*Ama's Mysterious Studio*

Hey All! This thread is created specially for our Art & Imaging Specialist, Ama. She's going to be working in this thread, putting together the graphics in the layout you gave her. You are allowed to post, those of you who are on the staff of the Mystic Magazine, your info about your pages. Remember to include a simple layout for Ama, so she knows how to work her magic. Now, I'll let Ama take it away!

Alrighty, Super Ama, here's Drey's interview and layout. You're gonna have this intro before the interview:

She told me about the forum after she saw some of my graphics and suggested I open up a shop there.. even after I closed my shop, I couldn't stay away.

2. Mystic: Your username is pretty intriguing, ‘muggled’ what made you go for that name?

- I had my creative cap on that day.. haha. I actually don't really know how I chose it. Just thought up some random HP words and muggle was one of them. Let's just say this: It would be cool to be a witch/wizard, but I'm not, therefore I'm muggled. hahah.

3. Mystic: You’re pretty much a die-hard HP fan, what got you into whole Harry Potter phenomenon in the beginning?

- I read the first book when I was in the sixth grade just out of boredom, to be honest, and that same year, my cousin took all the younger ones to watch the movie. So.. I was really Potter`ed out by the end of it, watching the movie and reading the book at the same time. lol. After that, I just liked the movie and the book so much, I wanted to continue reading the series. I got more and more into it with each passing book and movie.. and now here I am.

4. Mystic: From your tag, it says you’re the ‘Keeper of Alfie Enoch’. Is he your favorite HP star?

- Aww yeah. hahah. Even in the books, his character was one of my favorites (Dean Thomas), and when I found out the little cutie that I've been looking at on screen plays him, I was pretty much floored. haha. I've crushed on that guy massively for ages.

5. Mystic: Who are you favorite characters from the Harry Potter series? Least favorite?

- My favorites are the Patil Twins, and Dean Thomas. I admit I'm a little more partial to Parvati, I guess because she's kind of more relatable than Padma, ... or maybe because we've seen her more in the books than her sister, who knows.

But I like Parvati because she's, again, relatable. She's such a typical teenager in my eyes and that's awesome. The only difference is that she's a witch. She's also really brave and stands up for her friends. It seems like she always puts her friends first, ever since the first book. And you can totally tell that this girl has good fashion sense.

I like Padma for the same reasons, plus she's a smart girl.. Ravenclaw? Nice.

Dean is my other favorite because he seems the most like me, actually. He's artistic, and that's definitely what drew me to his character in the first place. He likes football (soccer), and I love that, too (wOo, manny u. hahah). Another reason is that I absolutely LOVE his backstory. I mean I love Neville and everything, but I was pretty bummed when i found out that Dean's storyline got replaced by Neville's. There's more to Dean than what's portrayed in the books. It's like he's this kind of mystery in his own right.

My least favorite.. ahh. People are gonna hate me for this one. hahah. Ginny. *dodgestomatoes* All I'll say about her is that in the sixth one, I just lost the already little-liking I had for the girl. Her attitude bugged me. She acted all high and mighty in that installment and it was unbelievably unappealing. I can rant on and on about her but I won't. This answer's long enough.

6. Mystic: You’re definitely a fan of the Patil twins; do you think that they will return for the seventh installment of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows?

- I hope so! My guess is that if they do return to the seventh installment, it'll have something to do with the DA. The final battle, perhaps? Sounds good. The twins were just abruptly taken out of the sixth book at the end.. I was kind of disappointed in that, so hopefully that wasn't the last we see of our girls.

7. Mystic: How do you feel knowing that ‘Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows’ is the last HP book?

- Sad. LOL. "What am I gonna read now??"

It'll be weird, honestly. Becuase I've been reading the series for a long time, and every time, I'm always looking forward to reading the next one once I finish a book. Now, after I read the seventh book, my first thought will probably be "can't wait to read the next one" then I'll realize there ISN'T a next one and I'll be sad. lol.

8. Mystic: Which one of the Harry Potter books is your favorite? (Not including the last book, since you haven’t read it yet).

- I'd have to say... the Order of the Phoenix. Becuase that was kind of like the peak, you know? Like that's the one where you finally realize that the kids.. aren't kids anymore. Everybody's growing up. *tear* lol. It's also really more emotional than the ones before that, because that's the period when, from that point on, everything started happening to Harry, he pretty much started to feel vulnerable in that one and BLEW up at the end. I liked his little rant. lol. Pretty awesome.

9. Mystic: What about the movies, which one in your favorite?

- I really liked the Goblet of Fire. It was a lot darker, a lot more emotional than the past ones. The actors were also better than they've ever been! I just loved everything about it. The new characters, the CGI, the costumes, the sets.. amazing. I think they did really well on getting the essential things from the book into the movie. But honestly, for me.. with every movie that comes out, my answer changes. So probably when OotP comes out, my answer will change from GOF to OotP. lol.

10. Mystic: You’re amazing at making graphics, what got you into that? Would you mind making us something so we can feature in the magazine for everyone to see?

- The whole thing started because of music. I was really into some groups when I was about 13, and I wanted to know more about them.. so I started looking on the web for good websites, and I didn't really find any that appealed to me. So when I gathered up enough info, I decided to make my own site. The layout's a big part of a website, so I started playing around with that.. and since then I just grew into making better designs and having better knowledge about graphic design. So much that it's definitely something I'm doing as a career in the future. I'm getting a lot of support for it, too, thankfully, from teachers, fellow designers, and even people from art colleges. These days I'm using it to make some money.. with erised.org. hahah. shameless plug.

It just started off as a hobby, something to pass time, and now it's become like a career path for me.
And surrre! Here's something I threw together.. lol.

11. Mystic: What type of music are you into?

- EVERYTHING. lol. Actually. I was raised on so many different types of music -- music is a BIG thing in my family. I've been into music since I was like 2 years old, singing Disney songs into tape recorders and stuff. I also grew up in the church. But I was raised on so many different artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, the Eagles, Eric Clapton, etc. I listen to a lot of indie.. I also like rock, contemporary, r&b, soul, jazz, gospel, some country, pop, and.. underground & old-school hip-hop. I'll listen to anything, the only thing I barely listen to is mainstream rap. I USED to be into that. A LOT, because all of my friends are into rap and hip-hop, but I've just strayed away from that.

12. Mystic: Who are some of your favorite bands/singers?

- Ooh, this might take a while. lol. I'll try to name my absolute favorites only..

Queen, The Beatles, Craig David, JoJo, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Franz Ferdinand, Jonas Brothers, Christina Aguilera, George, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Linkin Park, Jet, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jason Mraz, Bread, The Eagles, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, The Shins, Daniel Powter, Amos Lee, The Decemberists, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Rachael Lampa, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jaci Velasquez, Ruben Studdard.. that's only a few. lol. I listen to a WIDE range of genres, so it's tough for me to choose.

13. Mystic: How would your best friends describe you?

- RANDOM. hahah. Because it's true. They'd say that.. and.. well the biggest thing they'll say is that I'm shy and quiet, but once you get to know me, I'm ... crazy. and won't shut up.

14. Mystic: What’s your favorite gadget to have?

- My cell phone. Definitely. I can't live without that thing. It has EVERYTHING I need on it. It's like essential to my life now.

It's got ALL my music, my movies, videos, photos, it's how I talk to my friends even when I'm at home.. I barely use the home phone because I use my cell phone. If my cell phone was a boy, I'd marry it. That's all I can say. hahah! It's got everything I need!

15. Mystic: If you would visit any country, where would you go and why?

- I'd really like to visit the Philippines. I know, I know, it's not like.. 1st class, ultimate resort sort of place.. but it's where my family's from, and it'd be cool to see. Plus it is honestly really beautiful there.. it's a tropical place. Any place hot, I'm there.

Think we can get those smiley faces in the page also? And, what do you think about having the question and answer in different colors? Or, we could just have the word 'Mystic' <--- in that sky-blue. Okay, here's the simple layout:

Hmmm It is pretty long. I'll try to fit it in one mega large graphic if not I'll split it into two medium sized ones but I want to try putting it in one just because it looks nice. I finished what you asked of me and I posted it in my Graphic Shop but I'll go ahead and post it here.

The Mystic Magazine. I changed some things because I couldn't recreate the header EXACTLY like that one...from lack of textures and brushes but....I hope you like it. I saved the PSD as usual so if you want anything changed let me know.

Glad you liked it! Sooooooooo about the Fan of The Month. G_G. I had to split it into three pages. Is that too much of a bother? Should I try again? I don't mind. I also had to resize the fanclub banner so it would fit. =( Such a shame too because it's looks SO much prettier in it's original size.

Mystic: What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time? I used to read a lot but books aren't easily available to me now so I usually just get online and make graphics. I also like to RP(Role Play) online. I will be doing some cosplay very soon though! I'll be dressing up as Orihime from Bleach which is an anime.

Mystic: What’s your favorite color?
My absolutely favorite color is purple.

Mystic: You get the chance to travel the world, where would you go and why?
Oooh. I would go everywhere! But mostly, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Japan, Korea and New Zealand. Mostly because the scenery is just beautiful. Italy has such a rich culture and so does Japan. And New Zealand to visit a friend.

Mystic: What type of music do you listen too? Who are some of your favorite bands/singers?
I listen to almost everything! Country, Rock, Indie, Hip Hop, Pop--all of it! I do have favorite artists though. Muse, Boys Like Girls, 30 Seconds To Mars. Rooney, Rock Kills Kid and so much more. I don't really have favorites.

Mystic: How did you first come by SS?
Through a link in Mugglenet. haha. Which I have left behind.

Mystic: What got you into the whole Harry Potter phenomenon?
Hmm. My stepbrother had Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone in the back of the car during a picnic. I knew I would be bored while I waited for the grilled food to be done so I picked it up and read it all in one day. It was downhill from there.

Mystic: Who are your favorite characters? Least favorite?
Favorite Characters? HMM. The Marauders? Biased? Maybe. LOL. My least favorite would have to beeee Hermione. HAHA. I just find her annoying for some reason.

Mystic: If you had the chance to hang out with only one of the HP stars, who would it be and why?
I would hang out with Rupert because he seems like a funny guy and I just love to laugh and have a good time. Just as long as he doesn't decide to talk about golf because I know nothing about that sport!

Mystic: You’re given a dare by *whoever is the HP star you pick, names goes here* to dance and sing a disco song in a store you two are in, what song would you pick? Why that song?
Oh, my! Amusing question. Hehe. Dancing Queen. Definitely. Oh, I have a history with that song. >.> *won't tell*

Mystic: You travel back in the 70s’ to a club, and on the dance floor you see five HP stars grooving to ‘Stayin’ Alive’ by The Bee Gees. Who are the HP stars that are back in the 70s’ with you?
Haha. 70's? Well, if we go by timeline...during the 70's Sirus was in Hogwarts so I would see Sirius, James, and Peter dancing eagerly while Remus is dancing reluctantly in the shadows and Lily in tow.

Mystic: What’s your favorite disco song?
You Should Be Dancing by the Bee Gees

Mystic: What got you into making graphics?
Kirstie who makes amazing graphics got me into experimenting myself and I was hooked!

UM. Photobucket hates me. I have no idea why it resizes my page...and yeah okay the font is more readable this time but it's still a pain.
