INT. KITCHEN – NIGHT

Sirius, the Weasley family, Harry, Lupin and Tonks sit around the kitchen table, all eating and chatting.

LUPIN
It’s good that the Wizengamot cleared you Harry, but of course, most of them are fair. The evidence was in your favor I believe.

HARRY
Dumbledore sure helped a lot.

MOLLY
I’m sure he did.

A rattling sound comes from upstairs.


MOLLY
There’s the boggart again. I’ll take care of him in a bit.

Sirius rises from his seat.

SIRIUS
Harry, I’ve got something to show you upstairs. Would you mind coming?

HARRY
Sure. No problem.

Harry rises and heads toward the door.

INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT

Harry sits on Sirius’s bed, looking at an old photograph.

SIRIUS
I found it while cleaning earlier. It’s the original Order of the Phoenix.

HARRY
There were a lot more people.

SIRIUS
Yeah, well, some of us didn’t make it.

HARRY
Just like my mum and dad.

SIRIUS
There I am. Dumbledore’s next to me. Oh, there’s Lupin. Edgar Bones, brother of Amelia Bones. They got him and his family, poor devil. There’s Aberforth, Dumbledore’s brother. Weird chap.

HARRY
Dumbledore has a brother.

SIRIUS
Yeah, although I’m not sure if he’s still alive. Oh, thought that would interest you. Your parents.

HARRY
And Wormtail.

SIRIUS
Well, yes. He was in the Order too. I think that was taken right after he turned sides.

A sobbing sound emits from the wall. Sirius stands up and leaves the room. Harry follows him.

INT. HALL – NIGHT

Sirius and Harry are in a hall. At the end of the hall, a door is slightly open, with a light shining. Sirius pushes it open and enters.

INT. ROOM – NIGHT

Molly is sobbing over Ron’s dead body.

HARRY
What happened?

SIRIUS
Ron is downstairs Harry, don’t worry.

MOLLY
Riddikulus. Riddikulus. Riddikulus. Riddikulus.

Ron’s body disappears and is replaced by Mr. Weasley, then the twins. Then Harry.

Harry steps forward and his own body transforms into a dementor. The room goes cold.

HARRY
Riddikulus!

The dementor bursts into flames and disappears.

MOLLY
Harry, Sirius, what must you think. Not even being able to take care of a boggart.

SIRIUS
It’s alright Molly, times are hard and family is more important then ever. And Percy away from the family isn’t helping.

MOLLY
You should get to bed, Harry. The others are already getting ready. Sirius can look after me.

This is against my better judging....

This is really cool! I never thought that the next movie would be as cool as the fourth HP movie!

Eh its ok but u need to stop cutting out bits that glue the story together. and adding bits that didn't even happen, like harry finishing off the boggart. Lupin did it in the book.

I love it. Your story is very inspiring.

The beginning of the screenplay was short, but you did adapt from the book rather nicely. (If Goldenberg hadn't kept Dudley's friends and Ms. Figg in, I think he did the official screenplay similar to what you're writing.)

Keep on with the screenplay draft, it really tells the story of the book properly. (Although I wanted to see Harry rag on Ron and Hermione for not telling him for what happened during the summer, but that's a minor nit to pick.)

I'm sure yours will be much better than the origanal movie script. Keep it up, you're doing excellent work!

My mystical mind powers say that you are on a great start to your goal of being a screenwriter. Translation-- the script rocks.
