Preston was extremely nervous for his wand fitting. He had heard numerous times about his father's expedition to find his wand so many years ago. And even how Auntie LoLo's wand fitting had a few issues. Preston just wanted to get his wand and get out. He knew his clumsiness wasn't going to help today in Diagon Alley and he wanted it to be done and over with. He gave the shop keep a shy smile and stayed quiet until he was helped with. He toyed with his new pocket watch his dad had bought him and gave him before he left for Diagon Alley. It slipped from his hands and fell to the floor of the shop. "O-oh Mer-Merl-Merlin." He stuttered going after it under a table. He got down on his knees to pick it up and knocked his head hard against the underneath of the table. He clapped a hand over his head and slowly backed out from under the table and stood up. He rubbed his head before he checked the watch carefully for a scratch or nick. Seeing none he carefully put it back in his pocket.

Sadie walked into Ollivander's with a sort of nervousness to her. She needed a new wand after Xander had accidentally snapped hers while using it as a backscratcher. She waited in the shop for anyone to notice. Hmm... what did she have to do after this? Oh yeah get hideous school robes. She was so going to have to vamp them up. She looked to see some younger kid. Ughh this was embarrassing.

Yes, he did it. He finally did it! He got LuLu and Dino to fall asleep! There was no greater accomplishment and no greater satisfactory feeling in the world...then to complete that most horrible and time consuming task.

It also helped that he may have slipped a few drops of sleeping potion into their water dish...

Fixing up a few things in the shop, Bryce once again, did not hear the bell ring on the door, as he was too busy with his work. He did however, hear the loud thud behind him.

Glancing around, and swatting the measuring tape out of the way so it'd stop measuring his arms, the man saw a young boy getting out from underneath the table, looking as if he had hurt himself in the process. "Hey kiddo." he said with an amused smile as he walked over to the boy. "You alright, there?"

And just as he finished speaking, his ears finally picked up the sound of the bell ringing on the door. Probably needed a bigger bell. Or more of them at least. No matter! He'd get something later on.

Spotting the, not little girl walking into the shop, another smile appeared on his face as he gestured her over to where he and the young boy were standing. "C'mon in. We don't bite." Chuckling just the slightest, he placed his hands in his back pockets and rocked on his heels slightly. It was a shame Colby was out sick this week. Missing the first customers and all. "How may I help you?"

Dozer sauntered through the door of Ollivander's. There were two other people waiting to be helped so he leaned up against the wall in the back. During his time at Durmstrang's he had used a spare wand that he had always had the sinking suspicion that it had belonged to his father. Running a hand through his hair he shoved away thoughts of his family and past. Taking a calming breath he shoved his hands into his pockets and waited. He needed a new wand, one that was his and if he had to wait a while he would.

Preston looked at the man with a shy smile. "I-I-I'm so-sor-sorry s-sir." Preston told him looking at the table. "I-I-I ho-hope I-I di-didn-didn't bre-break any-any-anythi-anything." He told the shopkeeper with a smile. "I-I-I'm fi-fine." He smiled, he realized he was starting to shake a little, but he tried not to let that hinder his smile, as goofy as it might appear. He wanted his wand. Now, so he could get out without breaking anything in the shop.

Sadie turned to see probably one of the shopkeeper people address her. Again her little brother was never going to live this one down that's for sure. "Well I'm looking for a new wand sir," she told him. Yeah why wouldn't she be here? "My other one got broken." She looked to see another boy walk in. He seemed not too young. Then again she was almost 5'11'' so practically everyone seemed like a munchkin to her.

Shopping ? Yeah, it was fun, the most fun thing ever really. Shopping for wands. Ehh.... not so much.It needed to be done though considering Savannah had LOST her wand while in Paris. Ugh. It was just her luck really, the blonde did have a clumsy side to her. She wouldn't admit it though. Hehh. The blonde bit her lower lip, eyes the shelves around her. So this was the big great wand shop, eh ? It looked kind of dinky to be honest but whatever though, it was the only place she could get a wand. Besides....some of the best boutiques were TENY in size.

The girl stood in her heels with her hands on her hips, "I'm in need of a new wand."The model said, smiling at the person at the counter.

Glancing over the girl's shoulder, his eyes spotted someone else in the room who actually looked bored out of their mind. Huh. Well he could see how that could happen. This place needed some sprucing up. "Hey!" he called over to the young man, gesturing him over to the small group he had around him as well. "Come join the party! What can I do for you?"

Music. That's what they needed! They needed some music. Now, where was that old radio he spotted the other day?

"Not a problem. Don't worry about it. This thing is as sturdy as a rock." he said with another chuckle, and just to prove that fact, he slapped his hand right down onto the top of the table. However, the results were far from what he was expecting.

Crreeeaaaaaaaakk.

The table dangerously swayed and he had to hold onto it for fear it would collapse. Eesh. Old table. Clearing his throat, he smiled nervously at the young boy as he straightened the table out and stood up straight again. "So, I am guessing you are here for...your first wand?" Yes? All the signs pointed towards so...

Glancing towards the older girl for a moment, half of his attention on her since the other half was on the other three people in the room including the table, the words she spoke went through one ear...and right out the other. "Uh huh..." Wait, what did she ask?

As if on queue, what she said flew through his mind once again, making him hold up a finger to tell her to wait. "Right, give me just a second." Swatting the measuring tape out of his face again, pushing it towards the younger boy to measure him, Bryce moved to the back of the shop. A few minutes later, he came back with a wand in one hand, and the box it came in in the other. "Here we are. Try this one out." Handing the wand to the girl, he smiled before standing back and waiting.

Hearing the words 'new' and 'wand', the man turned his attention to the other young woman in the room. Hmm, so many older students this year. Unless, this one wasn't a student at all. It was hard to tell. "A new wand?" Another one of those too?

"Sure thing." Smiling, he took one look at her before nodding and moving to one of the side shelves. Should be around here somewhere...Aw! Here it was. Grabbing the box, he opened it up and took the wand out as he moved back over to the girl, handing the wand to her handle first. "Give that one a try."

Preston thought for a moment that the shop keeper was going to lecture him and tell him how he needed to be more careful. He got that quite often. But he couldn't help being clumsy. Just like he couldn't help his stutter. When the shopkeeper said he was okay and didn't give him a lecture, Preston gave him the largest smile in return, turning out to be one of the goofiest smiles Preston could ever give someone. He watched as the shopkeeper smacked the table and his smile was wiped off his face quickly and his eyes bugged out as he heard a loud creak from the table. "Ye-ye-yes I-I-I-I am s-si-sir." He told him nodding his head still looking at the table carefully, making sure he didn't go any nearer to it in case it decided to collapse. "I-I-I-I'm Pre-Pr-Prest-Preston Tu-Tur-Turn-Turner." He told the man sticking his hand out to the man with a smile back on his face once again.

His head snapped up as someone addressed him, the guy looked to be one of the shopkeepers. Dozer straightened up from his spot on the wall and walked over to the small little group. "I need a new wand. Please. I was using a borrowed one but I recently...lost it." That wasn't the whole story but the shopkeeper didn't need to know about the skeletons in his closet.

The blonde chuckled light, pushing her Chanel Sunglasses up onto her head."Yes..."the 17 year old said, still chuckling. "I lost my wand while I was in Paris."Ehh? might as well give a little bit of a background story, right ? It never hurt. Her blue eyes were still glancing around the store, curious. This place looked almost like ancient. Savannah wasn't used to this kind of oldness.

Okay, so now it was time to try out the wand. She bit her lip again, nervous. She didn't want to like break anything while trying it out but then again...nothing looked too valuable in this store any. Trying out wands kind of like freaked her out, hehh. This was rare, Miss Conrad being freaked out/scared.

Savannah flickered her wrist, eyes closed.

"MEEEEEEEEEEP !!!!"She wand flew out of her hand for a moment, Savannah frowned looking down at the wand on the floor."Well, THAT didn't work."

Oh fantastic. First firstie of the day! He remembered his first time getting a wand so well, it was almost as if it was yesterday...

Thank Merlin it wasn't yesterday though. Just about to turn to go to a shelf close to the back, he noticed the boy hold out his hand to him and introduce himself. Well wasn't he a polite young fella. "Hello Mr. Preston turner." he smiled, shaking his hand gently but with a firm grasp. "I'm Bryce McLaughlin." And yes, he may laugh at his last name. Even he himself did at times. "Give me just a moment and I'll come back with a wand for you."

Letting go of the boy's hand, he made his way to the back close to the door to the back room, keeping quiet as possible. The door may be closed, but sometimes his puppies were light sleepers. Didn't want to wake them up. A few seconds later, he came back to the front with a wand in hand and placing the box onto the rickety table. "Here we go. Give this wand a wave and tell me if you like it or not." he said, handing the wand to the boy.

New wands! Everyone needed new wands today! That was alright though. It would be even better if he found that radio. "Right. Hold out your arms like this." he said, spreading his arms eagle like so the young man would follow suit. Once he did, and once the measuring tape took it's measurements, Bryce took a box from a nearby shelf before moving back to the group.

He didn't really need the measuring tape for this one, he just found it funny that people would stand there and endure the pesky thing. Hehehehe. "Try this one out." he said, not being able to hold in the chuckle. He did however cover it up as he held the wand out for the boy.

Jumping a mile as he heard a shriek like noise, Bryce hastily turned around to see what the problem was. Was she hurt!? Please don't be hurt! He didn't want to deal with that today!

Taking in the situation with a frenzied expression, he calmed down in a split moment when he saw the wand on the ground and the young woman was alright. Oh, good. It just, wasn't a good match. Picking up the wand, and shaking his head at his own actions, Bryce stood up and placed the wand back into the box before picking up it. "Alright then. I have another one in mind for you..."

Placing the box back where it belonged on his way to pick up the other one, he came back moments later with a completely different looking wand in hand. "Here we are. Try this one instead." Hopefully there will be a bit more luck with this one.

Preston smiled more at the man when he called him MR. Preston Turner. He clapsed his slighlty sweaty hand with the man's and shook it. "Ni-nice to-to me-meet yo-you m-mi-mis-ter-ter-mister Br-Bryce." Preston said pulling his hand back. He new not to even attempt saying Mr. Bryce's lastname he knew it'd take to long for him to say it with his stutter, and he didn't want to make himself a larger fool than he already appeared to be. He nodded his head as Mr. Bryce ducked back to the back room.

While waiting Preston looked at the other kids, the ones who seemed a lot older than he was. It made Preston even more nervous to know that they were watching his every single clumsy move and listening to every stuttering word he spoke. His eyes bugged out again at the thought as he turned back to at the creaky table.

He jumped slightly when Mr. Bryce came back with a wand. Preston flinched as he sat the box on the table, he was afraid that the light box would make the table topple over and he'd have to pay for the repairs on it. Preston looked up at Mr. Bryce with concerned eyes. He hope the first wand was the right one for him. Preston took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he took the wand from Mr. Bryce. "J-ju-just gi-give i-i-it a-a-a wa-wave?" he asked.

Taking another breath Preston gave it a wave, the wand jerked his body making him spin around once in a circle. Straight into the table making it sway dangerously. Preston shoved the wand back into Mr. Bryce's hands, careful not to break it, but he wanted it out of his reach. "Th-th-that's not th-the one-one." Preston told him shaking his head with saddened eyes. He refused to look at the wand or the table,or even Mr. Bryce for that matter.

SAvannah snorted, obviously it wasn't the right one. It wouldn't have like FLOWN OUT OF HER HAND OTHER WISE. Ugh..she just wanted to get this over with and do some muggle clothes shopping, now THAT was fun. She needed new shoes, even if she had like 54534232 pairs. But now, she needed to worry about her wand.

She took the wand from him, looking at him for a moment. "Is there like any way..."Eh, hopefully she didn't sound like stupid right now."I could like bedazzle a wand with like glitter ?" This guy was probably going to think she was crazy which...Savannah Conrad kind of was. She liked glitter and pink and wanted everything but her boyfriend to be pink and sparkly.

She was going to wait for an answer before she tried this one out...

Nodding, Bryce shoved his hands in his front pockets, bouncing slightly on his feet as he waited for the boy to try out the wand. He always loved to see their first expressions and all. "Yea, just any ol' wave will do." He would have gave the boy a demonstration, though it seemed he was doing fine on his own.

However, the wand in his hand didn't seem to approve of his actions. Watching with wide eyes as the boy seemed to have been spun around by an invisible force, Bryce's feet felt as if they were glued to the floor when he witnessed the crash into the table. He wanted to reach out and help the boy, but he couldn't move! That is, until the table teetered dangerously to the point of looking to be it's breaking point.

Lunging forward, he was about to grab the table to straighten it back up when the boy shoved the wand into his hands. Not having a firm grip on it, he struggled to catch it as it fell from his hands, losing his attention onto the table and failing to keep it up right.

SNAP!

Meeeeh. Perhaps it was time for that table to go anyways. "Not to wooorrryyy!" he said, finally getting a good hold on the wand and placing it back into the box...that he had to pick up from the floor. Broken table, never a problem. "Easily fixable. On another note, i think we should find you another wand, eh?" Chuckling and rubbing the back of his neck, Bryce went to go find another wand for the young boy and he was positive this one would be the one! "Okay, try this one instead."

Bedazzle a wand with...glitter?

Bryce himself wouldn't have really recommend doing that, and not because he was a guy, but...well, if the girl really wanted to glitter up the wand a bit. It wasn't an all that uncommon thing to do really. He'd seen others fancy up their wands in some strange, strange ways. "I do know of a, safe way, to 'bedazzle the wand' with glitter. It's a certain polish. Kinda new out an all. I spotted it in window at the umm...Wandinstons shop." Weird name for a shop.

Then again though, it was situated in a weird place. "It's the same polish you use to clean your wand and make it all shiny and such, but it has a bit of sparkle stuff in it. I guess for people like...you." Right? Right. Now, was she going to try the wand? So far so good.

ooc: Just a heads up, Wandinstons isn't a real shop you can RP in.

And then. The creaky table was not creaky anymore. But a pile. On the floor. And Preston was standing there, bug eyed looking at the table now. He looked up to Mr. Bryce and bit his lip hard. "I-I-I-I-I-I...." He trailed looking back to the table. "S-s-s-so-sorr-sorry." He stuttered out in a mumble looking at the floor. He was gonna have to pay for that. He was ready to pay for the broken table and just leave, wand or not. And just go home and never ever go to Hogwarts. But he knew his dad would drag him back the next day to get that wand of his.

It took all Preston had of energy and self confidence that was left to nod his head to Mr. Bryce's question of another wand. He hoped number two was the one for him. He didn't want to damage anything else. Preston bit his lip. "Wh-wh-what if-if I-I-I n-n-ne-nev-never f-f-f-f-find a-a w-w-wa-wand?" He asked sticking his hands in his pocket and looking at the wand scared to give it a go for fear of wrecking the shop down. And his stutter was starting to get thicker. Preston could feel his cheeks get really red. He wanted to turn and run away, but he couldn't move his feet.

"F-f-f-fine." He sighed out reaching for the wand. He gave it a tiny wave with his eyes closed. He stood there for a moment with his eyes squinched shut and his hand holding onto the wand with all his might. He wasn't spinning, he didn't here a crash. So he was okay right?

Well, no, unknown to Preston there was now blue in his hair. He opened his eyes and looked at Mr. Bryce. "I-i-is th-this a-a g-g-good si-sign?" He asked handing the wand back, looking at it. "I-i-it di-did-didn't do any-any-anything." He told the shop keeper thoroughly confused.

Hayley walked inside Ollivander's shop with a smile upon her face. Finally she could get a new wand, her other one was just old and Midnight, her dog, had bit part of it off. Ehh, so she definitley needed a new one. She walked over to the counter and waved at the person behind it. "Hello there!" She said happily. "I'm in need of a new wand and some lessons on teaching my dog not to bite things, but I already know you can't sell that here." She giggled. Hmm...now that she was here she thought that she might as well have brought Jason with.....oh well. Too bad, so sad.

Lucy walked into the shop with a smile on her face as she knew she would get a brand new wand for her here and would not have to use that old broken wand that was her favorite before her uncle sat on it. She looked around as to see who all were present in the shop. She moved forward towards the counter and said "Hi! I’m Lucy Smith, would like to have a wand for myself" she said politely and smiled.

A new wand was necessary. Unfortunately his old wand had decided to roll under his bed, wedge itself in a crack in the floorboards, and when Jimmy tried to wrench it out? Well, it had ripped up most of the floor and snapped the wand.

Well it was time for a new start, so a new wand would be kind of awesome. James found a spare patch of wall and leaned against it, waiting.

Bryce didn't know what to be more amused and laugh about. The expression the young boy was making, or what happened to his hair! Whichever it was though....he laaauuugghhheeed full heartily.

Taking out his own wand, he flicked it up to his own head of hair, making it turn a nice shade of purple as he took the wand out of the boy's hand. "Not bad at all, but now i think we both look more dashing, you agree?" Pointing to his head of hair, and then to a small mirror situation on the wall not so far away from them, the man smiled and flicked his wand towards the table. Broken table was no more!

Slapping his hand onto the top of once more to test the sturdiness of it, it teetered and creaked just like before, but he was convinced that it would not fall this time! "One more try I should say. Do not worry about it. Every witch and wizard finds there wand. We'll look through every wand here if necessary!" Pray to Merlin that THAT doesn't happen though, Bryce kept the other wand out close by in case he wanted the boy to try it again as he moved to an aisle in the middle of the shop.

Perhaps he was overthinking this one. The other two had been quite elaborate. Perhaps, this combination was just right in front of his eyes! Like this one here! Taking the rather older looking box from the shelf, the man moved back to the group, taking the wand out and holding the wand handle first out for the boy to take. "Try this one. Third time's the charm, right?"

Hearing the words 'new wand' and 'dog', Bryce chuckled as he turned around to see who was speaking. He knew all about those dog problems. "Well for one, you can start leaving your wand in higher places your dog can't get to. Or in a drawer when you aren't using it." Just like keeping that cookie jar out of a child's reach. Hehehe.

"But...I think I may have just the wand for you." With a small bounce in his step, and a happy tune playing in his mind, the man climbed the ladder to the side of the shop to reach one of the higher boxes of wands on the shelves. This ladder was Awesome! But, no time to be playing on it. Sliding back down, he walked back to the front and held the wand out for the girl to take. "Here we are. Give this one a wave."

Picking up the sound of the door bell ringing, indicating another customer, Bryce looked up to see someone else entering the shop and walking up towards the counter. Smiling, Bryce waved at her slightly from the side of the shop, gesturing her over to the growing group. "Hello Ms. Lucy Smith. C'mon and join us over here." Pushing the hovering and spazzy measuring tape towards the young girl, Bryce felt the chuckle grow in his chest when he sat it trying to measure the girl's foot.

Eep! Hide the laugh. Moving quickly to a shelf in the back of the shop, he let out the laugh while grabbing the box he had in mind. Thank Merlin he had the sense to check almost all of these boxes before the crowd of people came in. "Alrighty then." he muttered, gently taking the wand out of the box and placing the box onto the rickety table before holding the nicely designed wand out to the girl. "Try this one out."

Straightening up so he could see everyone and what they were doing, whether they were changing their hair different colors or freaking him out with loud shrieks, Bryce noticed someone else in the shop who seemed to have snuck in without his detection. Wasn't hard though he supposed. He was pretty distracted. "Hello! Come on over with the rest of us if you would like. How may I help you?"

Hmmm, his advice was pretty good. Midnight loved to jump on things, especially her and lick her face off. YUCK. She was just not that responsible that day when Midnight chewed her wand. Gah, why'd that dog have to bite things? "I'll keep that in mind." Hayley said with a smile. She never really thought about putting it into a drawer before so hopefully this time it will work.

Ooooh he already knew what wand would be good for her? Yay! She noticed the store getting crowded and she moved closer to the wall that way she wouldn't be pushed or shoved by the incoming people. She hoped that her wand would work the first time around because she wanted to get out of here as soon as possible or her claustrophobia would kick in.

She watched as the storepersonman got a wand and slid down the ladder. LUCKY! Aww she wanted to do that now. She was really into adventurous things and yet she could be very girly.

She grabbed the wand from the storepersonman and was a bit nervous but decided that she might try with something simple, like levitating one of the old chairs in the corner. She flicked the wand towards the chair, it started to levitate and then she lifted the wand higher into the air and the chair did the same. "Woah, it seems like it's perfect." She said taking her eyes off the chair and back to the storepersonman, then she heard a crash and saw the old chair on the ground, luckily not broken. "Oops, sorry." She said with an apologetic look upon her face.

Jimmy let the silence grow for a bit before pushing himself off the wall and looking up at the guy. Seriously.

It was a wand shop.

why the heck else would anyone be here if they didn't want a wand?

"I need a new wand, sir." Jimmy explained, keeping his tone polite, though his grin was cocky.

Savannah listened as the man spoke, looking down at her boring old wand, well...actually it wasn't her wand yet cause like she didn't even test it out but you know, all the wands would kind of look the sameish in this store."So, is it like super sparkly ? Cause I want my wand to be like BAM!It's sparkly and I want people like a few feet away to see the sparkles."So they would see the wand and be like, DANG! That wand is sparkly. She looked back at the man for a moment, "Also is there any way it can like be PINK and Sparkly ?"Cause like pink and Sparkly defined Savannah's life.

She looked at him for a moment and figured she should like probably stop asking questions and do what she was supposed to do.Try out the boring old wand."Erm..."She said while flickering her wrist, eyes shut.

There was no loud sound and nothing was broken....? Er ? This might be the one then ?

What did Josh really need from Diagon Alley? The one thing that would make him a grown up boy for real? Eh? Eh? A WAND, of course! Once he had a wand, Orlando couldn't call him a kid anymore. NUH HUH! Even if he had struggled a bit - just a bit, mind you - with the door (it was really heavy!) Joshua totally was a grown up.

And soon he would have the wand to prove it!!

Popping another rather large piece of chocolate into his mouth, he bounced on the balls of his feet as he waited for the shopkeeper to go through the other people and GET TO HIM BECAUSE HE WANTED HIS WAND!! He was sort of dancing around as he waited when a FLOATING measuring tape began .. well measuring him. It was all very nice for a moment, but then ... hey, that hurt!

"Hey Mister!!" He called for the shopkeeper, flailing his arms around to keep the measuring tape from poking him. "Im being attacked!!"
