I think PoA needs the most work. I liked GoF even if i did leave out things.

I would say OoTP. I did not like it at all. It is the longest book yet the shortest movie. Yates actually said "Sometimes they overstay their welcome just by that little, tiny percent." Personally, I dont think any of the previous films have been too long by any means. I think the movies have been long enough to do the book justice, unlike OoTP. If millions of people can sit through 3 hour LOTR movies, I think they can sit through the same for a book that is almost twice as long. The film relied too heavily on newspaper sequences to tell the story. Other characters did not develop as much as they did in the books. It was just a huge disappointment. Maybe he can redeem himself with Half-Blood Prince.

OotP moved way too fast and there was no character development at all. In Sirius's last year of life, he needs to be in it for more than five minutes. The montages were horrible and the whole thing was just like, "...What?"

I agree. Alfonso is a great director, but he needed to focus on more that just Sirius. Plus they didn't really focus on Hermione and the Time-Turner too much.

I agree with the folks that said OotP. The first time I saw it, I thought it was great and it is still my favorite of all the films. I just watched it again last night. It was my first viewing since I had read the book and I couldn't believe how much was left out.

OotP would benefit greatly from an extra 30 minutes or so. Who cares if it ends up being 3 hours long.

All the characters need to be beefed up more -- especially Sirius. But my biggest complaint was how they handled the scenes portraying Harry's Occulemency lessons with Snape. The stuff going on there is too important to be rushed over like that.

Toothpick Disappearer * Likes her 'figgies' * Mmm... Bagels!

Ootp all the way. It is my favorite book. I felt as though they didn't do it justice whatsoever. It isn't as though they would ever re-do them. But if the moon turned blue, I'd have to say the order. I just thought that they never did Sirius's death justice whatsoever. It seemed to be that Cedric's in the previous movie was alot more played up than his. The scene when the Mauraders were in school- that was way to quick and just not satisfying. It was the part I was looking forward to the most.

In order of defending PoA and Alfonso Cuaron... He's a great director, and the fact is he focuses a lot on the "human" side of things... he wanted to portrayed the adolescent part of the movie, Harry, Hermione and Ron's new found emotions... in Harry was the idea of not having anyone, no family and to top it the fact that the so called friends of his parents betrayed them, I personally loved that movie because it gives a sense of reality to the series... I think GoF and OotP needed a lot more of Sirius in it so that the fact of loosing him would be more intense... the ministry scenes are great, but since there wasn't a lot of bonding between Harry and Sirius, well there's emotions missing in there.

i'm not sating this bcoz the movie is worst but if there's something i'd want to re-do its COS, it just needs improvement...
GOF i think and OOTP should be made in two parts like what they're going to do with DHallows, they moved way too fast

PoA might need work, I'll admit, but it was still a pretty good movie.
At least, in comparison to OotP. I HATED that film. They cut so much from it. When I walked out of the theater, I was saddened, but not surprised, to hear people asking each other...'wait, what happened?' only to be answered with 'you'll have to read the book'.
PoA may have some issues, but it flows well and even though its different in some ways than the book, at least it doesn't seemed rushed and half done.
No offense to the actors of course, but I truly loathe some of the changes made in OotP. I mean - Cho? No SNEAK, no charmed galleons? I can live with no S.P.E.W. of course, but what about that conversation in the playground? It starts off in broad daylight! With Harry and Dudley completely alone, just facing off! And I don't think even Dudley is the type to insult someone's mom at random...I much preferred the book version of the 'night' taunts.
I And why did we never see St. Mungo's? And the battle scene was messed up. No brains, no crashing into the time turners, no statues coming to life to protect Harry, no Harry promising to put money in the fountain if he wasn't expelled, no decorating Grimmauld place for christmas (or very little, I suppose I might not remember), no doxies or even much cleaning or interaction with Kreacher.
I could go on, but its probably best if I stop now. :]

I THink that COS should be redone. nothing really intresting happened in it besides that whole chamber thing and no on knew that the diary was a horcrux so it wasnt exciting or anything and it got really boring towards the end.

OotP. It was a good movie, I guess, but they left out so much. And added a lot, too.

The OOTP should be re done to be longer...I loved it but it was rushed. The book was the longest and the movie was the shortest...

I also didn't like the ending of POA although it's my favorite so far...

I think that COS got preety boring...they should redo parts of that *but not the polyjuice potion* and POA needs a little bit of reworking!

OOTP, for sure! David Yates really got me angry. It was WAYYYYYYY too rushed! Not saying it wasn't good, but put it this way.... It was like Twilight: it was good, but not as amazing because of the rushed feeling and the cutting out of scenes

DO NOT REDO GOTF: The best!!!!!!!!!

i think OoTP because i hate how they made Cho guilty. I was looking forward to seeing her jealosy between harry and hermione, and that was the reason why they broke up. not because she sold dumbledores army out. that really bothered me. and they cut out alot of stuff, and i agree, it was the longest book, so that would've been a good hint to make the movie longer.
