Ok this is my first RP. I participate in a lot of them, but this is my first one




Plot: The setting is the Ipswich Colony in the New World. It is February 1692. The pilgrims from England, Germany and the Netherlands have landed on Plymouth rock and set up their homes in the new world. Mixed in with the
common muggles are witches and wizards looking for new adventures in the new world. They have come along with the muggles to make a new life for themselves. The witches and wizards have chosen to live along side the muggles for the first time. One day a witch is spotted using magic and that is where the the trouble starts. There will be some deaths in this plot. So be prepared for that.

Starting Point: I want to start this a few days before the incident to give everyone's characters a chance to interact.

Characters: I would prefer that you only have on character but if you feel that you can keep up with two of them by all means. Please be mindful of the time frame when you think of your characters and their names. Also please understand not everyone can be a witch or a wizard. Some will have to be a muggle. Please understand also the time period and what these simple people have at their disposal, so no one is super rich or anything like that. Go to the link up above and read up on this time period.

Name: Rose Mathews

Type: muggle

Job: she owns the Tavern! Pull up a chair and tuck in for some homemade meat pie and a tanked of mead! And she is one of the local magistrates

History: In England her father was a merchant bringing in fine silks and linens from the Orient, when the business practically ran itself he got into politics and helped England usher in a new era free from the monarch. Her mother was a seamstress. Her husband was a local policeman was arrested for hearsay against the Church and he was hanged, she gathered up all her money and bought passage to the new world to make a new life for herself

Personality: she is a quiet woman, but when she speaks people listen. She is a very hard woman that doesn't take to frivolousness. She doesn't spend her days gossiping with the local woman, and has been a widower for 4 years now.

Appearance: she has long dirty blond hair that she keeps in a tight bun with a few ringlets around her face. She is a small woman with a thin waist and hips. She has a soft round face with a little pudgy nose and bright blue eyes. She is of average height for a woman. She has soft hands and gentle touch, when she doesn't have to throw someone out of the Tavern

NAME: Jasper Moses

TYPE: Muggle

JOB: Blacksmith

HISTORY:
Jasper grew up in a small village in England, the son of a hard working blacksmith. Where he learned his trade from his father. As the only smithy in town his father had plenty of business to care for his family . While his mother spent her days caring for their children Jasper, his older brother Edward. And her garden. In 1688 Jasper’s father fell ill with smallpox and although he survived, Barely, His father lost his sight, causing him to retire and pass the business on to his eldest son Edward. At which point Jasper decided to venture out to the new world to start a life of his own. Taking the family trade with him. He traveled to the new at the age of 17 and is now in his early to mid 20's

PERSONALITY:
Jasper is a pretty friendly man. The kind everyone in town knows. He is a very hard worker. And is kind hearted to everyone in the town be it the elders, men. Women, or the town children. At the end of long days he like most towns men can be found at Roses tavern with a tankard of mead.

APPEARANCE:
Jasper has sandy colored hair that hangs several inches past his ears he most always has it pulled back in low ponytail out the way of work. He has soft bluish green eyes. And coarse hands from years of smithing.

Name: Joseph Dalton

Type: Muggle

Job: Carpenter and serves as the Town’s Notary. Associate Magistrate.

History: After the death of his father, William Dalton, Joseph took over his father’s profession as a carpenter, he’d been an apprentice for many years. His older brother James decided to make a journey of his own, and left town two years ago, while his sister, Marianne Dalton, died about four years ago, mysteriously. He’s the only Dalton left in care of his mother, Margaret.

Personality: Joseph is a very well adjusted man, who tends to work hard, therefore, takes his job seriously. He knows how to adapt but becomes a little impatient when things take a lot of time to blossom. He’s determined to put an end to every mysterious event, since the death of his sister, and is very religious. He has a natural talent for a carpenter, and is able to make quick decisions when the Town is involved.

Name: Isabelle Caldwell

Type: Witch

Job: None, but sews as a hobby.

History: The Caldwells family history goes back in time, they’re not rich, but very respected amongst the Community for the hard work and time their family members devote to make a better Town. Isabelle doesn’t share some points of view with her family, which is why she seeks for some higher power, and eventually uses it.

Personality: Isabelle is one that cares for her condition and looks, she makes her life as comfortable as possible and pursues her beliefs. She seems very kind but it’s just common courtesy, she doesn’t trusts in people easily and tends to be stubborn. Ever since she discovered her gift, she thinks of herself as special, but worries about what could happen if anyone finds out, a worry that seems to be constantly in her mind.

Name:Scarlett Winchurch
Type: Witch
Job: Scarlett works in her mothers shop ,its a dress shop,although she works on a farm somtimes to help the community,and sometimes does things for the church
History:Scarlett lives in a small cottage in the middle of the town.Her family arnt very rich,even though her mother makes and sells dresses,her mother believes that you shouldnt have to pay alot of money to look nice in a pretty dress,so she doesnt charge much for the dresses.Her father is away with his busniess,and he hasnt been back for a number of months,Scarlett misses him very very much.Scarlett is only 19 years of age and she inherited the powers from her mother,despite her father not knowing about any of the powers his wife and daughter have.Scarlett had an older brother,but he contracted Scarlett Fever,and died.
Personality:Scarlett is a very nice gentle girl,she has a heart of gold and she believes in justice and doing thngs fairly and doing it for the right reasons.She speaks up,and doesnt let the bad things go unnoticed.She has a very lively spirit and if someone is stuck or needs something doing she will always vollenteer.When she has her mind set on something,she goes for it and nothing gets in her way.
Appearance:
Scarlett gets her figure from her mother,tall thin and curves in all the right places.She has long long brown hair and crystal blue eyes,just like her mother.She has rather straight teeth,for someone who doesnt normally go to the dentist.She has tiny little noise,and she has long legs.
Powers:She inherited them from her mother,she can move things with her mind.

Tisha: I agree, I've never seen a plot like this before! It's amazing.

Name: Hester Von Schratz

Type: Muggle

Job: She is a baker by trade, working in a local pie shop

History: Hester originates from Germany, coming over to America with a hope of building a new life. She is from a very respectable though not wealthy family in Europe. From the time she was a young girl she showed a real talent for baking and began to make pies and cakes for others for a little extra money, saving up enough money for her passage across the Atlantic

Personality: Fiercely loyal and stubborn, Hester will stick by you till the end if she believes in you and can be the best friend you've ever had. Usually has a smile on her face, as she tries to keep a positive outlook at all times in spite of things.

Appearance: Very long blonde hair, blue eyes, slim build.

History: Sarah lives in a small cottage on the outskirts of town, she inherited her powers from her grandmother and she lives a quiet life.
Personality: Sweet and kind, attractive to her customers. Sarah does have a weakness for flying at night.

IC: The sunlight streamed through her bedroom window. Rose turned over in her head and pushed herself up to a sitting position. It had been a long night last night. She had to through out a couple of rowdy tanners from Salem. It had gotten pretty rough and she still had a small bruise on her shoulder from the rough shove she had received. She climbed out of bed and walked over to her window and pulled the curtains all the way back so the light lite up her entire room. She still had on her dressing gown as she made her way from her bedroom to the kitchen. She picked up her kettle and her basket and walked outside to her well to get some water to make herself some coffee.

She made a detour through her garden to pick some chives and tomatoes for her breakfast. The birds were chirping, it was going to be a beautiful day. The wind gently tossed her hair around her face. Normally she kept her hair up as only young unmarried women wore their hair down, but it was early in the morning and no one was awake save the farmers and maybe the blacksmith. She picked up two ripe tomatoes and a few sprigs of chives and put them in her basket. She gave her well a few good pumps and then opened up the valve and let the fresh cool water fill up her kettle before she walked back into her house. The wood floors were warm under her feet. She padded over to her kitchen counter and put down her basket and kettle. She lit the fire over her stove before she added a few scopes of her coffee and put the kettle on the stove to wait for her coffee.

It was going to be a long day.

The started out the same as many other days, the sun had barely begun to rise when Jasper Moses day began. He climbed out of bed and changed from his night shirt into a linen shirt and breeches. He fastened his waistcoat and put on his shoes as the sun just began to peek over the horizon. He picked up his broad brimmed hat and made his way out of his house on his way to his shop near the square. He picked an apple off the tree in his yard for breakfast on his way to work. The day was still early most of the town folk were still tucked away in bed. Upon reaching his shop Jasper pulled the heavy wooden door open and entered.

Jasper hung his cloak and hat in the corner; it was going to be a busy day. He crossed the dirt floor of his shop and shoveled some coal into the huge brick hearth to get the flames to the proper degree for bending metal. He shoveled more coals into the hearth.

Scarlett had been awake for quite some time now,she hadnt got much sleep,she couldnt,she'd been having these aweful nightmares of her father and she couldnt bare it,so she decided not to go to sleep at all,therefore she couldnt have the nightmares.She walked over to the window,and sighed.The birds were out and the sun was shining.Scarlett changed out of her night gown and into her tight corset dress her mother had made specially for her birthday,which was two days ago.She turned aruond to cook her mother some breakfast and tea,and then go out to the farm.Not before long,she was walking down to the farm,which her grandfather had left them and she needed to feed the livestock he kept.She had a favorite,his treasured horse.Bella.She was beautiful,long dark black hair,sweet main and very dark loyal eyes.She walked over to her,and she thought that she needed to get some more horse shoes for her.She nodded,and decided to take her for a stroll down to the town to get some.Putting her rains on and walking down the cobbled street,she got the the blacksmith shop.She tied Bella up and walked to the door,and knocked.
