Ollivander’s Wand Shop Rules and Guidelines
1. All Snitchseeker
rules apply in Ollivander's Wand Shop. As such, please make sure you are aware of the rules as breaking them can result in post deletions and/or warnings. Profanity (even if it's in the movies), spam, and a lack of respect for others' opinions are not tolerated, and offenders will be warned.
2. Please start any threads in their respective Ollivander’s Wand Shop subforums. It does not make any sense for a thread about something that occurred in the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone movie to be in the Deathly Hallows subforum. If your thread does not fit in any of the subforums provided, then it belongs in the general Ollivander’s Wand Shop forum.
3. Before you create a new thread, make sure that the topic does not already exist. Duplicate threads will not be approved. Also, use a title for your thread that clearly states the purpose of the thread. Do not use titles like “idk wut dey wer thinkin” and do not put half a sentence in the title and finish it in the post. Please use proper spelling and grammar so everyone can understand you.
4. If you ever come across a post or a thread that you find offensive, please do NOT take it into your own hands. We understand that members of this site want to help out, but ten different postings of “This is in the wrong place!” or “This is inappropriate!” make the problem worse. Instead, contact an Ollivander’s moderator and they will take care of the situation.
5. Remember that the Ollivander’s Wand Shop forums are for discussing the Harry Potter movies. If you want to talk about the books or other Harry Potter-related things, check out
Flourish and Blotts and
Magical Menagerie. In addition, all actor fan clubs can be found in
Florean Fortescue’s.
