hello.....well i'll get straight to the point
you guys are soooo lucky to have the movie on december!!!
where im from we have to wait until january because of this moviefest wherein all movie are from phil. unless 5k people sign a petition to move it back to the original date and there are only 2k+ who signed.... |

You're kidding? Thats very harsh. Especially since most of us now get the movie in November instead, but no spoilers, promise.

With the high-profile release of "Breaking Dawn" and the news that the movie's release date has been pushed up from December 12 to November 21, the pressure is higher than ever for the cast and crew of "Twilight" to deliver a product worthy of its hype. That could be why they're heading back to the set this week, months after wrapping the principal photography.

"I'm so psyched about it; we are shooting Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week, and it's really cool," Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) told MTV News at Sunday's red-carpet premiere of his new project, "90210."
Often, movies have to reshoot scenes when the powers that be are less than satisfied with the original footage, but Peter Facinelli, who plays vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen, put a positive spin on the work they'll be doing. "They liked it so much, they are bringing us back for some encore time — to beef it up," he said. "A little salt and pepper."
Maintaining optimism worthy of pre-werewolf Jacob Black, Taylor Lautner told MTV News that he was excited to get back in the "Twilight" world. "We actually just had a rehearsal at [director] Catherine Hardwicke's house the other day for a new scene," he said Friday. "It was a ton of fun."
According to Lautner, the shoots were planned before Summit Entertainment snagged the Thanksgiving weekend release date. "I know they've been showing it to some people, and some people go, 'I want to see a little more of this,' or, 'I don't quite understand this,' " he explained.
So what are these new scenes? "I wouldn't be walking tomorrow if I spilled those beans, but I'm psyched, especially about the wardrobe," Lutz said.
"I can tell you it's a flashback scene," Facinelli offered. "It gives us a little bit of history of the Cullen family. ... They are just shooting a couple of different added scenes, and the scene I'm in, I can tell you it's me and Robert Pattinson. ... Rosalie and Emmett are in that scene."
Lautner was more explicit: "Well, I am going to be in the prom scene now, at the very end of the film," he said. "At first we didn't film that, and now some people are saying they want to see a bit more of Jacob, and they want him in the prom scene at the end."

I'm pretty sure that there will be sequals because it's based on how well the first film does. With all the people that we know who are going to see this film, I'm guessing that there'll be enough viewings for them to make New Moon etc.
Unless Twilight ends up being rubbish, and everyone gives it bad rateings and reviews (But I'm hoping that doesn't happen cause it looks really good!!) | |

I was thinking about this the other day actually. And as one of the excercises i had to do at uni, we had to produce a treatment for an adaptation from book to film, and as well as Twilight translates from one medium to the other, New Moon, at least doesn't seem to work quite as well, I can imagine it working rather like the second PotC film, a definite middle, because until the end, the book itself is rather simple in narrative, however Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, because of the narrative content, translate much more easily into the cinematic medium, its not to say of course that I wouldn't like to see all of them as films, quite the opposite, i'm just wondering how they would do it to keep it interesting.
Rather like with DH, where 2/3 takes place in a tent. I am very curious. | |

^^ It stinks that you have to wait so long.
I really want them to do New Moon though.I could never picture the werewolves in my mind,so when I finally get to see what one looks like thanks to amazing graphics and stuff like that I'll be happy.It all depends on how Twilight does though.*crosses fingers* Update:I just read this at taylorlautner.info.They have the script written for New Moon! I'm not sure about the movie anymore. Its not a good sign when, after several months after filming, they have to go and do some more shots. Word has it that the critics and big wigs at the production company didn't like it, and thought it wouldn't do good. There's been too much released about it and most of the fans have seen all the *sneek peeks* and stuff, which basically means we've seen just about the whole movie. lol. But we'll see....and they interviewed some of the cast and some aren't too sure about them making sequels just yet. | |

I'm still crossing my fingers for it, I'm hoping that the reshoots are just what they appear to be - fleshing out. Its always a nerve wracking thing when books we love get adapted, quite honestly, I sick with nerves about it all.
Crossed fingers I guess.
Also, I do have a favour to ask, if there is any good info that emerges, can folk just pop a note etc in? Being over here in Blighty, a lot escapes the radar.  | |
