Stephenie Meyer is on tour in Germany at the moment. I've found a report of a Q&A session held there. I found it really interesting.

I, personally, can't wait to see the film and how it compares to the books. I think as HP fans, we know where to put our hopes and where we should be not so hopeful, but with everything Stephenie keeps saying, I'm really jazzed about it! I already thought that Robert looked perfect for Edward. Since he didn't have much to do in GoF, and that's the only thing I've seen him in, I'm not sure about the acting yet, but I can imagine him portraying Edward. I'm excited!
I NEED to hear about Jacob's casting though! I know they're still working on it, but we need Jake to be somewhat normal for Twilight, and then in the next two (and hopefully three!!!), he needs to have that amazing transformation into the stud that he is!  *swoons over Jacob* I've said this before, but it's odd for me to be a Jacob/Bella shipper since I'm so used to being in the majority with R/HR and H/G! I guess this is my H/Hr...only Jacob and Bella were in love, but whatever....
Anyway, I have really high hopes for Kristin Bell to be honest. Some of the Cullens make me nervous (particularly the Jasper and Rosalie), but as long as they make her as clumsy as she is in the books (and we need constant stumbling here people), I think Bell's Bella will be great!

Oh my gosh! I can not wait until it comes out. I fell in love with Robert over and over again when I see his picture. I loved him from the beginning, I'm not a hater Lol
Jacob rocks, I love him! I seriously hope Taylor Lautner isn't Jacob. No offense to him, but he looks a little bit too young. I'll always thing of Taylor as Sharkboy. Sounds stupid, but my brother got the DVD and..well, I've watched it thousands of times.
But who knows? If he is Jacob, maybe he'll be good. I'll be opptimistic.
One thing, though: who ever does play Jacob, he better be hot! | |
