| You know what? Maybe he (Snape) is just not on either side? I mean, it's probably total craziness, but what if he knows Voldemort's a threat to him? So then he helps Dumbledore to take him down, then goes after Dumbledore? I doubt he'd be able to do very much to him, but you never know. Actually, I kinda really doubt that would ever happen.
I'm gonna look into that interview and when I find it I'll post it or something.
P.S. Yeah, I've heard about that theory too about Snape being a vampire. There's a lot of stuff to support it, but then there's quite a few things that deny it, so... Ya never know. |

:
What happened to Harry's Grandparents?
Various interesting things. But again, I'm not gonna share. -J.K. Rowling
Professor Snape isn't allowed to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts because Dumbledore thought it would bring out the worst Snape.
(yeEeEch, if we still didn't see the worst in snape...i can't imagine *shudders*)
Hermione's birthday is September 19th, and Ron's birthday is March 1st.
p.s: my b-day is 18th of sep...hehe makes me feel special.
At some point in the series, Harry might be getting a different pet. :o) (snake maybe?...to spy on draco muahahaha! can u say blackmail?)
"There is a character who does manage in desperate circumstances to do magic quite late in life, but that is very rare in the world I am writing about." - JK
We are going to be seeing Aragog and the Weasley's wild car again.
There is a connection between where Harry lived with his parents and the founding father of Gryffindor!
there is alot more..but im not wasting it if nobody is visting! >
though thx to ian! she is loyal! |

| Yeah, that's the interview . At least I think it is. And thanks for callin me loyal, it made me feel very special. I'm sorry if i don't write much more. Today was the first day of school and I feel incredibly depressed and lazy, not to mention the biggest headache possible. But I just want to ask one thing; what could the importance of Harry getting a new pet be? I wonder what kind it would be and what uses it would have in the plot. Maybe it could be a phoenix? That would be cool. |

| harry getting a new pet might mean hedwig is out...permenantly...killed maybe as somebody wanted to intercept his letter or smth... also a new pet has new powers... i hope it's a snake...cause then it would be able to spy on certain people (slytherine) and report back to harry... or phoenix, you saw how usefull they are in ootp!
hey i had an idea... remember the pensiev? ya well, what if a dying person recorded a few of their memories into it? after they die, can another person visit these? because i remembered watching a movie with a guy dying of cancer, and he wanted to be a part in his sons' life... so he made loads and loads of tapes for the son to enjoy... get my drift?
well ian you are special for taking pity on my topic....but hey atleast it's got a good amount of replies! *cough*mostly us though*cough* |

| You know, I wonder why they call the Order the Order of the Phoenix come to think of it. Maybe it's because of Fawkes, but then, what important rolw does Fawkes actually play in the Order, you know? Maybe, it's because, as we saw in the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore, Fawkes died for Dumbledore, and maybe thats the reason, because the Order protects people from Voldemort. What do you think? |

| Hey, JKR mentioned something in an interview that I was reading a couple of days ago, and she said how there is something very improtant in the books that with all the theories and forums and chats devoted to Harry Potter, no one has ever guessed it. What could this be? She did say that some people have come very close to guessing it, but they never really got the whole thing. Once again, What could this be? How much of an impact could it have on the series? |

| *gasp* i don't know...
maybe...but no! thats too far fetched and annoying... imagine if all this was a dream, just befor the showdown between harry and voldie. harry wakes up in cupbard underneath the stairs (aunt petunia screamin at him)...nope, thats out of the question.
what about...
hmmm.... *squeezes brain*... solving by elimination...nothing left
ugh! well whatever it is, when we know it...i'm sure we'd be all like "how did we miss that!!" wish she'd be more specefic...as in, what and/or who is it about...
lilly and weaslys' are NOT related, if they were harry wouldn't have to go to the dursleys' to seal his moms' protection. same goes with dumbledore....
well...i have no idea...who have people rearely mentioned in theories? harrys' family? no...well...sorry |

hmm... i was thinking some more... about the sorting hat... other than sorting... what does it do? because j.k said it has more than one purpose...
what about peeves? i think he killed the bloomin' baron, thats why the baron has a hold on him. but why won't the other ghosts let him in the sorting ceremony?? other than the fact he is a vandaliser. he seems well... what is the difference between a ghoul, a poltergeist and a ghost?
also what is the difference between a wizard and a warlock?
are there staffs in harry potter world?
why is it some kids got to hogwarts while others to durmstrang..etc, dumbledore said there is a quill that writes names...but take draco...he wanted to go to durmstrang but... u understand?...because i sure don't |

| Hmmm. Very good questions. I'll try to answer them the best I can.
Honestly, from as far as I can tell, there is no difference between a wizard and a warlock. You know how People in England have different names for stuff than people in the States, right? Right now that's what I think it is. I'm thinking that there in one of the books a Salem Institute for Warlocks is mentioned, I think. I'm probably wrong, I usually am, but that's what I think it is.
I kind of doubt there are staffs in the Harry Potter world. It sounds too much like Lord of the Rings, you know? But then, why was Lucius Malfoy carrying one? You know, I have no idea. I kind of doubt JKR wouldput staffs in the Harry Potter books if she hadn't made some reference to them yet, you know?
As to the different wizarding schools, it probably depends on the language that people speak or what region they live in, you know? I mean, look at it, Beauxbatons has all French speaking students, and as Hermione assumed in the fourth book when her, Harry and Ron were running in the forest after the World Quiddich match, she heard someoen talking in French, and she automatically assumed She was from Beauxbatons, and the girl automatically assumed that they were from Hogwarts, you know?
For the thing with the ghouls, ghosts, and poltergiests. I think what it is is ghosts were once actual people, and they retain the characteristics of who they were before they died, well, at least somewhat. Poltergeists cause a lot of mischief, and I'm pretty sure they weren't actual people once, but I may be wrong. I think ghouls are there just to be annoying and to haunt, you know? Like the ghosts that us 'Muggles' take to haunt things? Do you get what I'm saying? I hope so, because honestly, that the extent of my explanatioon skills. Probably the main reason the other ghosts won't let him into the Sorting Ceremony is simply that he would cause a lot of mischief.
I hope that helped you. |

| Aww, thanks, but I know I usually have tons of questioons, and I know how exasperating it is to never have anyone answer them.
But as for the warlock thing, then maybe it has something to do with ranks? You know how people study so much in college and get a Ph. D., and then they are calles doctors, well, maybe it is like that? You never know.
You know, that whole thing that I postd earlier is still bugging me to death. I have no idea what it could be, and I like to know these things!Honestly, it's pure craziness! |

| lol well i'm sorry but i can't be of help- i haven't the slightest idea
but whatever it is, it's probably something rather inconspicuous or something that we'll take for as insignifigant (which are a lot of things so we really cant guess. or at least i cant). then, when we least expect it- she'll have it pop out before our eyes and make us realize that it's very very important. the end. :afro: |

| You know ilovemalfoy9687, you are probably right, I can't even begin to fathom the whole thing. I mean, just think about it, there are millions of Harry Potter fans out there on the internet sharing their ideas and theories, but none of them has gotten it right. It's just craziness, really.
But I do know one thing, JKR said that racial prejudice plays a big part in the books, so if that helps anyone, then good. Oh, and this just made me think, in the fifth book, Hermione comes back to the commons all mad because she mistranslated ehwaz or eihwaz or something, one means friendship i think and the other, well, I don't remember the exact word, but I remember it being the opposite of friendship. A clue, maybe? |

| i dunno... ugh i hate myself...i just got something but then forgot what it is i found... oh ya:
about the racial thing... there are pure blood right? maybe there is the other opposite extreme.. a sort of people who aren't even full human? i mean to say is what about for example... a veela marrying a centaure whose child marries a wizard?? the offspring is dangerouse combination...
veela looks
wizard magic
centaure wisdom and third eye...?
and maybe in the book the minitsry treated them badly, especially since they are so powerfull so they went off and made their own government... but since voldie is a threat to all they unite with harry...etc?
too far fetched?
ilovemalfoy.... don't worry... we all don't have an idea |
