Not only have the Harry Potter novels changed our lives, they've also completely changed the lives of some of the actors cast to star in the film adaptations.

Ten year on, we're now finding the cast in a variety of different productions, from Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying to Tom Felton in the upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Are there any productions that you've enjoyed with members of the Harry Potter cast? Perhaps Jason Isaacs in Armageddon, or Helena Bonham Carter in The Kings Speech...

Hm, I might as well start with my favorite.

Helena Bonham Carter: Can I just say anything that she does is fantastic? I loved her in TKS with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, but I also enjoy her usual off-the-wall roles, like the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland or Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd.

Alan Rickman: Brilliant. But the only thing that comes to mind is his role as Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd. Who knew he could sing? He has such a good voice for narrating, too.

Emma Thompson: GAH, she and Kenneth Branagh in Much Ado About Nothing were fantastic!

Gary Oldman: I'm ashamed... the only film that I can remember seeing with him is in The Dark Knight. I should be shunned until I finish seeing his other films.

Dan Rad: MY BOY JACK. It made me bawl like a child whenever it came out... a few years ago. Seriously, though: I never knew Dan Rad as a soldier could be so inspiring.

Erm... that's it for now.

Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves"! He had some of the best lines! Let's not forget him in "Galaxy Quest"!

Ralph Fiennes in the "English Patient"

Jason Isaacs in "The Patriot" and in "Peter Pan"

Julie Walters in "Mama Mia"

Helena Bonham Carter is fantastic in everything she does - "Alice in Wonderland", "The King's Speech", "Sweeney Todd", etc.

Mark Williams in "Shakespeare in Love" (love his stuttering!)

Robbie Coltrane in "Nuns on the Run"

Helena Bonham-Carter is fantastic in every role, but especially in the King's Speech and Howards End (along with Emma Thompson.) I saw Alan Rickman in Love Actually and Robin Hood, and loved him in both. Also, Maggie Smith is a brilliant actress, I just saw a dark comedy with her yesterday, not a very elaborate film, but Maggie totally made it worth watching. Although her role in Becoming Jane was minor, she acted superbly as well. Ralph Fieness did a great job in The Reader, and Emma Thompson was wonderful in The Remains of the Day.

Well, anything Helena does is spectacularly creepy! From Mrs. Lovetts to the Red Queen, that woman is amazing!

I also thought Alan Rickman did well in Sweeney Todd. He's so good at playing a creepy, unlikeable character!

I loved Rupert and Julie in Driving Lessons! I thought it was a really cute movie. I did like Rupert in Cherrybomb as well. It was interesting seeing him play a completely different role

I thought Julie was very funny in Mamma Mia. Who knew Mrs. Weasley could sing? lol

I was impressed with Gary Oldman in Sid and Nancy. It was a far, FAR cry from Sirius and very interesting to see.

I thought Emma in Ballet Shoes did a wonderful job. She's so cute and the movie was cute as well

Dan was good in December Boys. It's funny cuz even though he wasn't the main character, your eye just gets drawn to him. lol

Oh my gosh. I feel overwhelmed.

Alan Rickman: Everything in his life, but I'm particularly fond of Galaxy Quest.
Emma Thompson: She's another gem in anything she does, but... Sense and Sensibility. So classy. Mmm.
Emma Watson: Yeah, I own Ballet Shoes. I thought, for a fairly eh storyline, she did a good job with it.
Helena Bonham Carter: I don't even know. Everything she does is so unique and I don't even know how I could try to pick something out. She can cover such a span... but I will say her portrayal of the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland was crazy good.
Maggie Smith: HOOK. Hook, guys, Hook.
Julie Walters: Mamma Mia. So, so funny to see her like that.
Tom Felton: THE BORROWERS. Oh man. That movie.
Gary Oldman: Air Force One.

I know I'm Captain Obvious with this statement, but this is such a quality cast.

I don't think I've seen too many movies/TV shows that have some of the Potter cast in them, but for the few that I have seen:

Helena Bonham Carter is fantastic in both The King's Speech and Alice in Wonderland. Really can't pick a favorite between them.

Jason Isaacs in The Patriot and Avatar The Last Airbender (The Legend of Aang in places outside the U.S., I believe). If I pick a favorite between these two, it's definitely ATLA. I love that show to pieces, and he was a fantastic Admiral Zhao.

Alan Rickman in Alice in Wonderland and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I definitely like him in both, but he has more lines in Robin Hood, so I reckon that's my favorite of these two

Gary Oldman in Christopher Nolan's Batman movies and Quest for Camelot. He's brilliant in both, but my favorite would probably be Quest for Camelot. I love the Batman movies, but I've watched Quest for Camelot since I was a kid, so it has a special place in my heart

Ralph Fiennes in Prince of Egypt. He was a fantastic Rameses

Dragon..Dragon..Draco.. | | Sirius Lee Black

Alan Rickman in "Sense and Sensibility" (if you've ever imagined Snape blonde, your wildest fantasies shall come true). Severus Snape

Jason Isaacs in "Tuxedo" it was an enjoyable movie and Jason was so smooth, classy and extremely likeable. Lucius Malfoy

Helena Bonham Carter in "The Kings Speech" she did a really good job. I loved the movie! (It came as a close cross between this and "Alice in Wonderland"). Bellatrix Lestrange

Tom Felton in "Anna and the King" his lines from that were pure genius and he was such an adorable little boy. I think this is when I first 'fell in love' with the adorable guy. Draco Malfoy

Emma Watson in "Ballet Shoes" I remember when I read the book, it was an old battered copy and I loved it, it was when I was first getting into ballet and such, and then when I found out that there was a movie, I pretty much melted, Emma being in it was a definite plus, she did a great job. Hermione Granger

Gary Oldman in "Batman" (pick the movie, I can't decide), he does a great job in those movies, he was also in another one ("The Fifth Element" maybe?) where he was evil and did great in that. Sirius Black

Ralph Fiennes in "The Avengers" (1998 film with Uma Thurman and Sean Connery), that was a wicked good movie, really enjoyable and it was fun seeing Ralph play a good-guy for a change! Lord Voldemort

Harry Melling in "Merlin" (season three, episode eleven), the funniest part about him being in this was that he had magic, and he liked magic and, oh dear, Dudley with magic, I still can't stop laughing. Dudley Dursely

David Tennant in "Doctor Who" (tenth doctor), I have become literally obsessed with this TV show, David has done a spectacular job, I love him so much! Barty Crouch jn

George Harris in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" I loved his role in this, and only just recently found out that he was the awesome boat captain, Katanga. Kinsley Shacklebolt

Timothy Spall in "Enchanted" his character was extremely funny, quirky and a little bit loveable if a foolish way. Peter Pettigrew

Warwick Davis in "Return of the Jedi" he was sooooo adorable, I wanted to hug and cuddle his character, the whole movie great, the whole series is great. Filius Flitwick & Griphook

Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew): Vanilla Sky. Although he has a minor role, he is the opposite of Pettigrew there and I like it. Sweeney Todd as well, with Alan Rickman (Severus Snape).

Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange): Er... all of her films? Especially in The Corpse Bride. Again, she is the opposite of Bellatrix... and I believe this lady needs no more words on her acting abilities.

Alan Rickman (Severus Snape): Sweeney Todd, of course!

I shall start with Dan. He is the one I will remember most in the etnire cast of HP, so I might as well start with him.
I loved him in December Boys. I really loved him! His character was of one completely opposite to what he plays in Harry Potter. It was a serious movie. And he pulled it off really well! Hats off!

Helena Bonham Carter... Err, well, I liked her in The King's Speech. Crazy and wacky as she is even in real life, playing the Queen seemed an extremely difficult task for her, but undoubtedly, she made an awesome queen!

Alan Rickman's role in Hairspray was by far his best! That's what I think, actually. But of course, Sweeney Todd is not to be forgotten.
