The ballroom is exceptionally elegant. Save for an old fashioned gramophone in the corner, the room is void of furniture. The golden paint covering the ornate ceiling and molding sparkles in the light of the chandelier hanging from the center. Light pours in in purples and reds and blues through the stained glass windows.

Can’t dance? Never fear, you and your date are alone in the room, although a skilled instructor is available if necessary. Once you finish with your dancing, there is a delicious dinner being served through the ornate doors at the end of the room.

Heather walked into the ballroom and sighed in relief just a little. She was alone and had at least a moment to pull herself together and keep from skipping out on this. She was nervous and began fidgeting ever so slightly. Her blonde hair was pulled back in an elegant knot at the nape of her neck and her eye roamed the floor. She wasn't big on dancing, but that didn't mean she wouldn't at least make an effort. Her gaze moved to the windows and she found her point of focus. Breathe, just breathe.

Fashionably late? Not really. Well.. barely, and it had nothing to do with fashion. Which Viktor knew absolutely nothing about; His baby sister helped dress him for the occasion. The lateness was caused by Hudson, a four-year-old with quite the imagination. Nevermind that, though. He was here, and that's all that mattered. Unless his date was angry, and in that case.. uh-oh?

Resisting the urge to run his hand through his short dark curls, Viktor Brown entered the rather fancy room, hazel eyes falling on the lone young woman almost immediately, and Viktor realized it was a darn good thing his mom was his mom, and he had attended Beauxbatons during his childhood. Otherwise, the chances of him knowing how to dance were slim to none. Even now, he would be rusty. It had been years since he'd danced.. but this was the location ~~Madame Pompom~~ Madame Juliet had given, and as there was only one other being in the room, he felt confident he was at the right place.

"Madame," Viktor greeted the blonde woman, pulling his hand from behind his back as he approached, revealing a single red rose that he offered to her. "I believe I'm your date?"

Heather was getting a little worried as the time ticked on since her arrival. Maybe this Madam Juliet had given her the wrong place for the wrong date. Just as she was bout the set her heart on leaving she heard a set of foot steps that weren't her own or the instructors. She turned just in time to finally see her date.

Maybe she was wrong. He was handsome and as he offered her the red rose she bit on her bottom lip in a small fit of nervousness. She took the flower and smiled. "I believe so, unless you are here for the instructor," she teased. She extended the hand not holding the rose. "Heather Malfoy," inexperienced dancer at your service. At leas, that's how she wanted to finish her introduction.
