How to ask for help in Dutch

Excuse me - Pardon
Can I ask you something? - Kan ik u iets vragen? [[Kah-n ih-k u (without the y sound) eets vrah-gun? (hard g) ]]
Can you help me? - Kan u mij helpen? [[ Kah-n u mey halp-un? ]]
I need help. - Ik heb hulp nodig. [[ Ih-k hab hul-b no-dug ]]
How do you get to... - Hoe kom je bij... [[ Hoo koh-m y-uh bey... ]]
What street is this? - Welke straat is dit? [[ Wel-kuh strah-t is dih-t? ]]
Where is... - Waar is... [[ Wah-r is... ]]
Thank you. - Dank u wel. [[ Dahn-k u well ]]

Generally, when the person you're speaking to is older, you say "u" (without the "y" sound). When that person is significantly younger, you say "je" or "jij" (doesn't matter).
