When Harry and Ginny kissed in the room of requirement and Ginny said "You can keep that in secret in here too"(something like that)

I felt that when Harry and Cho kissed was super cheesy.
Same with the part when that waiter chick was hitting on Harry in the beg of the movie HBP.
Another cheesy part was well practically everytime Lavander was all over Ron. Super cheesy. Like when she jumped all over him on his back and stuff.

Pretty much anything with Cho in it was cheesy, especially her kiss with Harry.

Another cheesy one would be when Seamus and Harry were walking into the common room and talking abuot how the fat lady can't sing. They said it at the same time and it just didn't sound like a real conversation between them. It sounded way too planned out, like the couldn't get that scene perfect.

The end of COS, no question. Especially since no one mentions Hagrid being gone after he's taken away or really seems to notice but then the whole school freaks out when he comes back.


I die inside whenever I hear Hermione's "Off to bed, both of you!" at the end of the Yule Ball. So random.

I love it when Hermione gets freaked out after the Yule Ball! She does it because she's angry and she's Hermione and bossy is how she expresses her emotions. It made me laugh!

I agree, it wasn't right, not how I imagined. She was too ummm tense, not relaxed, not relaxed as in lazy. I mean, not putting enough effort in.

I think it's really cheesy when Harry and Ginny run into each other on the steps in HBP. Ginny says "shoelace" and then leans down to tie it.

It makes me laugh every time I see it.

I think BY FAR the worst most cheesiest scene in any Harry potter movie (and there are ALOT, i agree with everybodies posts in all 19 pages of this thread) is the scene in GOF where the foreign wizards come in and do some stupid little choreographed dance with sighing and stamping of sticks...I cringed, died inside, and shook my head in utter disbelief..SO cheesy...i as embarassed to be a HP fan at that moment..I'll stick to the books lol

The beginning of GoF when Ron was startled after Hermione pulled down his blanket. I mean, he was wearing a shirt for god's sake -__- And when Harry cried after eavesdropping at The Three Broomsticks.

The part in DH part 1 where Harry and hermione start dancing. It's not in the book and the audience knew that nothing was going to happen between them so it was pointless to put in that scene as David Yates wanted the audience to think something was gunna happen between them when they knew nothing would. And IMO, they should have cut that scene because it's not in the book; and they should have replaced it with a better and more major scene that was in the book but was cut from the film. Like Lupin asking to help the trio in grimauld place. Or Ron actually crying in the basement of malfoy manor like he was supposed to.

In the first movie... When they're playing wizard chess and Ron has to sacrifice himself in order for them to win. It's just so dramatic and quite funny as they're all so young and cute which doesn't help with the seriousness of the scene!

In the second movie... the ending!

Third movie... Dan's fake crying (SO cringy!) and I also don't know why everyone is saying the H/R moments are cheesy as I think they're really cute! And I also LOVE when Malfoy is attacked by Buckbeak! Hilarious pahahahaha makes me laugh every time! "You're going to regret this, you and your bloody chicken!!! Uh!" LOL!

The only other cheesy scene I can think of is in the last movie, when Harry makes himself known to all of Hogwarts and the order comes in through the door... Omg, cringy worthy there!

In HBP, where Harry and Ginny kiss... They got her personality all wrong in the films, so all the Ginny/Harry romance scenes are cheesy. It's really quite painful to watch.
And Harry's 'crying', that's pretty bad 'HE WAS THEIR FRIEND'

All those bits in PoA where Harry and Lupin go on walks together and I'm like HONESTLY! Do you guys go out walking with your teachers? Especially at that time he didn't even know that Lupin knew his dad!

one scene that really sticks out to me is when ron and/or harry make some rubbish joke about dumbledore's age and emma watson/hermione execute the laughter in a really bad way. it was a mediocre joke, which hermione reacts to by laughing so hard she can't breathe. it was so forced, so laboured and such a badly judged piece of acting.

The end of Chamber of Secrets with Hagrid. Its so cheesy and....not true to the books at all that I can't ever watch it. It makes me too mad and I want to slap Christopher Columbus, and I generally like what he did with the first two movies, but that scene is just too...Disney for me.

Almost all of the 4th movie was too much for me to handle. The Harry/Hermione scene in the tent before the 1st Task makes me want to puke. As does Hermione screeching at Harry and Ron. "Off to bed, both of you!" I know Hermione's bossy, but not like that.

Any Harry/Ginny scene. In the books, I loved them, but in the movies, I couldn't handle it. EXCEPT for the deleted scene in 7.2 (SPOILER?) where the students are marching down the stairs and Harry slips in next to Ginny and grabs her hand. ADORBZ. (/SPOILER)

After I saw OoTP, I swore off all the HP movies.

Do people seriously go on walks with their professors?! Why would Harry? Even before he found out that Lupin and his dad were friends. Honestly, I'd rather be eaten by a dragon than go on a walk with any one of my teachers. They terrify me.

I was so embarrassed to be called a HP fan. I'll just stick to the books that I've read from cover to cover at least 8 times.
