You know, Matt didn't even want that one on the album? There's this other song called Fury that he wanted on; Dom and Chris disagreed and it ended up as a b-side. |

You know, Matt didn't even want that one on the album? | Yes! Muse + bouncy songs = yay! Some of the slower ones I'm, shall we say, lukewarm about, but the faster ones... bring 'em on! And he didn't want "The Small Print" on Absolution?! Man that's one of my favorites on there! Quote: |

Actually a lot of people think he's a complete nut, but some of the stuff he says I'm like "YES! It's not just me!" Quote: | I would sooo love to see them live sometime... someday... somehow... haha | I would camp naked in shopping centre with nothing but Biroed-on drawings of Matthew Bellamy to cover my modesty... to get Muse tickets.
You see if I wouldn't!
(Or I could just walk into the record shop, like everyone else... ) |

| My little brother walked in while I was watching Hullabaloo, gave me this real 'Are you serious' look and said, "They're miming."
I was all "Shut up! ... what?"
" Nobody is that good live." Mind you, he's only been to one concert and that was Avril Lavigne - who is admittedly pretty good live - and he was so short at the time that he couldn't see anything. Of course he's going to be cynical.
Has anyone else heard the new songs? Debase Mason's Grog and Chinese Whispers? |

| Naaah haven't.
One of my mates said he got tickets for Earl's Court but was lying to wind me up. aaah well. I think I saw some poll recently which said what the best rock moment was and Muse's change from the keyboards the the classic guitar show-off in New Born came in the Top 10!!!!
I think 'This Is Spinal Tap' came first but hey....
I adore Abbies (nick name for Absolution)
Oranges of Syrupy (nick name for Origin of Symmetry)
and Biz (Showbiz)
Faves:
Sing For Absolution
New Born
Plug in Baby
Megalomania
Cave
Showbiz
Any others? |

I'd never heard of Muse at the time, but when I got into Muse I was flicking through some old magazines to find out more about them. "There can be no moment in modern live music more electrifying than when Matt stands up, grabs his guitar, and teases the audience into its sledgehammer riff."
Or something along those lines. (I have a good memory for useless stuff.) And judging by the bootleg, it's true. Quote: |

| The most glaring omission is Citizen Erased, but I'd've included Stockholm Syndrome, TIRO, Hysteria and Sunburn. |

| I'm not very familiar with Muse's music, but I have heard Stockholm Syndrome (which I absolutely love) and Hysteria. I'm going to buy Absolution asap. I can't wait. I was listening to some clips, and it sounds pretty good. |

By the way, Muse are playing at the Paris Live8 at 5:30pm French time. That's 4:30pm GMT. It may be shown on BBC 1 and will - like all of the Live8 concerts - be streamed on AOL's website. (You don't need to be an AOL user to watch the stream.)

| *gasp* You nicked those out of the Caption Thread! I still think Matt is unbelievably cute in that second one, hung-over or not. I still don't get what's funny about 'toque'...
Here comes some more pretty spammage: Main Musers know I looove that last one. hehe |

btw, now whenever I see that last photo I always think of Matt being like- Oh yeah! She's ALL woman! hahaha
| Really? I still think of it in the context of the Making-of-TIRO video. Then I start giggling - have you seen Dom's face when he was watching the table-dancers? So funny. He's such a perv.
On the plus side, nobody's mistaken me for a guy ever since Good god, you can tell Matt's a Radiohead fan in that pic. Which video is it that Thom Yorke has that exact hairdo? It's a live vid. Not Creep. Quote: |
^I want Dom's Queen shirt.
| Matt looks like a more handsome version of Trey from the OC in that pic. Hot as heck. Quote: |
haha. Chris looks so out of it in all of those.
| Chris always looks out of it. Not so much in the first one though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../inthepink.jpg
I keep forgetting how cute Dom is. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rs/amateur.jpg
Haha! The Showbiz days... but Matt was/is unbelievably good looking. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ters/promo.jpg
