An idea in honour of DH!

FanFic Plots:
1. Hogwarts will re-open
2. Neville will not go Horcrux Hunting.

Oh, looks like I am the first to post some brainstormy action!

Hmm...

Okay.... well, first off, Neville, not being apart of the trio, won't be going on a search for any Horcruxes, nor will he know about them. If Hogwarts re-opens I think he'll go back, but then help the Order when the Final Battle takes place.

There will be no romance between him and Luna... (erg).

I think he will definately be a member of the Order once he comes of age. If school doesn't re-open, I think he will just become a very active member in the Order and help to stop Voldemort.

Well I think It would be better for the Whole Wizarding World if Hogwarts Re-Opens... Show those Death Eaters that Killing our Headmaster wont get us down But I do Believe that Neville Will be VERY VERY Active with the order and helping people... He is a smart boy he just gets nervous sometimes..

I agree that the school should re-open. Definately a moral booster.

Neville, no doubt, will play a huge roll. Perhaps he'll be able to work with plants to help make healing potions or something, like with Madam Pompfrey. No Snape might make it easier on him, and he is super good at Herbology. We want to play to his strengths, but not forget about his weakness, and help him overcome it.

Definately play a big part in the Order.

I agree with Jade. I doubt that Harry would even tell Neville. They are friends but they aren't that close as we saw in GoF.

I think Harry wants to keep the Horcruxes as secret as possible. Especially because he wouldn't want Voldemort to find out that he knows about them.

Hmm... I don't know what else to say, but definately no to the Horcruxes. In the MLFC you could have him join Harry and the others in their search by having the trio come back from their unknown mission all bruised and stuff and Neville offers help and Harry accepts...just a thought. Heehee. I'm not even in that club and here I am coming up with more ideas.

I swear by the end of this thing, my brain is going to be fried.

I think as time passes by in the final book, Neville gets more courage and changes. A lot. For instance, he might take revenge on BL for harming his parents.
I definitely think that Neville will become a perfect member of the Order, and will keep helping Harry (probably not the very final one between him and Voldemort). He'll learn more and more.
The Horcruxes...well, I think I remember Harry not telling anybody about them. Just the conversation between him and DD. So I don't really think anybody would participate in that, including Neville.

I think Neville will definately become more courageous. He isn't in Gryffindor for nothng.

We know that Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to be off searching for the Horcruxes... the Order would be working to stop Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Perhaps Neville could take part?

Also, don't forget that he is excellent at Herbology!

He should definately play a part in the final battle.

Well... this does have to be Sa9+ otherwise, I would say he could Crucio her a bunch in some kind of weird angry outburst... but it's not like Neville and this needs to be.. children friendly....

How 'bout he hurt her.... knock her out and at the end she gets the Kiss???

Well, Neville should do something nasty to her that might lead to her dying, but not casting the Killing curse on her. In mine I had him blast her into a wall and it crumbled on top of her.

Who writing chapters?

We could assign certain chapters to certain people. Say, for example, someone starts with the first chapter. They post it and the next assigned person can base their chapter off the events in the previous chapter. Make sense?

Other clubs have been doing it similarly, except that instead, everything is being PMed, this way, no one can take a peek!

Also, the other clubs have brainstormed a lot!

My point being, I think we need to do a lot more before we can start anything. Also, in the other clubs, a chapter summary with chapter titles is posted. This way, everyone can agree on what takes place.

I think that right now, we are making good progress, but we don't have enough to base a story off of. I love the idea Mary and Lily had! It's brilliant, but it's only a small portion of a story.

What we need is more. That counts as final battle chapter stuff, but what about the other chapters.... we see his parents.... his fights.... what else....????

we need lots more ideas! since Hogwarts is opening... what will he do there? Lessons as normal, i suppose...

Lessons are a must.

Maybe he reads stuff in the prophet about the war. Luna and Ginny would be there.... but I say no romance... None.

Perhaps they continue the DA?

Maybe somewhere in the middle, Hogwarts can turn into a safe haven????

We should also invent a new DADA teacher, since Snape is off pretending to be a spy for You-Know-Who We could get really creative with the teacher or something to make it really interesting.

I like the idea for using Hogwarts as a safe haven, like a backup headquarters for the order
