dumbledore's duel with voldemort was amazing. tell me what you thing about the duel.

I liked the big ball thing Dumbledor put Volemort in, it was amazing! The special effects were just awesome

^ I agree. The only thing that ticked me off about the V/D duel, was when Voldy raised his arm to send the pieces of glass flying at DD and Harry. Talk about flab. It just didn't look very Voldemort like. And some dramatic music would've made for dramatic.

Totally loved the duel. I saw it in IMAX 3-d, and it was awesome!!!! The glass, and the possession of Harry, totally great in Imax 3-d.

I thought that the duel was AWESOME! My favorite part was when Voldemort sent the glass flying at Dumbledore and then Dumbledore used some black barrier thing to turn it into dust. Also, i thought that the part when Voldemort invaded Harry was great, and Dan did a really good job! Everytime I watch that part of the movie I cry when Harry has flashbacks of Hermoine and Ron. Does anyone else see the difference in the Dumbledore character played by a different actor in the first movie compared to the actor now? In the first movie, the Dumbledore seemed kind of feeble and not as "strong" i guess as the actor that is portraying Dumbledore now. I could not imagine the first Dumbledore actor doing the dueling scenes with as much energy as the one we have present now. They are both really good actors but they both also portray Dumbledore differently.

The duel between Dumbledor and Volemort was awesome. Great effects and one of my favorite parts of the movie.

I liked the duel. It showed the differences between them, and how Dumbledore would turn everything that Voldemort threw at him into something harmless--the glass into sand, the fire into a waterball, etc. So that Voldemort couldn't harm those who were behind and around Dumbledore. I thought it was an excellent display of the differences between light and dark, good and evil.

It was amazing. I'm always on the edge of my seat. My favorite part was the tug and pull of the water ball and the fire. Also, the graphics were amazing and the sound affects of the little swish and flicks makes me love it more. I think adding music would actually ruin the tension, we'd get distracted from this pivatol fight Voldie and Dumbledore have

One issue I did have with the duel is that Fawkes wasn't present to swallow the Killing Curse! That would of put the cherry on top!

Other than that, the effects were A-MAZE-ING!

It gives me goosebumps! It was so much cooler than the book described. The effects were probably very expensive to do, but it was worth it!

I think it was freakin' amazing! Honestly just that scene showed a little bit more of an action thriller side of the movie which proved to be incredible. Yay or nay?

That part was my favorite as well. Got a big chuckle from watching Riddle bounce around in it. lol

AMAZING! But there's something I was wondering about. Did Voldemort fled because he can't beat Dumbledore? Or is it because that's what he planned?

The duel was awesome, very well adapted! It was a good opportunity to be creative in showing the skill of the two wizards. Thinking about it now, the fire Voldy used could've been Fiendfyre (probably interpreting that way late ). The one part from the book that would've been cool to see is the little flick DD uses that turns out to be some huge spell, and Voldy has to conjure a shield to block it.
