There are many cubicles. The desks are rather small and all are littered with tall piles of letters. Everything is eerily organized and the only noise echoing in the large space is the fluttering of pages and soft murmurs in foreign languages. There are enchanted windows that let in artificial sunlight into the area.

Lee briskly walked into his office and rummaged through some papers on his desk for what he needed for this meeting. It's here... it has to be here. Barely two minutes after his arrival to his desk, he received a letter from the Head of French Affairs. oy. more troubles, undoubtedly... He sighed as he read the letter, and sat down to write a quick reply. Sealing the letter, he magically sent it on it's way to the French ministry.

Ah ha! There it is! He grabbed his notebook about the situation abroad, dashed out of his office and down the hall to the Affairs Room.

Kaitlin entered her cubicle, facing a pile of letters. Most of the stuff she did was in German since she could speak it. She sat down at her small desk, ready to get to work.

As Lee was walking past the cubicles in his department, he realized he needed to inform his workers about the meeting. He quickly rushed back to his office where he wrote on several pieces of parchment about the meeting.

He then walked back out carrying the notices and his notebook with him. "Hello Miss, have you heard about the meeting in a couple minutes?" He asked the female at her desk, as he handed her a flyer. He continued to pass out flyers to the other employees.

Kaitlin looked down at the flyer, red it quickly, then stood up. She stood up and left the office heading towards the Affairs room.

Lee hurried towards his office and collapsed into his chair. It was going to be a long night with the tasks he had yet to do. He rested his cheek on his right hand and ran his left hand through his thick wavy locks. ugh... what should he do first? Reading over the memo again, he thought that his top priority should be to straighten out the relations between Germany and France.

He took out his quill and a sheet of parchment to copy two identical letters to the two governments in hopes on getting them to compromise, while he searches for the two lovers. He said that he would like to meet with them personally, in the British affairs room at 5pm Friday so that they can come terms with this trading business.

Lee then sealed the letters with an impeturable charm, and whistled for his tawny brown owl (Schmate) to come to him. He gave Schmate a treat, and told him to take one letter to the Head of French Affairs and the other to to the head of German Affairs.

Kaitlin sat down at her desk reading the memo. She laid it down amungst all her other papers not quite sure where to begin.

With her memo in hand about the priest Kaitlin hurried off to Miss Matos's office.

It has been brought to my knowledge that the Ministers of the French and German Magical Governments have agreed to attend a meeting in this Ministry. The meeting will take place in the Affairs room tomorrow at 9:30 am. Please start working on your plans of "attack" and how you will convince these two to start trading with each other. Lee waved the memo at his face, like a fan, thinking over its contents. He knew that the two Ministers would be here in just under an hour, and while he thought all night about his 'attack', for some reason he couldn't think of anything now.

He read the contents of the memo over again, and the situation at hand, about another four or five times before pulling out a piece of parchment to jot down some notes.

Lee closed his eyes to help him concentrate better on the task at hand; he knew this was serious business, but for some reason he couldn't think of what he wanted to say. Finally, at wit's end he decided to go fetch himself a cup of coffee and pastry from the break room quickly.

Arianna entered her office, her heart bumping on her chest like a hammer. She looked both sides, searching for Miss Matos. Ah, she wasn't there. She let out a relieved sigh and slowly made her way to her cubicle, stopping every now and then to greet a colleague. Apparently no-one noticed she was late or if they had noticed it, then no-one was bothering to say a thing about it.

Once she reached her cubicle, she let the papers she was carrying fall softly on her desk and placed her bag next to it as she sat down. In each wall of her cubicle, one could see photographs of foreign places, like Italy, Spain, Scotland, Portugal and so many other more, and a few others featuring herself and some of her family members in beautiful locations. A little girl that looked quite like Arianna seemed to feature most of them, along with a 27 year old man, who looked like the male version of Ari. She smiled at the photos, wishing she could be on one of those places once more.

Deciding it was better to start working, Arianna looked at her desk where she found a memo lying. She picked it up and read the content quickly. She let out another sigh as she read it for the second time. She really coudn't understand exactly why those minister's were fighting over their children's love life.

Kaitlin sat down at her desk, her mind racing. She had just returned from Spain. She took our parchment and a quill to start her report that Miss Matos wanted.

Lee returned to his office with a cup of steaming coffee in his hand, as well as a pastry. He took a big bite of of his pastry and then swallowed it quickly with a gulp of coffee. mmmm... that's good, he thought as he licked his lips savagely.

He stared down at the memo once more, and even then he was unsure of what to write. Finally, after reading the memo for the umpteenth time, he knew what he needed to tell these ministries. He started writing down his thoughts as fast as he could before it was time to meet them. He looked at the time and noted that it was five minutes till 9:30, so he must be off to greet the guests.

Straightening his tie, and running his fingers through his hair again, he dashed out of his office once more for this meeting with France and Germany.

Kaitlin smiled at her report. It was short, sweet, and to the point. She stood up and headed for Miss Matos's office.

Nefertari Astraia Tsukiko walked into the office carrying a large box.

It was her first day on the job and she'd brought just a few things to make her space more homely; she'd also brought many books on other cultures and languages-- after all, you never knew what you would need at a job like this.

She found her cubicle rather quickly and unpacked her box of personal possessions and books. Her space was decorated in no time at all and she smiled brightly, sweeping her long black hair back and tying it in a pony tail, high atop her head.

Her green eyes raked the room, looking at the faces of her co-workers. She peered over the edge of her cubicle to see who was next to her and then quickly ducked out of sight.

She sat down, then spotted a note. Apparently she was to report to the meeting room. She stood up and quickly hurried off.

Once it was time for the meeting, Arianna got up lazily and gathered a few of her papers to help her once she was talking to the ministers. What she would exactly tell them, she did not know. Time to improvise. She let out a sigh and walked out of her cubicle, towards the conference room.

Lee noticed one of his employees was still here in the office, when she should be in Spain interrogating the priest. The latest he heard was that the situation has not been resolved yet. He sighed and hurried on over to the young worker, before she got much farther in her destination.

"Excuse me, Ms McClain, but aren't you supposed to be someplace right now?" He asked thoughtfully. "Someplace like er-I-don't-know, Spain?"

Lee tactfully waited for her response to hear what sort of lame excuse she would have now. He was half tempted to go to Spain himself, because of the unreliability of his young employees. Besides, he could use a little vacation and he's never been to Spain before...
