This is the SS fanclub/fanlisting for Gryffindor's most charming member, and the most talented underage botanist at Hogwarts.

Here will be our home-away-from home for discussions concerning Neville Longbottom, his role in the books, his role in the movies, his general characteristics, and the comeuppance of the other clubs in his brave name.

I'm the moderator sponsor for this club, so I'm only here to help the leadership (which we'll decide on later) out and give general advice. In the meantime, I will pick leaders for the club (more than one) by having anyone interested in taking a greater role answer some as-yet-undecided questions.

The first order of business is to decide what we shall call our officer positions, I will post questions for anyone interested in running/organizing this club to fill out for me to decide who will lead. Until then, briefly introduce yourself ot the other members.

Myself - Everyone calls me fox, feel free to do so as well, my favorite Potter book is GoF. Nice to meet everyone.

As unindicted co-conspirator, blackmailer, threatener, and general generator of overcompetitiveness, I, Meandering, do hereby salute all your bravery in choosing the Longbottom League (Fox, we need a new name. I dinnae feel comfortable calling myself a Longbottom-Leaguer.) over the other muchly overhyped characters. You'll find he has his own brand of sex-appeal anyway. After all, one doesn't have to be a bad-boy, or a soon-to-die hero, or posses a velvety voice and hook-nose to have fangirls - not intelligent fangirls/boys anyway.

Aside: if Meandering takes a toll on your typing fingers, you could call me Peony. That's P-E-O-N-Y, not Poeny, or Pony or Peny or Penoy, thanks.

I want to join this club for one simple reason: I love Neville. Not much is said about him in the books, and whenever Jo does explain something about his life, it make you want to know more of him--and hopefully expect something more from the usual blundering, awkward guy we know in the books. Spread the good love for this brave Gryffindor and do not let any "bad-boy, or soon-to-die hero" fanclubs stop you from doing so!

Everyone is right. Neville certainly rocks Hogwarts' foundations.

We need to start coming up with a better name for ourselves though. I admit the "Longbottom League" was not intended to even last this long....

I think Neville is going to play quite a great part in the future becasue his parents were killed by Death Eaters and he'd certainly want revnge for that.
