^ After seeing tonights show (which seemed like it lasted 15 minutes) they showed the thing for next weeks show and they are going to focus on the metal thingy on the ground. Tonights episode was pretty good... I just wonder about that airplane Kate has.

name)? and whas Shannon the one who apparently got captured by the monster?. This show is getting more twists than i even though possible. I Love it!!

His name is Boone. Wait, one thing I'm confused about the previews. Why does Boone want Sayid to stay away from Shannon? I mean, all she's doing is helping him translate the French. That can't be so bad. Gosh, even though Boone is really hot, when I saw him last night, looking at Shannon and Sayid with such hatred, I thought he was going to come out and murder Sayid right there, on the spot. And yeah, Kate's airplane. I think the guy she shot in the flashback might be the guy she killed, but then again...wait, no that wouldn't add up then. Who exactly did she kill?

Charlie centric episode coming up? OMG. OMG. OMG. I cannot wait. I love him... I just wish they'd focused more on him this episode. It really bothers me how little attention is being paid to the Claire/Ethan plot line. Is she alive or is she dead??

There definitely seems to be more to Sayid/Shannon then just her helping him translate... there was some lingering looks, and the fact that she got off her duff for anyone at all hints at some emotion. It'll probably develop into a bit more of a romance, which Boone doesn't like... being the annoyingly overprotective brother that he is.

I can't see Kate being bad enough to actually kill someone. I think her actions (or inactions) inadvertantly caused someone to die. A relative perhaps? I'm thinking maybe even a son... who else would have a tiny model airplane?

The actor who plays him said we can expect a Hurley flashback at some point in February... I hope so!

Ah, thanks for the help. I couldn't understand why. I mean, I did see Shannon and Sayid's looks at each other, but I didn't actually think they would get together. I mean, it was TOTALLY unexpected! But, I also hope that Jack and Kate can patch things up.

Well, I have finally found this thread! I got into Lost a little late because I was always working Wednesday nights. *stupid work grumble grumble* I have to say Charlie and Locke are my favourite characters so far! But I do love Jack too!! *Charlie is just HOT!!*

As for all the theories, I have read that article in EW as well. I also read something about it in the TV Guide. They said most people agree that the show is a borderline X-Files kind of show. They went through the dead theory and the other planet theory too. I have to say I agree most on the Government Secret theory. I think that the plane was blown off course to land on this island with a lot of freaky people running around that you don't know anything about. They have "monsters" and bears. The monsters could be Top Secret animal weapons or something. I could go off for days about the theories that this show has created! But this theory is what I think is the most "plausible".

I think the theory that I've heard that I agree with most is that the island makes dreams come true... not just good dreams, but bad as well. The polar bear was shown in a comic book only minutes before it really appeared. Jack sees his dad. Charlie says "I'm a rock god" and the cave in happens. Claire dreams of being attacked and it really happens... it makes sense.

Ohh...yeah, I agree with Siriusly In Love's theory. That it is an island that grants their wishes!!

Good discusions. As for Shannon and Sayid... Well I love Sayid too much and I really really don't like her.... Mmmm well weird. Ok this comment is not meant for anything bad or something but Shannon and Boone are American and maybe Boone is racist or something and doesn't like Iraqis like Sayid... But who wouldn't like Sayid? But, Shannon, I didn't like her in the beginning, but I've started to like her more now. She's not that bad actually. I like Shannon... she was annoying in the beginning, but I've warmed to her. If the monster kills her, I'll miss her sarcasim. I definitely wouldn't mourn Jack or Kate, though. They're so annoying!

Ok so I was wondering how you guys liked tonights episode?

We know Locke is officially of his rocker.... We saw the weird monster thingy either come out of the ground (maybe something to do with the metal door), or pull up a tree. To me it sounded like a dinosaur but I don't buy into the dinosaur theory.

What strikes me wierd is Boone saw the monster (well didn't see it but you know what I mean) while he was hallucinating.... Mmmm.... We also saw a funny moment with Hurley... *giggles* Another funny moment like when Charlie was trying to catch a fish.
Something else that bothers me is that no one seems to care that Claire is missing and no one is giving an effort to find her.

And no comment on the thing with Shannon with Boone.... *gag*

Oh and on next weeks episode... yet another polar bear!

I really Agree! I didnt hear when Boone was in the police station and said that they werent really brother and sister, It kinda....ya you know what I mean. lol. I almost died when I thought Shannon was dead, I swear! I think Locke knows something. How on earth would he know to do something like that to Boone (unless its like a simple thing) but really! At first when he came back, and we saw Shanon again, I was like "WTF! Is there Doubles!?" Hehe. Know im wondering, What if Locke had something to do with Claires disapearance or something. Or maybe even the plane crash? What do you guys think?

Locke was on the plane I think because I saw him on the pilot episode. Also something interesting... I was reading on the Lost message boards that Shannon said her feet was bigger...? Right? I thought I heard her feet were shrinking but if I heard wrong someone said she might be pregnant... Tis gross!

I wonder about that stuff Locke put on Boone's head... How does Locke know about that kind of medicine type stuff and why would he be telling Boone that it was time to let go? Ah the suspence!

My personal theroy is that they are all either dead, or in a coma. I more like the coma theoy though. I think that their all on an isand either at Sydney or off the coast of Sydney and their all hooked up to a large machine. I think their being used as test subjects, like small mice trapped in a snowglobe where people can poke and prode their minds as much as they like.
