According to This is Dorset, Harry Potter stars Dame Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall will be appearing in a new film together entitled, From Time To Time, which follows the story of a young boy uncovering the truth about his family's past.

FILM STAR Dame Maggie Smith will be shooting her latest feature in Dorset.

The Oscar, Emmy and BAFTA-winning actress will be starring in a film written by Dorset's Julian Fellowes.

Fellowes - another Oscar-winner - made his name with Gosford Park in 2001 and has chosen to shoot his latest project at Athelhampton House, near Puddletown.

Mr Cooke said: "We've had film crews here in the past, but nothing quite like this. It's really good for the profile of the area and we're looking forward to it."

Julian Fellowes will be sitting in the director's chair for this latest project From Time To Time.

The film, based on a series of books called The Children of Green Knowe, tells the story of a boy's journey through time to discover his family's dramatic and mysterious past.

Thirteen-year-old Tolly Oldknow is sent to spend Christmas with his grandmother, far from wartime London, where he finds history comes alive. He is able to witness events during the Napoleonic Wars, and begins to unravel a mystery that has bewildered his family for two centuries.

Starring with Maggie Smith is Timothy Spall - best known for his role in Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban and Mike Leigh's Secrets And Lies.

Hope this is where to discuss rumors and what-not and I also I hope this hasn't been discussed on here yet, if so I apologize.... Here's what I've heard:

McG is related to Lucius Malfoy. He is a cousin of hers once removed. She's Rodolphus Lestrange's aunt.

Not sure if this is true. Anyone know? I found said information awhile back while browsing various HP forums and I can't remember where it was I saw it. I have no idea where the person that said it got that information from.

Then I read somewhere that in the movie version of Sorceror's Stone when Harry checks the plaque to see his father's name on the quidditch team as a Seeker, one of the other names on that plaque is I *think* M.K. McGonagall. I know the last name and first initial is correct, I may be wrong about that 'K' though.

Soooo, this could imply that McG had a kid that went to school in the same era as the Marauders, and played quidditch with Harry's dad! **awwww McGonagall mommie! Cute!!* Buuut, that brings up a few things to ponder:

A.) who's her kid?
B.) is said kid still alive?
C.) who'd she marry (um, *if* she married)?

Hmmmm....

I don't know but maybe she was married and had a kid and then both her husband and kid died which is why she is so strict coz she suffered sadness earlier but then she loves all her students because they remind her or somthin.....

I think she had kind parents, but she always loved rules, and soon she began to realise she could enforce them so she started enforcing them at home
