I'm looking forward to it, I just hope they don't rush through it!

This is probably the scene I wanted to see most. Not only to see all the characters young, but to show how they really were. The books point out that Harry always idolized his father and saw him as flawless. This was one of the reasons he hated Snape so much - he felt that Snape's hatred was without foundation. However, this scene would show that James was not only flawed, but he was really just a bully. It better explains why Snape is the way he is.

Yay that makes me want to see the movie even more!

good this is the one scene I was looking forward to(that and the death room in the ministry) so this is gonna be great WOOHOO!!!

I'm definitely grateful that they didn't cut this scene out. It would have been horrible! The people who only watch the movies need the hatred between Harry and Snape to be explained!

I really cannot wait to see this scene in the movie. They had better do it justice!

I lie who they picked for the parts i just hope fhte people who have been picked play there parts to justice.

I am so glad that they left that they left that part in. It is vital to the plot of the story and I have always had a picture of what all the maruders and lilly and of course snape looked like, i hope they do it justice. Pluse for those people who only watch the movies and dont read the books it also gives them some backgroung info(even though i totally and whole heartedly recommend to any one READ THE BOOKS so much better) but there are people like that so it will help them understand later down the road. I am rambling now so i will just say this i am glad the didnt cut that part.

Would really love this part coz i wonder how snape would react while Lupin, Paddfoot and James provoked him as a student. Will be waiting for this scene

*just saw movie* What did they do to my second favorite scene in the books? It was (no lie) about ten seconds long with an odd picture. There was no Lily and I couldn't see Peter at all. I managed to glimpse Remus near James's right (my left) shoulder But he didn't say anything except laugh. Sirius had one line, "Nice one James!" I really really hope there is a extended scene on the DVD.

yeah i was very dissapointed with this , i was looking forward to the pensive bit but it replaced it with when Harry penetrates Snapes mind. But it wasnt all bad i suppose, James was casted well.

I was really disappointed too! I expected James to basically be a Dan stunt double or something! I didn't manage to see Remus, young Peter was quite convincing though, at least it looked like the older guy, young Sirius looking NOTHING like Gary Oldman! His hair was like... really puffy and it looked like he had a really receding hairline! I just get really sensative about him cause he's my favourite character, but I'm sure others would agree!
Also I wanted to see them doing the exam and Harry following them around for a while, it was far too short :/

I am so glad the the scene was in. That was a big part of the whole story was that scene.

I would have been very upset had they not included it. It is a rather integral part of the story. Without that scene, Harry wouldn't have seen his father and Sirius acting the way they did, which directly led to him having doubts about Sirius and then, indirectly, to the duel at the Ministry.

Yeah, it was included.
