What do you think of Helena Bonham Carter playing the part of Bellatrix Lestrange?
I think she's a great actress and she has the right looks and quality to play a Death Eater, she was really great in the Fight Club and I really loved the Twelfth Night and all the animated movies she did especially Wallace and Gromitt, I just love her as an actress 
What do you think?

Actually to be totally honest she is who I pictured as Bellatrix when I read the books, she has the right eyes I think the 'heavy lidded eyes'. Have you seen her in 'Merlin'? Thats waht I pictured I think but darker

I think Helena Bonham Carter is a very talented actress and i think that she will be perfect for the role. i say she definitely looks the part and i have a very strong feeling that she will do a great job fulling in the role of bellatrix.

i loved her appearance in planet of the apes as an ape lol
that was great and she certainly has the look of bellatrix
so yea, ill have 2 see when the film comes out and see if she suceeds
her role as bellatrix over the line

I reckon she'll be great, her voice, I could listen to how she talked in corpse bride and wallace and gromit forever lol, I think its great how we have all these top actors and actresses wanting to be a part of HP, and I agree that I would like to have Tim Burton direct a Hp film.

i think that she would do the role justice like all the other charactors have done so far, i dont think that any of the actors have disappointed me in portraying the supporting actors in none of the movies as yet so i think that she would be great as the evil charactor cant mwait to see it though

I really think she'll be fantastic.
To be honest though, I picture her as Merope. In the time between when HBP came out and the 4th movie came out, I picked up a magazine (I can't remember what it was, I want to say it was Entertainment Weekly), and they had an article about both the upcoming movie and the most recent book, and who they thought should play the different parts, and they had Helena Bonham Carter pegged for Merope, so when I read the book a second time, I started picturing her as such...
she'll be amazing as Bellatrix...

You're not the first person to say that about seeing her as Merope? I want to know why though? I don't picture Helena as being a pushed over character ... then again I've only seen her in Fight Club (and we'll say no more on that here), and ... honestly I think that's it ...  I'm sure in bit parts elsewhere but none come to mind ... okay so Planet of the Apes but that would make you think she should play I don't know ... Greyback or something ...

She is like Bella...the same look. I saw her in the 10 seconds trailer..I think she will be good. Quote:
