Fifth Year |  Minerva Halloween Ficlet Contest! *snortles*
In the spirit of Halloween, we here at the Minerva McGonagall Fan Club have a treat for you- a holiday ficlet contest! Writing ficlets, drabbles, etc, has always been a fun part of SnitchSeeker. We get to take what Jo has given us and create our own wacky stories  here is your challenge:
Write a Halloween -themed ficlet of which our own Minerva is the star. The entries will be judged by our MMFC co-president, Becky (aka Becky). The winning entry will be circulated throughout SS, as PMs, as UNs...or wherever us shifty folks want  You'll be famous!
Rules:
-all ficlets must be 200 words max
-all ficlets must be PMd to Becky no later than Saturday, November 22.
-anyone is eligible to enter!...if you're a member of the MMFC So join if you haven't 
-Have fun!
PM me, FoxFire, or Becky if you have any questions. You're also welcome to post here

Ok. It's closed!! and our winner is marfamarfa with her following debut entry: Minerva strode purposely towards her classroom to begin her preparations for today’s Transfiguration lessons. As she opened the door, a strange sight met her eyes. Her room was completely covered in cobwebs! Spiders dangled down from the ceiling, and live bats fluttered overhead, the sharp cries of their radar echoing harshly in the stone room. A ghoul moaned eerily from one corner, and she could swear she heard the noises of a boggart coming from the cupboard near her desk. “What is all this?” she cried aloud in surprise. At once, a wild assortment of students dressed in all manner of costumes popped out from underneath the desks. “Happy Halloween, Professor!” they all shouted as they approached her, carrying a full bag in their arms. Each student came up and left a small treat in the pile that kept growing and growing on top of her desk. There were cupcakes and candies, bubble gum and lollies, every flavour beans, toffee, nd much more. With tears in her eyes, Minerva surveyed the classroom, beaming happily. “Thank you all.” she managed, and keeping in the spirit of Halloween, hung a spider from the tip of her black hat.
