I think that Dudley's greatest fear is to see that his parents will like harry more than him. Or that his parents won't listen to his commands but are in control of magic..I really don't know..Or maybe he's really scared of snakes?

I have been itching to know this ever since I read OOTP... what on Earth could he have seen? I'm an optimist, generally speaking, so I'm all like, "Well, maybe he's not mean really, he's just crying for more attention and he's actually a nice guy, so he was reliving his 'bad' memories of beating people up and stuff!" but then I'm all like, "Ummm... Nahhh."

So I honestly have no idea but I hope we find out, I'm dying to know!

I think Dudley's worst fear might be when he met Hagrid and got the pig tail and probably when he met the Weasleys.

I think the Hagrid-Pig thing would be one of them, but also - although everyone see's him as tough - how do we know how he feels on the inside? We only hear about him for a c hapter or so each book, which means we know NOTHING about him - so definitely not enough to analyser an opinion.

The only worst day of Dudley's life we know about is the day Uncle Vernon decided to drive around the country to avoid Harry's letters from hogwarts.He was hit by his father because he made them late by trying to pack his tv,computer and video games and he was also left hungry that day and then in the next morning he returened home with a pig's tail well i'll say that must be the one

i asume that vernon & petunia didn't threat him well so he's remembering that memory!!! i think it's something like that!!

I think his worst memory would be the day Hagrid came to the cabin and told Harry he was a wizard. It goes back to what Parvatifan said, it would seem that Harry finally had something that Dudley never could, even if he wanted it.

Also, on the speculation of his Boggart, it would probably be Hagrid telling him that he had to go to Hogwarts, because at Hogwarts, he would get extremely bad grades, and have no power over Harry, because he wouldn't have any friends.

i think dudleys worst memory may be linked to the howler petunia got in HBP remember it said "remember my last" remember my last what. was this a promise made by dumbledore. or did he save dudley from something?

I dont think he has any which make him very very very vulnerable, I think JK Rowling is trying to say in HBP when Dumbledore says to Petunia and Vernon what you have done to harry is nothing to the appalling damage you've inflicted on the boy sitting between you, is that it is better to have bad experience rather than no experience at all.

I think is wizards cursing him. lol We all know that Dudly is csared to death of magis and wizards!

I agree with Lee i think he would be woried that he wopuld be like Harry... a wizard or living with relatives! or not having money of it he had a real sibling

i think the bad memories is when harry was even there.he is such a spoiled boy that just having harry there recks it.because he wants his parents to himself and doesn't want to share them with harry.even though he knows that they don't like harry he is most likley scared that one day they will and that he will end up all alone.with no one to pamper him and get him everything he wants. also i don't see why the dursley's hate harry so much.except for the magic part.which now that i think of it not even that would stop me from liking harry the same or even more then dudley. harry is not as spoiled and not such a brat as him. thats why he is afraid they will leave him because he knows that harry is better then him and he is afraid that his parents will someday notice that too.

I agree with the above-both times he was absolutely terrified; it's something that he can't control and no matter how many times he can get 'mummy and daddy' to mistreat Harry, the magic and the threat from the magic won't go away.

Dudley is a spoiled brat because his mom gave Dudley everything because of how Petunia grew up. She didn't get any attention becuase Lily was the favorite & the specail one. So to make up for her sad childhood she has given Dudley everything he ever wants and then some. and that is why she is mean to Harry (to get back at Lily).

I think Dudley would have seen a life without his parents and his stuff. Or he would see how it would feel if he was treated like Harry is by his parents. That would the worse for Dudley I think.
