Eek. He's scary. Creepy. All pale, with red glowing eyes. >.< Just how I thought him to be.

The worst thing about Voldy for me was my fear that they would do him all CGI and just have a voice over!
I was so glad they used Ralph! It took them 3 months to remove his nose using CGI. The lack of Voldy's red eyes in the movie was sad but i only noticed that after i saw the whole movie.
His acting is so good i did not notices until after the graveyard scene.
I loved the way his robe moved around him and I love the way he underplayed him and made him calm.
It was crepy like you could have voldy over for tea yet it wass chilling and wrong. He was perfect!

Voldemort wasn't exactly like I pictured him being, but it worked. I thought the way they made Voldemort look was done really well, and it fit his character.

in my opinion, ralph fiennes did a superb job being voldemort. his acting was very convincing, and he was really scary. The robes forming around his body was really cool, and his "resurrection" was full of suspense. I didn't notice the absence of his red eyes at all, because his eyes, all by itself, were full of evil and malice, just the right emotion for voldie...he was brillant!! two thumbs up for our pal voldie!!!

I liked the "baby" Voldemort, but once he got big..... I was so disappointed it was crazy. He looked too human to me, and he talked in a human voice. His eyes weren't even red for cripes sake. I looked like they shaved Ralph Fiennes bald and put a fake nose on him. I was so disappointed it's not even funny.

I loved Fiennes's portrayal of Voldemort. I didn't really care about his eyes not being red, he looked snakelike and menacing without them. I was mostly dissapointed that during the Priori Incantatem scene there was no Phoenix song giving Harry courage. I really wanted to hear it.

Ultimate Potterite Original original

I think the Voldemort in the movie/trailer wasn't so different from my vision of Voldemort. Perhaps, if they had gotten the red eyes right, I would be even more satisfied...but we can't have everything in life, can we? Well, I like thinking of Voldemort as an evil and wicked looking not-really-human-wizard. So, yes, I think Newell did a great job and so did Ralph Fiennes!

I think they did a great Voldemort; he looked exactly as I pictured him. Except for the eyes, of course. And Ralph Fiennes did a great job capturing the the psycho part of Voldemort. It was great, the only thing that bothered me was I thought he spoke too quickly.

Finally, I have seen the movie only yesterday. Voldemort was very good. but not as what Rowling wanted him to be in the story. I was totaly annoyed that he hasn't got his red eyes. I posted at the previous page of that thread a pic which is totaly like him except that they didn't put the snake's nose. The secne was too short. But I liked it.

I think it was a brilliant "coming to life" for Voldie..He looked evil and was portrayed by a wonderful and convincing actor.
