Harry was a bit too insensitive, and Cho was too sensitive. They were both to blame, really, but I tend to be a little biased. I mostly see things through Harry's eyes rather than Cho's.

Well to me it's both there faults but more Cho's trying to persue a relationship before she was ready to move on and this is what happened because of it. Harry should not have been so insensitive about it but it was still mainly Cho's fault.

I'm not a huge fan of Cho, and though I felt incredibly sorry for the poor girl for losing her boyfriend and all, to me it felt like a type of rebound. She used Harry to try and heal herself, and that wasn't fair to him. She should have tried to not talk about Cedric, but I can understand why she would feel the need to confide in Harry about him. Still, it made Harry uncomfortable, and with the awkwardness, it was only fair for Harry to bring up Hermione. Harry was able to be understanding and try to comfort her (be a gentlemen basically) and she blows up at him about Hermione. That isn't respect. All the times Harry could have snapped at her about bringing up Cedric all the time, he didn't.

Harry was really interested in her, genuinely liked her, and he didn't need the constant reminder about what happened at the end of GOF. He was trying to heal from it himself, and bringing Cedric up constantly when Harry could do nothing to save him was not helping matters.

Which is why I'm glad they didn't work out in the end. I'll admit, the first-crush thing was cute, and it would have been cuter had Cho really, actually liked Harry, but I feel she was still too hung up over Ced to really get to know Harry and, in that retrospect, really like him.

Now, if they'd waited a while - time for Cho to heal and then get to like Harry, I could have seen them working, but it just didn't.

I thought it was funny but it must have been horrible to experience. Basically Cho only went out with Harry because she could never be with Cedric. So it was pretty harsh of her to go on that date with Harry.

I can understand that Cho was still feeling horrible about Cedric dying, but to bring it up on her first date with Harry was just unfair. Not only is he her ex boyfriend, which would make it awkward enough, but her crying about his death would just remind him of the night Voldemort came back. That was probably one of his worst experiences, and he didn't know her well enough to feel okay talking about it with her. He could have been more sensitive though. All in all I think that after everything that happened Harry and Cho dating is a bad idea for many reasons.

I just don't like her. And I agree, I think that it was quite selfish of her to want to talk about cedric. After all, he is dead and if she was still mourning over the death of hhim then why was she flirting and coming on to Harry ? It's also weird the way she almost jumped into a new relationship when he has only just died.

I just think they weren't right for each other. Harry has been through so much but Cho is still quite innocent in the world. Maybe if Cho was less sensitive, and Harry was more sensitive.

I felt sorry for Harry.
