Hmmmm, well since it was not revealed that Trelawney told the prophecy, I wonder if it will have to be revealed in HBP so that Harry finds out that Snape heard it and told Voldemort.

I have read that they are going to cut back on the Pensieve scenes, that will be interesting.

I wonder if they will make Harry quiditch captain since they didn't make Hermoine and Ron prefects in movie 5. I am hopeful that quiditch will finally come back to movie 6, it has been long time gone.

^^Oh my goodness! They cannot cut the Pensieve scenes! I thought HBP was highly about Voldemorts past..it will be pretty sucky if they cut that out!

I dont think we'll have the Scene where Dumbledore takes Harry to Slughorn's house..The "Slug Club" most likely wont be there...ofcourse they cant cut out much on the Potions lessons and Harry's new found brilliance at Potions through Snapes old book seeing as the title is after all "Half Blood Prince"

About Quidditch... I dunno but I feel they just have to include it this time seeing as Harry is captain and Quidditch is so closely related to Harry and his love for Hogwarts! It would be wrong to not include it Also I do have a feeling they will include it because I know for a fact that theyre including the Harry/Ginny make out scene..that was a result of them winning Qudditch so I dont think they'll come up with a whole new situation just for the make out. So my fainal analysis is that yes, Qudditch will most likely be there!

I'm pretty sure they'll ignore Dobby yet again, I dont understand what the movies have against my favorite house-elf hehe!

he'll probably leave harry and lupins fight, he might put that in there but i know theres going to be a lot of stuff he leaves out.

Hmm...I know they aren't leaving out the meetings with dumbledore, But I'm guessing they will shorten their meetings in the movie.

I wonder if he will rush this one like he did the fifth? I felt like he rushed through the last 40 mins of the fifth movie, and there was a lot left out. Even though this was a shorter book, I still think this movie could end up being 3 hours long to get all of the important things in it, especially stuff that leads up to no. 7. I know that a lot of the foreshadowing in book 5 for book 7 was left out of the movie, so it will be intersting to see how they will make some of that up, or if they will.

dobby is probably not going to be included again..i hope they put the scene in which dumbledore tells harry he just inherited all sirius's possesions..especially kreacher!...the slughorn christmas party coz im dying to see luna and harry going together..THEY HAVE TO PUT QUIDDITCH OF COURSE!..i really miss it..do anyone know if they'll include fleur in the movie?

I don't know that. But I hope they show Voldemort's past. I was really interested in seeing Voldemort as a kid.

I hope he doesn't leave out too many scenes like he did in Ootp! I really wish that they include the quidditch scenes!

They part I think will be cut is where harry uses the spell (that the HBP wrote), and Draco. It'll be to gory(sp?) to show...but I wish it would be in it

I don't know about everyone else but I'm so disappointed that David Yates is working on this movie, too........OoTP wasn't the best of the movies by a long shot. Too much cut out and way, way too short. I'm a little worried....

well, if going by what Tom Felton said, that he doesnt remember anything sticking out that there was a cut scene, then there's a good chance that Sectumsempra is in, after all, those are one of the few scene we ever get to see Malfoy.


they cant cut those, those are half the book . from all the construction and previous set reports, it looks like they are getting most of the Voldemort backstory in the movie. the worrying part is that there doesnt seem to be any of the Gaunts storyline given that none of the Gaunts have been cast. but then again the Gaunts story is really more about the Horcrux tale, and with the 2-part DH, that story can be moved there.

i was actually relieved with Yates being a lock to do the rest of the movies. with the success of OOTP in the box office, The Powers That Be would finally get off Yates' back and let him create a movie without being nagged to death about the running time. and the best thing about having just one director for the final movies? filmic consistency-- something that is omnipresent in most major franchises (Star Wars, LOTR) but seems to be sorely lacking in HP.

I agree, I like Yates and the cast seems to too!! They are putting in Quidditch, and Fluer isn't really necessary until DH. The Gaunts could be mvoed, but how would they do that without Dumbledore showing Harry the memory? I don't know, I think most of the big stuff is in there but the Pensieve stuff will probably just be compacted.. maybe compress some memories, with fewer meetings and more stuff in each meeting?! Either way it is going to be AWESOME!!!

I'm up in the air about David Yates being back. I can't wait for a trailer to get a feel for the new film.

However, I think the trailers for OoTP were much better than the movie. Eventhough the movie has grown on me with more viewings.

He'll leave out Dobby again, I just know it. But the thing is, if Dobby hasn't been in the films since COS, it won't be nearly as emotional as in the book when he meets his fate in DH...

I've heard they're adding a scene that's not in the book. About death eaters trying to kill people or something...it's just to show how dark and dangerous the wizarding world has become.

No offence to Dumbledore, but I am excited for THAT part of the movie. You know what I'm refering to, when a certain potions master executes a certain head master. It will be sad, but I guess I am mostly just excited for all the Snape scenes that are likely gonna be in this movie. Ootp really just didn't have enough of them.
