Well I haven't seen a thread on this, so I decided to start one. I was just wondering if anyone else but me liked Moulin Rouge?
I absoloutely love this movie! Nicole Kidman is my favourite actress and Ewan McGregor is such a good singer! They both are, and considering that neither of them are singers, they did exceptionally well!
Also, the film is just so visually powerful! It's one of the few films that I can sit through until the early hours of the morning without getting tired.
I love Moulin Rouge. It's one of my all-time favorite films. I could watch it over and over, and I don't even particularly like musicals. The music is great. It's one of my favorite movie soundtracks. I like how they incorporated well-known songs with the original ones. Both Nicole and Ewan have great voices. I was especially blown away by Ewan. I agree that the visuals are stunning. I'm just curious. What are your favorite songs from the film?
I adore Moulin Rouge, I think it's the best movie ever! Its concept is genius and the actors are brilliant. Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and Jim Broadbent (Slughorn! ) are superb singers too! I can go on about this movie for days and days, so I'll spare you guys the lecture and will end with this:
I had such a huge obsession over Ewan when I watched it, and me and my friends WORSHIP Nicole now. Her red hair looks so rich against her skin. The story was so unique and inspiring and I can totally tell where Panic! At the Disco was inspired from.
