Followed by a passionate kiss, to make up for the mess they made of their romance and, especially, the kiss in HBP.

In the epilogue when Harry is telling Albus Severus about being sorted.

Harry: "Albus Severus, you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew."


I just loved that part of the book. Really shows how Harry forgave Snape and how he wasnt as prejudice towards Slytherin house as before. Hopefully litte Albus did end up in Slytherin.

Definitely have to agree about that line which Molly delivers to Bellatrix. That's the one that has stood out in my mind for all this time.

I agree with this absolutely. The Snape plot line was always my favorite through all of the books, and the end to this is no exception.

Haha, definitely a great line. It made me laugh out loud. (As if my parents didn't think I was crazy enough all ready; I cried most of the time while reading it.)

Remembered another funny thing in the book that I hope makes to the screen and that is how Ginny / Hermione keep referring to Fluer as "phlegm" before the wedding.

I want them to put the line Where Molly Says To Bellatrix...
"NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B-....!!!!"

Molly's line: instant classic! Hope they keep that in, otherwise the whole movie can be scrapped!

Also - the scene in the epilogue, where James comes and goes, "He's SNOGGING her!", like, five times. And the part where Albus's middle name is revealed. I cried when I read that, it was so moving!

Another thing is all the little lines by Fred and George-"wow, we're identical!", "Hole-y", and, at the wedding, "Permettez nous to assistez vous " That was cute. Also, when Lupin bursts into Shell Cottage, and goes to Harry, "You'll be godfather?" That was a really sweet scene, it shows how Remus appreciates that Harry made him go back to Tonks. Speaking of Shell Cottage, I found it funny when, in the kitchen at the Dursleys', after transforming into Harry, Fleur goes, "Bah, don't look at me Bill! I'm 'ideous!" How must Harry feel?

The whole novel was full of great little quotes and interesting details, and is one of my favorites in the series.

It's very hard to find an only line but, if I have to choose, I'd probably opt for --

"The time has come for Slytherin House to decide upon its loyalties." Minerva McGonagall to Horace Slughorn.

I liked afterwards when she says "Horace, we duel to kill". I got chills

I agree, I always liked that. It shows Ginny's sense of humour. I think the whole Bill/Fleur plotline's been cut though.

I agree with all of them. I hope the line Harry says to Hermione and Ron when they kiss is in the film "Oi there's a war going on here" it prob wont but i liked it. Also Fred and Georges lines in the seven Potters the were very funny

I totally agree with you! That scene made me cry when I first read it and if I reread it I positively howl! One of my ultimate favourite scenes in the entire series, particularly love how Remus is described is being 'dazed by his own happiness' or something and how he and Harry hug and make up

And I really can't wait to see Bellatrix go down! I'm going to cheer in the cinema when that happens

(If they cut Remus' 'Don't you understand what I've done to my wife and unborn child?' speech I might just have to kill someone)

Those are all great lines and I hope they are in the movies. But I have to say I really hope they do the scene where Harry, Hermoine and Ron are listening to Potterwatch and Fred's bit about Voldemort being able to kill with a single glance from his eyes and he goes on to say

"That's a Basilisk, listeners. One simple test: check whether the thing that's glaring at you has got legs. If it has, it's safe to look into its eyes, although if it really is You-Know-Who, that's still likely to be the last thing you ever do."

That bit made me laugh so much when I read it for the first time, it still makes me laugh whenever I read it. Also the bit about moving faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo. That was a great line too. I will be really disappointed if that scene isn't included.

Teddy Lupin with that snogging line should so make it in!
And when Fred says something about Voldemort moving faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo.
