Twilight, the first of three books by Stephenie Meyer, is currently in pre-production for becoming a movie! According to her website, the town of Forks has been visited and the movie has been added to the IMDB.

The only role that has been cast (that is common knowledge) is Kristen Stewart. She'll play our favorite damsel in distress, Bella Swan.

UPDATE: Harry Potter's own Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) has been cast for Edward!

As I said on the other thread, it would be better if the actor who'll play Edward is someone we don't know. If it isn't then there'll be many people who'll be angry because their favourite actor wasn't cast or because they don't like the way that one performs, etc, etc.

Edward has always looked a looked a little bit like Hayden in my own head. He's just got the look for me, too. Pretty Hayden. Mmmm Vader...

But, I'm hoping for a new face. Someone I don't know.. because.. after this movie they'll forever BE Edward.

I just hope they don't go too crazy with the "Copper" hair. haha

I read on the internet. A friend in a twilight yahoo group mentioned him and we all thought he looked perfect!! *spazzes* He is very close to the idea of Edward that I had in my head.

I'm looking forward to the casting of Jasper, too. In my head, he's all KINDS of hot. And.. with him being from Texas... I sure hope he's got a southern accent.


Actually, Emmet and Alice both should have southern accents too. I bet they won't for the film though. Sigh.
