Ok I actually got the idea from a different website (slaps self) but i thought it was pretty cool. What would you imagine the OotP teaser trailer to be like? What scenes would you put in? You can be as vague or specific as you like, or you can comment on other peoples if you want, or you can just discuss what aspects of the book should be in the movie. I know we don't know if certain scenes are in there, but have fun with it! I'll post an example...

This is my attempt at a trailer. Yours can be more detailed or more vague, it doesn't really matter. Or you can just comment on ones that you like. Here goes:

a drum hits & fade up from black
--shot of a thestral flying
fade to black
another drum and fade up
--a shot of the veil fluttering
Harry: "Hello?"
fade to black
drums get gradually faster, maybe with a little music
--brief shots of Grawp, Harry tearing up DD's office, and the Prophecy Hall
music stops suddenly and fade quickly to black
--DD voiceover: "Sit down, Harry. I'm going to tell you everything..."
Traditional HP music, happier
--->"This year..."
-- an introduction to Luna
--->"New friends are made..."
-- an introduction to Umbridge
Hermione voiceover: "The Ministry is interfering at Hogwarts."
-- shots of classes &classes being supervised by Umbridge
--->"New enemies are formed..."
-- Umbridge walks into a classroom and everyone starts fainting, vomiting, bleeding, etc
-- more shots of funniness and mischief
-- Grawp: "Hermy!" Hermione looks bewildered
-- shots of Grimauld Place
music becomes darker with some new music too
---> "Lies will be trusted..."
-- Scenes of the hearing
-- Some snide remark from Malfoy
---> "The past will be uncovered..."
-- Shots of the pensieve and the old Order
-- Snape: "Close your mind!"
---> "...and a Prophecy revealed."
-- the prophecy hall
-- the spinning room
-- Hermione being hit by the purple flame curse
Harry: "Hermione!"
-- Bellatrix: "Crucio!"
-- Ron attacked by brains
-- VERY close-up of Sirius's face turning from laughter to shock
music stops abruptly & quick fade to black
-- in the silence, Voldemort walks across the Atrium
DD: "It was foolish for you to come here tonight, Tom."
V: "We shall see.."
burst of music
-- a flash of a spell being cast
fade to black, then to "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" screen
---> "The battle begins July thirteenth."

I absolutely love your version of it Talons! XDDD I've been very careful not to come across Spoilers but you just got me so pepped up for the movie! XD, Your version to it, kind of reminds me of the COS trailer! XDDDDD It's awesome, either way

One thing that I think is vital for the trailer is a shot of 12 Grimmauld Place, and Sirius's mom's painting along with Kreacher

I would put some very brief clips from the ministry, have Trelawney reciting the prophecy over the whole thing, have a few clips from the DA, have Professor Umbridge with Harry's hand bleeding the words "I must not tell lies..."

Oh, I can't wait for the trailer!

Wowza, Talons you've got a really detailed trailer there, but I really liked it because I imagined that's what it just might be like.

I think they'll show Harry to start it off, the OoTP, Ron and Hermione looking worried at Harry, new music added in of course, Umbridge, thestrals flying, Kreacher snapping at Harry, and then Voldemort with cut scenes of the battle in the ministry. Oh just talking about it is really exciting.

This is going to be really interesting to see.

i can even imagine the voice of that guy with the uber low voice that does tons of commercials to be in this one. couldn't forget about Kreacher or Siriu's Mum.

i absolutely love that idea for a trailer. i wish the real trailer was like that!you should have a profession in directing or media lol. great idea hun.
