I'm a great fan of Harry Potter, and one thing that I'm really hooked about is the romance built by the characters within the series. We must accept the fact that it's one of the most interesting thing that were made in the books.

But pertaining to the movies, what's your opinion about the chemistry of the actors and actresses who were cast to play the part of the couples:

For me, I just love the Chemistry between Ron and Hermione. They're just the best! Even though Rupert and Emma is not showing the interest of their characters with each other so much, you can see that those simple eye-contact and conversation just means the lot for them, which is what a real couple is all about!

Another pair that I was really satisfied about is Tonks and Lupin. Even though David Thewlis is not my first choice for Lupin, seeing that he's a bit old for the character, he just satisfied me in the end as he appeared in OOTP again, giving the audience the impression that Lupin is a bit of someone that we should look for as the series goes on.

Plus, the casting of Natalia Tena as Tonks, she didn't appear physically perfect for me in the first place, but her appeal of being a cool witch somehow satisfied me. That later on, I realised, that apart from being romantically involved with Lupin in an early age, she just showed that really, 'Age doesn't matter', as long as they look perfect to be a couple. Which is the very thing that's amazing about David and Natalia.

And about the Harry and Ginny thing? I'm sorry to those Harry&Ginny tribes, but I just don't like their chemistry at all. Not that I don't exactly like them, it's just that I don't see any spark when their together. I mean, the feeling of 'love is in the air' is not there. But of course, it's my perspective and opinion about them. But I do respect everyone's ideas and thoughts.

Harry + Ginny = love, Really like them together espesially after the Deathly Hallows kiss! <3
Ron and Hermione also love great couple great chemistry.
Remus and Tonks, yeah I really like them together, they're cute.
Bill and Fleur, hmm don't know yet. I'll have to see Deathly Hallows first I knida liked em in the books.
James and Lilly <3 I love them they will always be one of my faves. <3
Arthur and Molly,also verry cute and funny they really are an older Ron and hernione.

Harry and Cho - there is a reason they didn't get together....HATE them as a couple!
Hermione and Viktor - it was sweet while it lasted but I'm happy they didn't stay together.
Ginny and Dean - no, just no.
George and Angelina - sweet.... I would have liked to of seen more of Angelina both in book and movie but ohwell, never mind. I do like them together though at least from what we see of them.
Snape and Lilly HATTTTTEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Sorry but, he's evil pure evel set out on one task and thats reveng. EVIL.... LOVE lilly though.

I agree with you there on the Harry/Ginny romance. I think it's because of there's a sense of force when they're paired up. If anything they are great together as friends, but I'm okay with them being married and having kids together since they are like partners, being completely in balance with each other and because we don't witness them fighting it's almost hard to believe there's a spark.

I believe with Ron/Hermione it's there since we experienced how they clashed and eventually seeing Hermione warm up to Ron when she previously would've scolded him, and once Ron started to become more of a gentleman to her.

I absolutely hated Harry/Ginny in the films, mainly because in my opinion their scenes together were very poorly written and I just wasn't convinced he was genuinely attracted to her. I found her very irritating in HBP.

I really love Ron/Hermione though, they have great chemistry and manage to be funny together as well as sweet. And Rupert and Emma are very good at arguing with each other

I also love Lupin/Tonks. Even though he's a bit too old for the part I adore David Thewlis, he's an amazing actor. Natalia Tena was a great choice for Tonks too, and I hope we see much more of them in DH.

Waaaaugh, I must agree. As it is, I'm not a big fan of the Harry/Ginny pairing from the books, but I feel in the movies, it's even worse. There's no sense of them falling for each other - out of nowhere, suddenly they like each other. But you lack so much chemistry! The whole thing feels contrived, exactly like two kids who don't like each other playing I like you. Ginny seems almost to be trying too hard and Harry seems almost apathetic, and while it doesn't help this ship is so out of the blue, the chemistry between the actors, or lack thereof, really doesn't help.

But I AM very fond of the chemistry between Rupert and Emma. They create this absolute sense of two awkward kids falling in love and even when Ron is dating Lavender, you can FEEL and SENSE and almost TOUCH the chemistry between Ron and Hermione's characters. These little antics, looks, looks away, the distress. It's all cute and very REAL. And I love that, because - evident by my name - they're my favorite ship. ;]

Dan and Bonnie don't really have much chemistry sadly and Ginny was so poorly written in the HBP movie it was unreal

Rupert and Emma are AMAZING together and you can see the spark between them onscreen and they make Ron and Hermione's relationship seem very believable

Tonks and Lupin are just cute full stop <3

Dan and Katie had ZERO chemistry (hey maybe its just Dan )

Emma and Stan looked okay together, but Hermione was always made for Ron

I think Rupert and Emma's chemistry in white hot. There make Ron and Hermione a totally believable couple. You could see there was something going on between them from the first movie and it has grown into something amazing. I just love them.

Hermione and Ron is awesome in the books, in the movies.... okay, we'll see how it will be in DH. I disliked the scene in GoF when Hermione just spin out of control and tells Harry and Ron to go off to bed? I just "what the...?", while Rupert makes a good scene of it. I'm longing to see their kiss in DH.

I hope Ginny and Harry will make a good couple in DH, I mean, they were a couple in HBP, but you never get to know that in the movie (all you see is the interest and Ron's sitting between them in the sofa?). Anyway, Ginny's a hundreds of times better than Cho.

All the couples in the books were superb but the movies weren't so good.

We didn't see enough of Hermione and Ron stuff until HBP when Hermione cried about him etc. Emma Watson was good with that part.

Bonnie Wright could have been a whole lot beter but we didn't really see enough of her did we?

Auror Prince - to add another to your list. Ron and Lavender I didn't like at all. The books they were horrible together but the movie it was worse because you ahd to watch it.

I will admit, early in the books I was a Hermione Harry fan. Then as the plot progressed I saw that Hermione and Ron were meant to be together. The characters in the movie do a swell job in the chemistry. They are supposed to be subtle about it, but when the time is right, the characters really connect.
Once I accepted the fact that Hermione wasn't going to be with Harry, Harry was day dreaming about Cho. What was that all about? I kept thinking Harry your wasting your time she is not the right girl for you. That was ridiculous. But I did not see the Ginny thing coming. I mean, yes I knew she had a crush on him but I didn't not think they were to end up together. Is it just me or is it weird that Ron's little sister ends up with his best friend. And Both Harry and Ron's best friend Hermione end's up with Ron. Idk I thought it was strange.

Lupin - Tonks (David Thewlis & Natalia Tena)
LOVE both actors, but in the movie, they're not at all believable as a couple. but thats probably because they only had one scene in the movie that wasn't even in the book.

Arthur - Molly (Mark Williams & Julie Walters)
ADORABLE! i love these two. completely believable.

Lucius - Narcissa (Jason Isaacs & Helen McCrory)
Helen is one of my favourite actresses. They didn't have any scene's together in HBP, but maybe there will be some more chemistry in TDH? I hope so!

There wasn't enough Bonnie and her lines were way to weird for there to be anything real between Harry and Ginny, but from the stuff I've seen about 7 there is going to be a lot more.

Even though I'm not a big Ron/Hermione fan.. But it is sooooo obvious and VERY cute in the both the movies and the books! Emma and Rupert are AMAZING at acting! So, I'm really looking forward to see the 7th and Ron and Hermione get together at last! Just because I know it will be such a cool seen!

I think they idea of Billy and Tonks is crazy, (but Charlie and Tonks is not! lol) And Fleur is good with him.. I wanna see their wedding so bad!! (Because it is a wizarding wedding and Gabrielle and Ginny's dresses, and Aunt Muriel!!)

I think in the fourth that Stan did a pretty good job of acting, Emma did amazing as always, it was quite good in the books as well. So, I wouldn't be upset if that's how J.K.R decided that's how it should end.

I can't say much on Cedric/Cho (Robert/Katie) Katie did a really good job in my opinion as Cho.. I wasn't that big of a Cho fan (I nearly hated her) till I saw how Katie portrayed her, I know that's kind of weird.. I wouldn't have really cared if Cedric lived and got married to Cho, would have saved a LOT of trouble. There wasn't much in the movie of them, so I can't say how good the actors did at that.. But it's a cool idea.

Harry and Cho was sooooo adorable! I totally am for it! Katie and Dan are cute together, so that just completed it all!

And now I'm rambling! I should stop!!

Ron and Hermoine their just so perfect for each other..one is dumb luck person one is very smart..haha great couple..well harry in ginny in the book their scenes are more romantic but in the movie..well..i wish if they can remake the Harry Ginny scenes..i think it needs improvements!

ron and hermione make a perfect couple..
it was probably the most complicated relation in a way.. like knowing each other for so many years.. fighting and yelling at each other.. but great mutual understanding too.. and then finally realizing the love for each other.. this is all just brilliant..

Harry - Ginny (Dan Radcliffe & Bonnie Wright) Absolutely perfect match. I think they should have been together through out the series though. I love the way they looked at each other. Looking straight into each others eyes like noone else was around. That would have been awesome. By far my favorite match.
Ron - Hermione (Rupert Grint & Emma Watson) Their relationship was intense, different and difficult. I loved it though. They make a cute match. They way the always picked on each other and treated each other showed how much they actually cared for each other and truely loved each other.
Lupin - Tonks (David Thewlis & Natalia Tena). Strange couple. If they were invovled in the movies more I could get a better picture of how I feel on their relationship.
Bill - Fleur (Domnhall Gleeson & Clemense Poesy). Cute, but I think Fleur was waaay too pretty for Bill. I think they could have acted more inlove then they did.
James - Lily (Adrian Rawlins & Geraldine Somerville). In the pictures and memories they showed of them they seemed perfect.
Arthur - Molly (Mark Williams & Julie Walters). Perfect match. They did an excellent job as acting like husband/wife mother/father and both did a great job of acting like harry was one of their own.
Lucius - Narcissa (Jason Isaacs & Helen McCrory): Both were creepy actors, so this was a perfect match.



Harry - Cho (Dan Radcliffe & Katie Leung) No. No. No. I absolutely hated this match. The book made Cho sound so pretty and in the movie she wasn't at all.
Hermione - Viktor (Emma Watson & Stanislav Ianevksi). I loved them together. He showed so much affection towards her and Hermione glowed when she was with him.
Ginny - Dean (Bonnie Wright & Alfie Enoch) No. No. No. She should have been with harry the whole time. They were just an odd couple. Enough said.
Cedric - Cho (Robert Pattinson & Katie Leung). Eh, they weren't shown together enough for me to get an idea about them. It was clear though that Cho had a thing for harry, so I'd have to say this was not a good match up.
Bill - Tonks as Mrs. Weasley wanted it (Domnhall Gleeson & Natalia Tena) Tonks just isn't right for Bill. Bill and Fleur made a better couple.
George - Angelina (Oliver Phelps & ...) No clue.
Snape - Lily (Alan Rickman & Geraldine Somerville). IDK, I'd like to see the second half of the movie with his memory on there. But this defantly was not a good couple. Snape is too much of a scary guy and Lily was way too nice and pretty. It wouldn't have been a good match at all.

Harry - Ginny (Dan Radcliffe & Bonnie Wright): Okay, the chemistry is weird between these two. Every time Dan kisses Bonnie it feels so forced and awkward. It's just one of those flaws of creating the movies before the books were complete. There's just no chemisty between these two actors!

Ron - Hermione (Rupert Grint & Emma Watson): Now, here's two people that can act and have chemistry on screen! They just work with one another. There's heat, there's passion and I can't wait for that moment when they finally kiss!

Lupin - Tonks (David Thewlis & Natalia Tena): I adore David Thewlis! I'm cool with the fact that they went older with the Marauders because Alan Rickman is the perfect Snape and he was cast first. So, since they went older I think they should've gone older with Tonks as well. She can still be young and that's why I really with Anna Friel was cast in the part of Tonks. She's British and real-life partner of David Thewlis, so there's definitely chemistry and there's a 13-year age difference, which coincidently enough is the same age difference between Lupin and Tonks. I just think there's a total lack of chemistry between David and Natalia.

Bill - Fleur (Domnhall Gleeson & Clemense Poesy): They haven't really been on screen together that much to really see if they have chemistry. I did picture Bill a little more modelesque, but given who was cast I'm actually cool with it. Clemense is a beautiful girl and even in Half-Blood Prince (even though it's never seen) she says she'll be beautiful enough for the two of them.

James - Lily (Adrian Rawlins & Geraldine Somerville): For a couple that has very little dialogue, I actually believe they're a married couple. Just their subtle glances at one another and little touches here and there, they look like a genuine couple concerned for their son.

Arthur - Molly (Mark Williams & Julie Walters): Adorable! I would be the luckiest girl in the world if I found my Arthur! They're cute, they're bubbly, they're everything you'd want from this cute Weasley couple.

Lucius - Narcissa (Jason Isaacs & Helen McCrory) I don't see any chemistry between these two! I guess I always picture Narcissa looking quite younger than Lucius and Helen just does not fit the part. However, due to their lack of chemistry, that's kinda how I feel the couple would be if they were real. I'd think that Lucius and Narcissa only got together to tie their pureblood families, but there be total lack of love between the two of them except for maybe their mutual love for Draco. Love Jason, not a big fan of Helen, but it works ultimately in the end.

Ron and Hermione: Amazingly gorgeous! I love the beautiful chemistry between them. Rupert and Emma portray it beautifully. You can't get better then them. Can't wait for that kiss.

Harry and Ginny: It's cute and I ship it but it's a bit odd in the movies. It seemed so onesided, Ginny's side until HBP and Harry just happens to start liking her. I mean their were only like super tiny hints during training the DA but that's it. But once HBP it's like, crap we gotta throw this in here before DH1 so here goes. And then in DH1 they didn't even have their, We Can't Be Together speech before Harry left. All we get is a quite steamy dress zip up and kiss. It's like what?
On Dan and Ginny's side, it's just weird. Sorry to you Dan lovers, but he can't kiss. I make graphics and no matter how many times I try to cap a good image of it, that HBP kiss is ugly. Dan looks like he is swallowing Bonnie's lips and it's just eww.

Lupin and Tonks: Needs more screen time. There is no story at all in the movies and suddenly you see them together at the Burrow? Someone who doesn't know the books, isn't gonna get it at all.
The story was so cute in OTP book and it deserved some more time if was gonna be in their at all. Personally I would have left the pairing out completely in movies if they couldn't do it properly, it's not necessary to the story since the attack on the Burrow doesn't exist in the HBP book at all.
I love both actors for Lupin and Tonks, great casting and I am confident if they had been given the chance to do the book storyline relationship /love triangle with Sirius, it would have been preformed beautifully.

Arthur and Molly: I adore these two! So precious, especially Molly. The casting was brilliant, I can't imagine bumbling Arthur and busy body Molly portrayed any better. They have sold it as Mr. and Mrs. Weasley.

Harry - Ginny (Dan Radcliffe & Bonnie Wright)- This relationship, is a very cute but will always be akward because you are married to your best friend's sister. But hey they loved eachother and i was happy for this couple because they went through a lot of the same things and can relate to eachother.
Ron - Hermione (Rupert Grint & Emma Watson)- omg they are the cutest couple. The love/hate relationship always kind of made you laugh in the books and movies <3, they are the best couple out there. Like hermione said "she will always be mad at him." but she still loves him all the same.
Lupin - Tonks (David Thewlis & Natalia Tena)- i adore this couple! i love tonks because of her personality. Why should being a werewolf stop you from loving someone? nothing should!
Bill - Fleur (Domnhall Gleeson & Clemense Poesy)- i love their wedding scene in the hallows! they were adorable in the books and fleur is happy and that is all that matters.
James - Lily (Adrian Rawlins & Geraldine Somerville)- of course the harry potter parents, they did have a rough beginning because lilly said she didn't like james at first because he was a quidditch player and was arrogant. almost reminded me of the ron/hermione relationship, but they loved eachother and had harry which is a great life if you ask me they ended up with :]
Arthur - Molly (Mark Williams & Julie Walters)- SO ADORE THIS PAIRING! they are always risking their lifes for one another and always put their family first <3
Lucius - Narcissa (Jason Isaacs & Helen McCrory)- eehhh didn't really care for this couple.

Harry - Cho (Dan Radcliffe & Katie Leung)- umm they didn't last long, harry only had a puppy crush on her, they were caring and cute.
Hermione - Viktor (Emma Watson & Stanislav Ianevksi)- cute couple moment in the goblet of fire and they were cute and hermione found someone she could care about and not have someone tear her down like ron does.
Ginny - Dean (Bonnie Wright & Alfie Enoch)- eh no. they were not good together.
Cedric - Cho (Robert Pattinson & Katie Leung)- they were cute, and they did care for eachother. i didn't really personally care for this couple.
Bill - Tonks as Mrs. Weasley wanted it (Domnhall Gleeson & Natalia Tena)- ah no. i can't imagine that couple.
George - Angelina (Oliver Phelps & ...)- eh, you are dating your older brothers crush.
Snape - Lily (Alan Rickman & Geraldine Somerville)- i actually haven't really given this couple some thought, but i mean if they did marry, harry wouldn't have been alive, i know snape would have been happier but i think the couple would have been weird.
