Who do you think? Will Neville Harm Bellatrix in any way or perhaps kill her?

there's NO way that Neville will try tohurt Harry....Bellatrix on the other hand....well He can have as much fun as he wants with that

I think that he will be able to be more functional(memory wise etc) Once he does do Bella in. I mean she is the reason for most all the pain in his life. Probably the reason he forgets everything because when you go through somthing tramtic your brain tries to block everything out until you are able to deal with it properly. I believe once he Avenges his parents by killing or otherwise ridding the world of Bella he will finally be able to deal. I also think that If Harry is to go after Voldie and Bella being Voldies lil groupie type someones gonna have to get rid of Bella first. Who better than the Lovely Neville Longbottom?

there is a possibilty he may harm her...but as for killing her i ...will he be able to do it? does he have enough hate in him?

I want him to kill bellatrix but I don't think he's that strong enough to kill anyone.But I still hope he Does kill her.

i dont think he is that strong either...but who knows in book 7 maybe his hatred will be so much that he will kill Bellatrix

well up until the 4th book I was set in thinking that poor Neville was just a boring character that JK had made up, and then had some fun with him by making him as clumsy and forgetful as he is. But then I read the 5th book and I was like "OMG who is this guy?" he fights alongside Harry had shows courage we never knew he had in him. That's when I fell in love with Neville But seriously, he may have the strength in him to do it. She's basically ruined a huge part of his life, it's easy to believe that he could have enough anger inside him to be able to kill her.

i totally fell in love with him in book1. But as he grew bigger he became my fave male character. Ron was my first. I always though Nev didnt have much courage but now he has alot more! Who knows what he will do in book 7! Harm Bellatrix!

I do think that Neville will have a part in Bella's demise, or down-fall. After all that she did to his parents, it only seems right that he is able to get a bit of revenge...
His character has grown throughout the books, and he has learned much under Harry in the DA. I think he is fully capable of defeating her.

As for his morels/ conscience... I really don't think he would hesitate to kill her. And something tells me he will have a shmexy line there too. Like "This is for what you did to my family.." Or something along those lines.

im not sure about killing cos he not that type...but as for harming her there is a chance of it

I really don't think that Neville will kill her.... I think he will get his revenge but not that way....

He will have the strength I think after what she did to his parents and they yes maybe his memorywill get better after her death, if he can't maybe he will injure her so someone else can kill her for him

I still think he will kill her in a way other than the Avada Kedavra, because I don't think he is that powerful or strong (even with all his newfound strength and bravery)

who knows what he'll do... he started getting courage in the fifth book. In the fight he & Harry were the only ones left standing when they fought the DA...so who knows what will happen in DH

Now that we've read DH and we find out that Neville didn't have a hand in Bella's downfall, how do you feel about that?

I was really angry at first, but he did get rid of Nagini and that's really important as well...maybe even more important that finishing off Bellatrix.

Yeah. Bella is just a crazy old witch who's completely out of her mind. Horcrux or crazy witch? It's kind of obvious who needs to go first. Besides, Bellatrix got what she deserved anyways

Even though we already know what happened... XD I think Neville wouldn't have done anything major to Bella. Maybe a jinx and a hex or two or something, but nothing major. I don't see him as a revenge seeker. And, besides, he helped Harry destroy Voldie! *dances around happily*

I, think very much differently from Lynn, on this one .
I think if Neville would have gotten the chance, to corner Bellatrix, I think he would have tried to 'avenge' his parents. and I think he had a right to do so if he wished to, after all she had put his family through.

BUT, I do have to say, I'm even more proud of him for leaving even the thoughts of Bellatrix alone, and going after Nagini, she was MUCH more important.

I dunno Lynn, Neville in the movie seemed quite keen to get revenge on her But that is just the movie, not the real book

I think the fact that he went after Nagini and carried out what he believed was Harry's final wish shows how loyal to his friends he is. He's such a good guy
