Nik narrowed his eyes once more as Adam continued to argue with him. "Oh shut up," Nik growled, folding his arms across his chest. "Fine. If you want to stay here alone and wallow in your misery then I'll go by myself."

Nik turned and stepped over the other boys things, making his way to the door. He stopped and turned back, when he heard a rapping on the wall. Shrugging, he poked his head out of the doorway, catching sight of a girl [ Saint Oscar ] leaving the girls room. He stepped out and made his way to the room next door. "Can't sleep?" He asked the girl [ Saint Oscar ], raising an eyebrow. Pushing past her after a moment, he leaned into the girls room, glancing around the room.

"You called?" Nik asked Janice, who was still in bed yet sitting up. "Your knocking awoke me from a deep sleep," he gave a frown. "I don't appreciate that."

Janice refrained from sighing again as she shifted slightly, lowering herself back onto the bed in an attempt for further sleep. She did not get far, however, when she noticed yet another girl leave the room. What was up with that? Couldn't they stay in one place?

Now sitting back up, she glanced over to the doorway of the room, watching as Nik peered inside.

"If you were in such a deep sleep, I doubt my brief knock would have awoken you. It certainly didn't seem to awaken the others." She answered, glancing around at the other beds as though to illustrate her point.

"Plus, I would think that it was the guys in your room who woke you up. They were talking in a tone a bit more than a whisper."

Yes, she was being sarcastic, but being without sleep made her cranky.

Nik leaned against the doorway, a smirk forming on his face. "Relax," he told her, drawing out the word. "I was just being sarcastic," he added pointedly, shaking his head. When she mentioned the other guys might have woken him up, Nik shrugged. "Well, if you do know Adam..." He trailed off, glancing back at her to see if she knew him or not. "He's a troublemaker alright. Always waking me up," Nik shrugged again.

Nik took a glance behind him, over to the girl that seemed to just stand there. Why in the world would she get up just to stand outside the room? "Hang on..." Nik trailed off, narrowing his eyes. "Are you sure you went to my school? Who are you, anyway?"

Janice crossed her legs Indian style while passing a hand through her hair as she looked over in Nik's direction. Figures. She didn't really know if he was one of the boys she heard, or it was someone else, but regardless, she was now awake.

"Yes." She answered as he trailed off after speaking Adam's name, as though silently questioning if she knew him. She did. Somewhat. "Unfortunate, though I don't think that many of us are getting that great of a sleep anyway." She recalled two of girls that had slipped out already. Where could they be going at three in the morning?

"Yeah, sure I'm the trouble-maker Nikky!" Adam proclaimed sarcastically. "You're the one that's always complaining like a pampered little princess!" He called out from his bed. Adam could never back down from an arguement with anyone, especially not Nikolas, he just had a naturally short temper.

He lent over the side of his bed to find his rucksack, he rummaged around inside and produced a bar of chocolate. A grin crept onto Adam's face as he snuggled back into his bed and opened the wrapper, no sneaking around the boat for him, he'd brought supplies!

Herculeah rolled over restlessly in her bed, trying to block out the noise. What was that noise?! She flipped over on her stomach and covered her pillow over her head. She moaned a muffled moan, hoping it would drown out the voices of who ever was talking, but she soon found she couldn't. She gave up.

She sat up, her hair messed up and her eyes slightly puffy red. "Pleeease," she started huskily. "Some of use are trying to sleep!"

Groaning, she slumped back down on her bed, covering herself with the pillow and blanket this time. Didn't Nik, or anyone, get sleepy at this time of night? Or whatever time it already was...

"You never answered my question," Nik pointed out to Janice, about if she went to his school. She did look kind of familier. Perhaps she was the studying-geek type that Nik never bothered to know.

When Adam yelled out insults to Nik through the two rooms, Nik rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. "Of course you are, Chewbacca," Nik shouted back, sticking his head out in the hallway. "At least I'm not the one lying around and whining like a lazy couch potato."

Ouch. That hurt Nik more than it probably hurt Adam. What a weak comeback. Nik turned back to the girls when another girl shouted out. "Oh stop whining. I doubt you'll get any sleep," Nik said back to the girl, frowning.

Janice raised an eyebrow at Niky as he questioned if she had come from the school. Rather than hit him with a sharp retort, she sighed and nodded. "Yes, I am." Better to remain calm and not strike out so early in the game. She knew him, of course, and also the type of personality he possessed. How he didn't know her wasn't surprising, though.

As another boy, who she deemed to be Adam, called out from the other room, Janice held back the chortle that threatened to escape as she heard the two boys begin to bicker. Moments after Nik finished his insult,another girl spoke, causing Janice to look back. Herculeah, she believed was her name.

Refraining from rolling her eyes at Nik's words, Janice sent an apologetic look in her direction. "Sorry. Guess it got all out of hand."

She was almost sure she hadn't moved from her spot, by the door since she exited the room. Frustrasion was readable through out her face, as she tried desperately to remember where the bloody kitchen was.

Running a hand through messy dark curls, she was that the point abandoning the thought of food and just laying hopelessly in her bed. She was about to walk back into the room when she heard a voice, who was clearly speaking to her.

Turning to a boy about her age, she gave him a sleepy smile "No and yourself ?" she asked with a hint of sarcasm. She wasn't trying to sound rude or anything like, but she couldn't help but come off a little rude due to lack of sleep. "Parker and yourself ?" she asked since she had never meet the boy before.

Leah's eyes shot open as Nik spoke again, her face flat on the bed. She swatted the pillow from her head and glared at Nik. "Honestly!" she complained, sitting up. She looked at the other girl, Janice. Then back at Nik. "What do you propose I do, then?" she asked, crossing her arms.

She was tired, and sleepy, and needed rest. Of course, her brothers were way, waaaay rowdier than Nik alone was, but at least they knew when to shut up and leave her in peace. Besides, she didn't have to share a room with anyone.

..Something told her all of this would take some getting used to.

"You are?" Nik opened his eyes a bit wide when Janice *finally* revealed that she did, indeed, go to his school. "Hey, wait," Nik paused, looking thoughtful as his eyes stared at the low ceiling. "Your name starts with an.... L," Nik guessed, then shook his head. "J, I'm positive it starts with J."

Looking over at Parker, Nik gave a half-smile, a bit uncomfortably. She sounded like a robot - barely saying any words. "Yes," Nik said, forgetting what he was saying yes to in the first place. "Er, Nikolas," he added, after a moment. "And yourself?" He couldn't help but add, just to mock her.

Turning to Leah, Nik rolled his eyes at her and made a child-like face. "I propose you sleep in the kitchen," Nik growled at her, sick of her attitude already. They knew each other from the international school, having talked and seen each other regularly. That didn't stop the fact that they really couldn't stand each other. "Or maybe in the cramped closet. You know, someplace that will make you feel at home," he finished, staring at her square in the eye.

David woke up in the room he shared with Adam and Nik groaning.. Why on earth did his mates have to start off the day with a heated argument. Rolling around he sat up and gave Adam a long stare. Yawning David asked "Adam.. What did Nik say or do this time? Your voices were so loud that they could have woken the whole boat." Sitting up in his bed he looked through the door and across the corridor where Nik was chatting with some of the girls. David reached for his trunk and took out some clothes. Knowing his mates and the voices coming from the girls room he knew that he wouldn't get any more sleep.

Leah clutched her pillow and glared at him angrily. "You are so annoying, d'you know that? SO annoying!" she remarked, rolling her eyes and sighing. She ran a hand through her bushy hair, her fingers getting stuck in a few strands. "Maybe I will go somewhere and sleep. Somewhere far away. From you..."

She let out a frustrated huff and turned away from him, staring at the scene out the window as she clutched her knees to her chest. She had known Nik from school, and though they were able to talk a few times, they weren't really on good terms. He always had this attitude that somehow irked her. It usually drove her insane. And it was rotten luck on her part that she had to be stuck with him in this group thing. Of course, from the way he was to her just a while ago, she was certain he'd also rather be elsewhere than here with her.

Adam sat quietly eating his chocolate as Nik whined some more to the girls. He chortled as the boy suggested to Herculeah that she sleep in a closet, that boy was not going to be liked on this trip if he kept going like that. He shook his head with a sigh and turned upon hearing the voice of his friend David.

"Hey Dave..welcome to the land of the living. Nik has decided that as he can't sleep then no-one else should be able to. Stupid little prima donna." The boy told his friend with a sigh. Adam decided there was no chance he'd get anymore sleep now so pulled himself out of bed. He started walking towards the door of the cabin and then looked down to realise he was only wearing his boxers.

"Yeah..clothes might be a good idea I think." He said to David with a laugh. He grabbed his jeans from the floor and pulled them on as he looked around for a shirt. Eventually he saw one peaking out of his rucksack and quickly pulled it on. It was one of his favourite shirts, a sports shirt for one of his favourite muggle teams, Manchester United football club. Adam grinned as he patted down the familiar red jersey.

"Shall we go see what the princess is complaining about now?" He suggested with a roll of his eyes.

David sighed and said looking over at his mate "The land of the living? Nah more like the land of raised voices." He put on a pair of jeans and a red sweater to go over his t-shirt. David stretched his arms and legs while listening to his mates explanation. Glancing sideways he responded "That's Nik in a nutshell. If he can't sleep nobody else can.. Its not something to get worked up over." Tying his shoes he added "Mate, you know that Nik likes to be the center of things and sometimes it goes to his head. Just don't let him get on your nervs. Its a long trip yet." Going over to the mirror David combed through his short black hair. Hearing his mates question he turned around grinning "Yes of course.. What troubles our princess is something that concerns us all. We should definitley go over and offer our help in the matter."

Restlessly turning around on her bed time after time, the sound of people talking seemed to buzz on her ears in a way that she could not ignore. She had never been one to wake up easily but the way the boat moved plus the nerves she was in for being in a whole new place weren't helping her to sleep as deeply as necessary. However, such a thing did not mean that she could distinguish the voices. All that the girl knew was that both males and females were making too much noise and that irked her.

In a matter of seconds, Selena swiftly took the pillow from under her head and threw it towards the door, hoping it had hit someone. 'Can't you people just shut up?' She hissed angrily, her eyes narrowed into slits due to the difficulty she had in keeping them open.

Adam sighed as David commented that he'd just have to deal with Nik..he really didn't want to have to deal with Nik, or see him at all if possible. He yawned suddenly and then grinned sheepishly at his tired state, it was way too early to be up and about.

He chuckled as David also used their nickname for Nik, Princess. He didn't really know how the name had come into play but he really did think it suited Nikolas perfectly.

"Oh princess?!" Adam called out rather loudly. "Are you disturbing the nice girls with your mindless chatter again?" He asked with a wicked grin on his face.

She should have expected this really. There was no way that this many people could get together and expect to get along, especially if their relationship at school hadn't been the best beforehand. She'd just have to grit her teeth and get over it though. She just hoped that it wouldn't compromise their project.

A pillow suddenly flew across her field of vision, and she looked to the right, startled as to the source. She said nothing this time, for the last time she had apologized, it hadn't been taken gratefully.

Janice knew how Selena felt though, but it now seemed unavoidable as to getting any more sleep.

Princess? Janice snickered quietly to herself, knowing that this particular nickname was one that would infuriate Nik to no end.

After giving up her search for the Galley for now, Rose wandered back toward her cabin. and waiting outside she listened quietly to Nik and the otheres within. She poked her head in the door. "Are you guys planning to wake up the whole ship?" She asked in a whisper. "Does anybody know how to get to the Galley?"

"You are so insulting, do you know that?" Nik responded sarcastically, mocking her voice. "How did they pick you for this trip anyway? I doubt you were smart enough to be even considered. Maybe they pulled your name out of the hat and I just got unlucky enough to share this cramped boat with you," Nik sneered at her, trying to rile her up even more.

Nik gave a yelp when something came flying at him. Moving away, he watched as a pillow fell out in the hallway. "Are you trying to kill me?" Nik gave a small screech, looking around for the one who threw the pillow. Staring at Selena, Nik frowned deeply. "Obviously we can't," Nik retorted back. "Leah over there is the one who's ranting like a maniac."

Nik froze when he heard Adam call out again. He had heard mumblings in the boys room moments before, assuming that David or someone else had also gotten up. Now... Princess?!

"Who's the princess?" Nik's face grew a bit red, as he felt his anger flare up. "Shut up Ada," he hollered, before taking a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Nice girls?" He snorted. "Wicked girls. Immoral girls," Nik paused, turning to stare pointedly at Leah.

Nik then turned to look over at Janice again. She was the only one that didn't seem to be riled up by all the arguing. Huh, weird. "What?" Nik asked, before nodding. "Yeah..yeah, how did you know?" He asked her, tilting his head, referring to her knowing his name.

Another voice was heard this time. Jeez, how many people were on this ship anyway? Nik looked over to the new girl, an odd look on his face. Where in the world did she come from? "I think the whole ship is already awake," he told her, a certain annoyed tone to his voice. He wasn't necessarily annoyed with her, just annoyed in general. "The Galley's gone. Blew up. No more food," he then told her, turning back around. He was in no mood for giving directions.

Adam laughed at Nik's reaction to the nickname. He strode out of the cabin and towards the congregation of people that seemed to have appeared in the hallway.

"Now, now Princess..don't deny your name sweetie. Maybe you need some more beauty sleep, you're awfully cranky." He said in a sickly-sweet voice. "And really, is that anyway to treat these lovely young ladies?! You should have some respect." Adam scolded Nik and sent a wink in the direction of the girls as a cheeky smile slipped onto his face.
