Alright, you're probably wondering what this discussion is about Today on TheLeakyCauldron, they posted an interview with JK Rowling where she reveals more secrets about the post-DH world. Unfortunately, parts of that article go against SS rules and may make members feel uncomfortable, so I will only post the little bit that is about our Neville:

So, now we finally can rest easily knowing that Neville does indeed find love, even if it is not with who we expected Feel free to discuss your opinons on this issue in here. Do you like them as a pairing? Do they have kids? What are they like as a married couple?

Caitlin posted the whole thing, yes, in the news.

I said I think it's cute. I thought Hannah would marry Ernie, or another Hufflepuff... But I suppose that, in a way, they kinda sorta do go together.

And whether or not, I think, Hannah was the landlady at the Leaky Cauldron. he still would've been thought cool among his students

If I ever thought that Neville would marry someone from Hufflepuff, it would be Hannah. Ernie and Hannah go together in peoples minds because they were head boy and girl (at least that's what I think )

Yeah, and the fact that he lives above the pub makes him even cooler I guess it works that he married the landlady because if he wanted to, he could go home every night and not live in the castle like the other teachers.

Aberforth would be best friends with Harry's son Albus I could also see him naming his kids after his parents, like Harry did.

Well, yeah. Hannah was head girl? I honestly thought Neville, if he married a Hufflepuff, it would've been Susan. I dunno why. I like Hannah and Neville better though

That's right But isn't the Leaky Cauldron the way into Diagon Alley? It would've been even cooler if she was landlady of the Three Broomsticks.. Or Owner... Or something along those lines

I never thought about it but now that it's been said I think that pairing is totally cute.

And I think Abeforth Frank Longbottom is the coolest name ever. Makes sense.

I kind of thought that too, but then I thought that Hannah and Neville would be cute together. Although I don't really like the girl who plays her in the movies... She doesn't seem sweet enough and I could see her and Matt as a couple

Yeah, but it is still in the wizarding world, unlike say someplace like the Burrow, which is quite a ways away from Diagon Alley. Neville can Floo home or something That's what I meant

I agree, If a huffie I would have thought Susan, buuuut Hannah isn't too bad at all . Though, wasn't she the one in GoF (Movie) Standing next to Cedric and their group when Harry came up.. Started being rude to him..?

Yeah, she was the girl with Ernie, who was the guy who was all like "Like the badge, Potter?" and she was the blonde girl laughing with him. I don't see her and Matt in the movies However, me and Matt is a whole different story

Then their second son would be Frank Oh, maybe one of the girls is named after Hannah's mom? Cause she died in the 6th book, remember?

Well, they were in the same year, but I never got the impression they talked. It must have been something when they left Hogwarts

I think it was after Hogwarts...they probably met again and they recognized each other and realized that they were soul mates

I think everyone thought that. I'm still a bit confused as to why JK didn't put them together...they seemed so perfect! But Neville and Hannah are both kind and sweet (at least that's the impression we get from the descriptions of Hannah in the books) and maybe there is more to them than meets the eye.

I remember reading somewhere that Jo didn't want them to be together cause They were both sort of loners, the oddballs out and whatever other saying you can come up with XD. Annd that Luna was just too strange for Neville.. *Shrugs*

I think Nev really WAS scared by Luna, a bit Hannah seemed really sweet with her pigtails and stuff I think they're a good match

Hmmm I always wanted to see Luna and Neville together, but I think Luna was too into the clouds for Neville who seemed to be so earthier. I guess thats why he was so great at Herbology.

But him and Hannah is so sweet. I think that was a very smart match for JK to make, and then for them to own the Leaky Cauldron is awesome. I can just see the sunlight streaming into that place and Harry and Ron stopping in for a chat after work with Ginny and Hermione. That is awesome. I'm glad she let Neville find love with Hannah and a family.

Technically, we don't know if they ever had kids, but I like to think they did A bunch of cute little kids who loved plants and tripped over their own two feet alot

I was pretty worried for a while that he ended up alone...I'm just glad he found someone, even if it wasn't Luna like a lot of people expected

Neville is too sweet of a guy to have ended up alone. Even though he was clumsy he was the sweetest and kindest person in the world. I just couldn't imagine him not finding someone to love him. Neville to me was the Harry wrapped in a different package. In the sense that he didn't have to do what Harry did, but like Harry said it could have been him or Neville, and Voldemort only went after Harry because Harry was a half and half like him. but I think JK stuck with comparison factors between Harry and Neville.

Yeah, I was SO sad when we hardly found out anything about Neville in the last chapter. I was like..."But...but...Nev can't end up alone! " So I was SUPER relieved when we found out about Hannah

I loved all the comparisons between Neville and Harry, though. It kind of took away from his dorky, fade-into-the-crowd reputation and probably gave some readers the feeling that he WASN'T just a clumsy botanist XD

Yep it seemed to me like he was dangerously close to not mattering much in the books after SS came out. But then he stuck in there and grew up and it was fantastic that he did what he did in the 5th book then in the DH he was just truly awe inspiring to me! Neville rocks. Nice guys don't finish last!
