I dont think they will ever get rid of rupert, dan, and emma, all the actors are used to working with them, and they can digitally enhance them if they get to old.

No. It was already announced by the CBBC that open auditions were unlikely to happen and casting starts in the Autumn.

I'm looking forward to seeing the part when Harry sees Snape, Lily, James, Lupin, Sirius, and Wormtail when they were 15 and in Snape's memory. It's going to be really awesome to see them when they were still in Hogwarts.

Oh I'm pretty sure they're going to cast through agency's. It's just they said the likelihood is there won't be open auditions -- like the ones they had for the Patil twins, the Weasley twins and Cho Chang. In fact, I think we heard that through Danielle at Enchantment....

I'm getting more concerned on the casting part. I do hope they won't get rid of the major actors & actresses. (For me, Dan, Emma, Rupert, Tom and the teachers should stay! ) Viewers would have to adjust big time if they'd change. And the only actor who's CONFIRMED to be in OotP is Jason Isaacs! I've read it in Veritaserum.com.

He's not confirmed. He said at the Empire Awards that it's ********. Casting hasn't started, there's no casting director and there's no script either.

It's not going to be cool if Dan not play again. First, the voice will not be the same, second, the apperance going to be different, and third, the way his acting, it's going to be really different. So Dan, I hope you play for the next movie, Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, thanxxx....!!!!

How typical of us to be thinking about the OotP movie when Gof isn't even being released until November lol We are always thinking ahead!
It is going to be a tough movie to make I think. A lot of stuff will be cut,especially stuff that wasn't in the previous movies such as Mrs.figg for example.
I think that we will be pleasently surprised with a longer movie,maybe even a two-part movie like they did with the matrix(reloaded and revolutions) it would be cool, allthough I would hate if it was done too far apart from each other.I am really looking forward to no kloves!

To be honest I found a lot of OotP boring (like some mentioned...Hagrids tale) so there is actually a lot that can be cut, like a lot of the Umbridge scenes can be cut I think (not all! Just a lot shorter) just as an example.

In my opinion the following should really be included; The dementor scene,Grimmauld place,the trial,harrys detention (even just one and not all would be good enough),the DA, the date,occulemency (major sp lol) snapes memory,the pensieve,LUNA,and the entire MoM scene and dumbledores talk with Harry!(so basically...everything lol)
And I would aslo die if the actors in the movie ever changed! It was so hard to get used to the new dumbledore (still don't like it!)

I think that now we know that OoTP is being scripted and everything, which means that they are going to make it, I think that it would be logical to think that the trio and original cast will stay on for this film as well. Dan, Emma and Rupert have all grown into their characters and they have also literally grown up and still are growing up, in front of our eyes, making it hard for us to imagine anyone else to fill their shoes as Harry, Hermione and Ron. I personally think that they should all stay on to do the fifth film, but in the end it is up to what they want to do, considering that they originall only signed a 3 film contract.

I think much of the start will be cut. Robbie seems unsure of his return which makes me suspect that they're cutting Hagrid or at least his tale. The Umbridge scenes will probably stay, just being shorter. The class where they all raise their hands would look great from a cinematic point of view and I enjoyed reading that bit.

No they didn't. Minors can't sign long-winded contracts. They signed on for every film as they went along. It was the adults who signed 4 film contracts.

i'm looking forward to the new director-actually i was a little dissapointed about him, Mr. Yates-well, because i don't know any of his background and made movies. unlike the first three, which i watched their other productions first, before i decided that they're good.

about the poll, i would be dissapointed if Daniel wouldn't do it. maybe because everyone thinks he's the best actor for harry-and i'm one of them.

Juat wanna say Dan i love you and that i wish you'll stay in the series! It wont be the same without you!!! I know he wont see it but thought id say it anyway. OMG he gets more attractive as each movie goes by. I want him to keep going for that reason to!

The part im most looking forward to in Ootp is the DA's meetings. I was so happy when Nevile finally does some fantastic spells. Its like in the first movie i always cry when i watch Nevile getting 10 points at the end of the film. His face....OMG.......It's like the nicest thing ever!!!

Yea wonder who'll be directing?? I thought Alfonso would of gone on to do GoF. I hurd that he turned it down cus he was still working on PoA?!?! He did a WKD job of the movie but i just wanna see the new one!!! But its good that we can compare directing differences. You can see a defo difference in Chris' style to Alfonso's.

Actually, the official announce by WB has not been made so it's not 100% although he has said 'yes' technically.
