Hidden in the higher mountains of Wales, unplottable and rumored to be located somewhere within Snowdonia, is the Welsh Dragon Reserve. Established centuries ago, this reserve is home to the native Common Green Welsh, it’s most kept dragon, though over the years other breeds of dragons have been added by the dragonologist tasked with caring for and studying these dangerous beasts. The mountains are snow capped and many of its inhabitants are tucked away hibernating, herds of feral goats can be found trekking some of the lower mountain ranges, and the dragons are easily spotted by those within the preservation's perimeters.

Ms. Raphael and her team pulled some mighty hefty strings at both the reserve and the British ministry to arrange this date. Supervising dragon keeper Brendan North waits at the command station on the bottom of a mountainside for the daring adventures, ready to brief them on what not to do while in the reserve, and to give them two backpacks full of the necessary supplies for the date. While the dragon keeper isn’t accompanying the pair on their journey, they won’t be alone on this hike. The trail he leads them to has been lined with a plethora protective charms and wards specific to the protection from dragons; dragon keepers can also be spotted keeping watch over the fixed couple from a distance every so often.

The trail that leads up the mountain is well worn, passing streams, running through wooded and open mountain side. The melodious roar of the Welsh Green can occasionally be heard echoing across the mountain before the final destination is reached. It doesn’t take long to reach the rocky ledge where the backpacks can be unloaded to find a blanket for sitting, Omnioculars, and a magical camera for documentation of this wonderful date. Good luck spotting a dragon or two, but even if none are spotted, at least fun was had!

-Absolutely no feeding or interacting with any of the creatures
-Under no circumstance are you to wander off the beaten trail
-Please no disposing of personal belongings while in the mountains
-Send sparks into the air should danger befall you or your partner

Sky was nervous as heck what if she made a complete fool of herself. What if she rambled, she tended to do that everytime she got nervous! As she walked to the command center of the Welsh Dragon Reserve. As she got there she started thinking about her date, Would he be weird?Funny?Charming?Work-a-holic? She honestly didnt care what he looked like. She hoped he wasnt the kinds of dates that freak out once they figure out what job she has or becomes a stalker after the first date. She knew his name was Jack Hart but it wasnt like he was going to be wearing a big name tag saying Hi! I'm Jack Hart! She chuckled at her thought and fiddled with her necklace, another habit of hers...

He didn't know what made him send in one of those applications, but as he had passed that shop in Diagon Alley, something made him backtrack to it. Jack Hart was by no means a serious dater, but thought it'd be fun to see just who this Ms. Raphael paired him with. Quite frankily, he was already enjoying his date way too much. Dragon watching? For real? Well if Ms. Raphael insisted...

Walking towards the command station, not being able to resist a little jiggy move every now and then, what with the snowy and icy grounds making it perfect and easy to do, Jack finally began to walk normal once the station came into sight. Don't want to look like an idiot already. Besides, there was some pretty bird standing there. Practically the only person. Bugger. Was he late? "Hello." he smiled, adjusting his leather jacket. "Not late, am I?"

Who was she?

Sky looked up and smiled and said Hi, no right on time.I'm Sky Nightingale. She hadnt expected the application to actually work, but already the two had something in common, leather jackets. She was happy she wore what she wanted to wear instead of what her mom and sister were trying to force her to wear I guess they didnt understand she was going dragon watching you didnt wear a dress and heels to dragon watching.

Sky Nightingale. Now there was something familiar. Yes, it was all coming back to him now. "Good, good." he nodded before holding out his hand to shake hers. "A pleasure to meet you. Jack Hart." Probably got the best date out of everyone who had applied. It was a fact.

Right. From what he's noticed so far...was actually close to nothing, except for Sky. He took a quick chance to take a look around. There was a big mountain, the command center, some fellow he wasn't quite fond of already, and lots of nature. Right. "Suppose we shouldn't keep the good man waiting."

Jack swore the man was giving them the stink eye.

Jack Hart, nice name.
Sky took her eyes off of Jack to look around she hadnt done that yet everything was so pretty...Full of nature. One man stood out, he looked like we had just ruined his day by us coming here to see the dragons. His expression was horrible he had frown lines to go with his unbecoming frown. He was a short bald man, who kept looking down at his clock every twenty seconds like we were late.
She started walking towards the man.He looked as if he would fall over for some odd reason...

Falling into step beside Sky, he huddled his hands in the pockets of his jacket as his necklace bounced around in front of him after each step. Someone was obviously impatient, though from where he currently stood, the man's watch looked rather nice. Shiny.

With a sudden thought popped up into his mind, he had a hard time trying to contain his grin as he reached out to gently grab Sky's arm and pull her back a little, making them both walk at a very...very...slow pace. If there was ever a time he could feel someone's glare, it was now. Might as well draw out the fun of all of this. "I quite enjoy this nature, don't you?"

Had this certain fun quality about it.

Sky giggled as she was pulled back and matched Jack's pace. Smiling she anwsered Yes, its quite lovely. Vines were growing on the walls of the command center, tall green trees surronded the area, it was like they were in their own little forest, well minus the fact that there were dragons...

The man's face started turning a deep red color. He must have been very impatient because he started walking towards them, she noticed why he had looked like he would fall over. In place of where his left leg should have been was a wooden leg... I guess those were the dangers of working with dragons, no eyebrows, less limbs, and maybe a less life span.

Nature was one thing, and it was indeed quite pretty, but that man's face was as red as a tomato! Lookit it! 'Bout ready to pop, wasn't it. "Hello sir!" he greeted quite cheerfully with a half wave as enthusiastic as his greeting, before he stuffed his hand back into the warm pocket of his jacket.

All the grumbling the man was doing was making it hard for Jack to pay attention, and his mind wandered. What he got from the speech though was that they were supposed to stay on the protective path all the way up to the top no matter what, to not engage with any wildlife, something about fireworks...

That man's watch was so SHINY. Did he have charms on it?

But boy did he talk. Running a hand through his black hair, Jack side glanced to Sky before interrupting. "Yes, sir!" He gave the bald man a salute. "I think we got all of that. Thank you." Grabbing the two back packs, he grinned and started towards the path, regardless of last minute rules being shouted out.

Yes. Yes of course. YES SIR. Good Merlin. The man was like his mother!

The man started shouting out rules Absolutely no feeding the creatures. Honestly Sky started getting a bit overwhelmed so many rooms, she was used to there being rules but this many. I think everyone knew not to go near flame breathing dragons or touch anything that could harm them. Getting bored after three of the rules she started looking at his apperance, he kinda looked like a bum, cotten holey jacket, slightly burned jeans, burned and torn shirt and worn out shoes. The dragon watching was sounding better by the minute. Wow he may not have known how to change clothes but he knew how to talk. Right after Jack had interupted the man and grabbed the packs she said Thanks, sir.Smiling as Jack and her could finally start their date.

She started after Jack ready to see some dragons and get to know this black haired man!

Grinning and having a little bounce in his step, his hazel eyes full of mischief, he looked towards Sky as he continued on towards the path, glancing over his shoulder after a moment to the bald man. Yup, still as red as a tomato. A cherry tomato at that.

Chuckling to himself, he adjusted the bags over both shoulders and took a big whiff of the fresh air. "Well that was fun." he beamed, turning his attention over to the beautiful lady that was his date. It seemed he was quite a bit taller than her. "So, Miss Sky Nightingale. Pretty name." It was unique. Don't meet many Sky's. He liked that.

Sky smiled and couldnt help but laugh as Jack said "Well that was fun." She closed her eyes and took in a breath. It smelled like nature...and burned wood.
She blushed at the compliment and said Thank you. She hadnt gotten a lot of compliments about her name. She said So, what exactly made you enter for a blind date. Dont you get lots of women asking you out.
Yes, Sky was a curious flirty lady!

Aw there was the question. THE question. He smiled and shook his head as it hung a little. "Honestly?" he asked, peaking at her out of the corner of his eyes, still all full of mischief, but it was dwindling step by step. "I kinda move around a lot."

Alright, maybe he wasn't being all that honest, but no one else knew that. With a shrug of his shoulders, he moved so he was walking backwards, able to talk to her properly now. "The dates I have been on though, well, it's good to know at least with this one, I'll have at least one thing in common with my date." They got that leather jacket idea down pat already.

"What about you? Surely you have the guys lined up waiting for a chance."

Sky chuckled and asked Move around a lot? Why do you move around so much?
She kicked a pebble into the forest and heard something move in the shrubs and bushes. Looking up at him she smiled, she hadnt had a date with someone that shared her intrest in leather jackets, she was glad she found one. She had to think a bit for his question and anwsered Im busy usually and they cant accept that...

Of course, there was more than just that but that was the major one...

"I...move money around." he said, hesitating just the slightest, but it was all grins from then on. Dirty work, but someone had to do it. Paying no mind to the noise in the bushes, since like that bold tomato man said, this place was all protected and stuff, he tried to figure out just what kind of work Sky did, but her description left open too many doors.

Busy. Well, that was nice. "What kind of work do you do?"

Sky's face was covered in a big grin. The dirty work, that must be a fun job. As they continued walking a breath of fire went into the horizon, it left the sky looking like a burnt blue. Smiling she said I work in the Ministry...As a Hit Wizard. Yeap real good couple- guy that did the dirty work and hit wizard. A bunny ran across the path under Jack's feet but when it got to the edge of the path, it turned and its face was covered in ash...Looks like they were getting close.

Oh! Would you lookit that flame? They were getting close.

"A hit wizard." he repeated, eyebrows raising. It was just one surprise after another as he noticed something fast and white out of the corner of his eyes, yet what his brain registered, his feet didn't. Stumbling and hopping around to get out of the bunny's path, he went back to walking forward for fear of falling backwards. The bunny's face was enough to keep the scowl down though. They must be really close then. Or the dragons were just getting closer to them.

Adjusting the bags, he shrugged off tripping around. "That's cool. How long have you been a hit wizard?"

Sky smirked and said Almost two years now. All of a suden a birst of fire was coming at them, but thank goodness for the deflectors or they would have been burnt toast...Probablly yummy toast though... She chuckled and said For a minute there I thought we were going to be toast. But then I remembered the protection spells and stuff. Do you have a favorite dragon? She moved a blonde strand of hair out of her face.
