ok we know how neville n harry are connected.....with the whole prophesy thing.
but where exactly does luna come into play? n how could she hear the voices as well as them? was she a Probable as i like to call harry n neville. her parents were both loopy geniuses werent they? were they the behind the scenes order members? i wondered if they werent in the photo moody showed harry. did he see everyone in there? even if he did n the lovegoods werent there....so wat? they couldstill be in the order. behind the scenes?
luna says her mum was a brilliant witch who died experimenting........could it be in connection with the order? was ms lovegood working on some weapon for the order?
i first thought only harry n luna could hear the voices behind the veil.....but apparently nev could too.
i just cant get the whole Probable theory outta my head.
so after spectacularly confusing myself n everyone who has the great misfortune of reading this i think dat luna, harry n nev are special in a way dat jo hasnt gone into yet. everytime i think of a voldemort fighting group. im thinking harry, luna n nev at the forefront.....its just a gut thing. i dont kno if i'll ever be able to justify it |

| I guess someoen's been doing there homework! Well, you have a good point about Sirius being gone and not dead, but Lupin said it so firmly, so you have to think that he knows something about the veil that Harry doesn't, you know? Anyway, didn't they say later in the chapter and chapters afterwards that Sirius was dead? And if he did, don't you think Dumbledore or someone would have corrected him? Afterall, Dumbledore always seems to know these things and all. I'm sorry if I'm being a pessimist and all, but, that's just what I think.
Oh, and to what loony lupin was saying, I have been wondering that too. Did you notice how it seemed that she was the only person that wasn't hurt by the Death Eaters in the Ministry of Magic? I was wondering why that was. So, if you guys have any ideas, PLEASE share! |

| maybe Luna's family have helped the dark side, and they dont want to hurt her
and maybe dumbledore thought that it was better for harry to think that sirius was dead, eithier he is worse than dead or dumbledore thought that it was too much for harry to have to worry about where he went.
and i thought that they could jsut hear the voices behind the veil because they have seen people die |

| maybe Luna's birthday is on the equinox (sp?) or on a full moon, or even on the 29th of febuary
i think it would be some time weird like that- i think she is very insightful |

So, if you guys have any ideas, PLEASE share! | Percieved insanity is a great defense mechanism. If people think you're LOONY (pun intended), they tend to leave you alone or think you're no good. Which is probably why the Death Eaters left her alone, thinking she's just along for the ride, while the rest were there for a more meaningful reason.
The only other references to the Lovegoods in the series so far was in GoF during the Quidditch World Cup where they were mentioned arriving at the site by Basil (I think). |

| i don't think dumbledore would do that to harry again. u'know, not tell him something since the first and probably last time he tried it, everything blew up in his face! so dumbledore "thinks" sirius is dead or atleast can't return from wherever he was sent. however, i still think remus knows something the rest don't!
yup! the thing about luna is really fishy. maybe... *squeezes brain* maybe she has special powers we still don't know about? i mean there is an animagus, a metamorphagus, maybe there is an elemntus...that can turn into fire, water or wind or something... that'd be cool. and everytime a death eater went near her she'd cleaverly disguise herself as whatever? sorry, cheesy. but it'd be cool still. imagine if u can turn into fire? hot stuff.lol...
lunas' birthday would be in the months were there is a full moon i suppose. i really do think there is r was or going to be a connection with luna and lupin...too much of a coincidence i think.
about "the other" to fight what seems a losing battle, i think harry will kill voldie and nev would kill harry. it's such a cool twist and j.k would be rid of harry forever. and the she said we would say "thats the ende of that" when we finish reading book 7, the last and final book. the only way thats gonna happen is if she kills harry.
sorry..long post. muaaaaaaaah! to all of you! |

| i think what you said, raspberrypeeves is really smart, about luna, and it would be so cool if luna could turn into different elements, sirius is cool (BTW, i like your avatar, you had a really cool one b4 that too )
and i really wanna know what remus knew about the veil
oh, BTW, another thing i found in book #1;
in the dark forest, the centuars say mars is bright a lot
'unusually bright'
and then Firenze says that he hopes what is written in the stars about harry is wrong, and that the sstars have been read wrongly before ' even by centuars'
does anybody know what mars being bright means in reading stars? anybody at all?
oh well, i can try and find out |

| okay, i just thought of something while posint in another toppic and wanted to tell you guys instead
you know how it has to be eithier Voldemort killing Harry, or Harry killing Voldemort?
does that mean that nobody else can kill Harry?
like the death eaters cant really harm him?
and that nobody else- like not even Dumbledore can do anything to Voldemort?
so he is staying around untill Harry kills him- or for-ever |

i think it would be some time weird like that- i think she is very insightful | I'm born on the 29th and believe me, it doesn't give you special powers. Just far fewer bday presents.
My own theory is that Loona has some extra special protection. Somewhat like what Harry has. Her mother died while doing an "experiment" She may have been trying to make a protection devise against avada kedavra or something like that. And Loona SAW HER DIE! (!) So I think that whatever the experiment was, she got something out of it. THat could be what her role will be later. To help find out what went into the protection thing. Sorry, I know this sounds silly. |

| Oh yeah, about the vault number: I think the quote in the B. version goes something like: "...but I got the gold from my own Gringotts vault, nr. ..." I forget the number, and I WOULD look it up for you, except for the fact that my sister fliched my copy. >
And: Does somebody else think that there's something in Harry's oft mentioned "Extrodinary resemblance" to James? OR that he has "Exactly" lilly's eyes? This is just too wierd to not be a hint. And JK SAID IT WAS! |
