I'd been wondering about that... When I found out the Robert was gonna be Edward the first thing that came in my mind was NOOOOOOO, but he's English! Yeah, well, I'm English and I have to admit that hot vampire boys are more likely to be English. Oooh. I've grown accustomed to Cedric Robert, now and I kinda like him for the role. He'll never be my Hayden, oh no, but I think he'll do okay. ANDD he's the right age. Which is saweeet. And I like it that he gets along with Bella Kristen. - the only problem I have is with his EYEBROWS! I sincerely hope they do something about that before he stars in the best movie of all time, yeah...

No tess your not the only one =(, im still hesitant. Sometimes i find good pictures of him with a good Edward look, sometimes its just wrong. So i'm having hope in make-up and proper style application to bring out something i'll like. If they do a good job then yes it will kinda work, but yeah he's nowhere close to Henry Cavill or Tom Sturridge v,v

Edit: He's better looking in dark hair than blonde, so i hope they make it dark in the movie hehe.

I'm going with Meyer's rule #4, its all thats left for me. Two months, more pictures, maybe clips and maybe he'll make me fall head over heals...I'm not doubting his acting, he's good.... we'll know. *crosses fingers*

I had to let Rob grow on me as well. He wasn't my first choice. Well, actually I didn't have a first choice. I didn't have any choice. I guess I was thinking it would be some unknown actor too. Someone that would just pop up and be a perfect Edward.

Of course, let someone said, there is no perfect Edward. Except for the one in my head.

And that manip is a nearly perfect Edward in my opinion. I'm sorry to all those who hate the idea of Rob as Edward and that you'll keep an open mind so he might grow on you to.

As for Kristen, after I saw in a land of women, I thought of her as Bella. The only thing about her is her voice, it's a little deeper than I would have thought of Bella's but that hardly matters. I actually think Kristen's got a cool voice.

i'm not mad, exactly. Just upset. They could have picked someone SO much better, in my opinion. But I understand why they picked him. he does have that dangerous, yet dazzling aspect about him, despite how unattractive i find him. His eyesbrows are what bug me the most. =] haha.

I haven't found anyone either that I thought would make a good Alice yet. She might be the one I'm most picky about after Edward. I love Alice.

I like the guy Stephenie's got on her website, Tyler Posey, for Jacob. At least for Twilight anyway. If they follow up with New Moon reasonably soon after Twilight he may be too young, but I definitely think he'd work for Twilight. Other than that I don't have any suggestions for him.

What do you guys think about Jesse Spencer for Carlisle? He's my top choice so far but I don't know if he has quite the right look I'm looking for. I also like Charlie Hunam and Henry Cavill (who lots of people wanted for Edward). I think he'd be the right age for Carlisle, no?

And I haven't even thought of the others yet!

I'm not very pleased about Robert Pattinson getting the role either. He definitely doesn't embody the Edward we all know and drool incessantly over love.....for me anyway.But I agree with Stephenie Meyer, no actor will be good looking enough to compete with the Edward fantasy...sadly. Rob is growing on me, though, because I just think he's the hottest thing since fire anyway.

She even considered Drew Fuller for the role, which made me UBER excited, because Drew is what my Edward looks like. But I'm off subject. Main thing is, that there were a lot of guys were considered for this and obviously Rob fit.

Bella's choice is good. I haven't seen the actress act, but she has the right look.

I AM WAITING FOR JACOB!
