Hmm Catherine Hardwicke did Thirteen, which was supposed to be a good movie, and Lords of Dogtown, which I totally meant to see but probably avoided in favor of the documentary, which is really good...and Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the screenplay, has a spotty resume. She writes for Dexter, which again I haven't seen but heard good things about, and ...the screenplay for Step Up. A film I enjoyed only because of the dancing and the extreme cheesiness. So, it could go either way...ohmahgah now I'm even more scared.

I love love love LOVE those pictures.

And I officially am more excited about Twilight than HBP now. xD

Okay so I have to admit something... I must have missed the description of the Volvo when I was reading.. and I pretty much imagined it exactly like the film version. So, no complaints from me XD

Jasper's hair is.. hmm. I don't know. Amusing.. but it actually looks okay in the recent pics. It's just super funny on those Cullen Family pomo shots. ^^ Acutally everyone looks super funny in those... hehehehehehhe

I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to this more than HBP, but I'll definately go to see it at the movies. Which for me is a BIG thing. I don't like going to see movies in cinemas, I think the only ones I've seen in there the last couple of years would be HP. But yeah. Awesome! Can't wait.

All this news is making me anxious! I'm definitely looking forward to HBP more because I've been a fan for almost 11 years now, but I have to say that I'm PUMPED for Twilight!

I don't mind Jackson's hair too much, to be honest. I'm just interested to see Rosalie up close. She's a natural brunette, and some brunettes do not have the proper complexion to be good blondes...although, it doesn't necessarily matter if they're going to be pasty white. I like everyone's hair...yes, even Alice's!

I do have to say that I'm a little irritated that there will be a big fight scene. I know that sounds bizarre because we didn't see a fight scene in the book. But I think that's why I'm uncomfortable about that. I don't know. I just don't want it to be all cheesy. I don't want it to be too different from the book, you know?

Also, in case no one else posted this already, Michael Welch (Mike Newton) says that the cast is almost perfect, and they're getting along really well. He said that if he was really worried about the casting, he wouldn't say anything. But he's confident and wouldn't lie to his "twi-hards." (I hate that word. Do we have to have a nickname?) I love the pictures, and I have to agree with Ashely Greene when she says that nobody is as small as Alice, so people should stop complaining about that

^ Amen. I'm sick of the whiny fans. I understand a big majority of the fandom is teenage girls, but the outcry is really immature. I think that even if some of the cast aren't what we pictured, we should simply accept it for better or worse because, let's face it: We're going to see the film whether our ideal actors are in it or not.

And one of SS's members (I won't disclose the name just in case she doesn't want her name used. I'm not sure at this point...) scored a part in the film as an extra!!! Isn't that SWEET?!! She promised to give me all the details when she could, so when she does, I'll ask her to come here and spill for everyone!!! How freakin' awesome is that? Being in the same room with Robert Pattinson? *dies* She's going to be a student...in the science class and cafeteria too!

Also, from Sort of Beautiful, a livejournal dedicated to Jacob Black, there is a rumor going around that they might recast Jake for New Moon! (This comes from TwilightMoms, but I can't find original post with the help of .) THIS IS JUST A RUMOR AT THIS POINT!!!!!! There is no verification of any kind, but this is what it says there:
If this is true, I think Stephenie may push for Steven Strait since that's her preferred actor. He is featured in her art on her official site. And I think we had a unanimous vote here at Steven Strait would be an amazing older Jacob. IF it's true, I feel a little bad for Taylor, but starring in Twilight would be great enough. PLUS, I'm not sure if he'd be able to go through that big physical change so quickly.

So THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL BY ANY MEANS, but I'm interested to see what becomes of it.
