Hello everyone I'm Eva and along with Claire (UnicornDragonPatronus) this is our first joint attempt at a hopefully fun rpg thread. This rpg is going to have a Lord of the Rings / Next Generation plot.

In middle earth the free peoples of Rohan, Gondor and Lothlorien have all gone back to their lives after the war against Sauron and his hordes was ended. Frodo Baggins destroying of the one ring started a new era of peace and harmony across the whole of Middle Earth. Even the orchs and uruk-hais have made peace with the free peoples and live in a sort of mutual cease fire treaty all though that is broken now and again since neither orcs or uruk-hais have the best brains.

Peace now reigns over the free countries and people have slowly started to build up their homes and start new families. Edoras have been populated again under the careful hand of Eowyn of Rowan. Even Helms deep has been rebuilt all though grudgy people still say that it will never be the same as it was before the siege. Eowyn and Faramir of Gondor have fallen in love and now rule Rowan together from Edoras. The couple was soon after their marriage blessed with a child they named Theoden after the late ruler.

Aragorn & Arwen moved into the castle of Minas Tirith and was blessed by two lovely twin children about the same time as Eowyn gave birth. Legolas returned to Lothloria where he took up his place as prince of the land dating many women but not finding that perfect someone.

Now about 13 years later there have been several rumours of a new dark power/malice that is stirring in the east. The orcs and uruk-hais have now severely broken the treaty and now the free peoples have to take up their armours to protect their borders once more. The new dark power is said to be a loyal follower to the damned Sauron who was not killed in the war for Middle Earth.

This loyal follower is said to be a woman of great power and mystery. A woman who is so loyal to her dead master that she has awoken a dark/evil magic from ancient times a magic that should never have been released in the first place. Instead of it affecting the adults and old the magic strikes at the children of those who fought against Sauron like men, elves and hobbits.

All the children across middle earth show symptoms of turning into ring wraiths and leaving the land of the living to become souls of the spirit world. This crisis that has no match to anything seen or experienced in the whole of Middle Earth's history even causes Gandalf to come back from the land beyond the seas.

Gandalf believes that the children of wizards & witches are the ones that can save the children of middle earth from becoming lifeless souls. Time is though slipping away. Will the children of the trio and their relatives along with a Malfoy be able to help Middle Earth's children before it is too late?

Rose walked into the classroom. "Geek!" Jack Zabini yelled at her, laughing like some kind of stupid mad hatter. Rose felt her pulse quicken as she stomped over to the now-in-trouble boy. "What did you say?" she snapped banging a fist down at the table. Jack's eyes bulged and he seemed to gasp for air slightly. "N-nothing!" he staggered and Rose glared at him. "That's what I thought!" she spat and glided over to her seat.

The chair was unbalanced but she dared not to even think about rocking in it. Professor Boncoir was the strictest teacher in Hogwarts. Rose bit her lip as she noticed that her cousin, Albus Potter, was missing. He would be in trouble.

RP sample:
Rhea woke with a start. She wasn't even aware of the fact that she had fallen asleep. An owl was tapping at the window. Quickly she she slid them up and let the animal in and untied the letter from his leg.

The animal hooted dolefully. She pet him on the head and gave him an owl treat.
After reading Tori's letter she rummaged around her room for a spare bit of parchment and grabbed her ink and quill. She needed to remember that she should get some new ones for school. After scribbling the note she tied it to the owl and all but threw the poor bird out the window.

"Off you go."

Now to talk to her mom again. She sighed.

Sophia Bellaire bustled about in the kitchen fixing her daughter food for her travel. She had told her to make her own decision but she knew her daughter well, and knew that she would decide to go. She was so much like her father. She tapped the knives with her wand and watched as it sliced the sandwiches she made into squares (thats how Rhea liked them). She would have to go through her trunk and make sure she packed warm clothing and nice shoes and all that. She much more more fussy than her daughter was about those things.

Rhea bounded down the stairs into the kitchen.
"Mummy! I've decided to go. I just have to get to the bottom of this and see why dad left us." She walked up to her mother and hugged her from behind.
"Im not abandoning you too, I just have to know..."

She released her mother and moved to the front of her so she could look her in the eyes.
"I promise to come back to you mummy," she smiled.
"And I might take daddy back with me," she winked and plopped into a chair.

Sophia could feel the tears stinging her eyes when Rhea told her that she had decided to go. She didn't know why she was crying though, because she knew her daughter would have gone regardless. She placed her hands on her daughter's when Rhea hugged her. They were almost on the same height already. She was growing up so fast.
"I know you won't love.." she said softly wiping her eyes.

She wishes that some handsome elf, or human (She isn't picky) Would come and whisk her off to his castle, where they could live happily ever after just like her parents did. She isn't spoiled like a Princess usually is. But she does take her life for granted. She can be emotional, and the emotion increases when she gets sick.
Appearance: Luthien has her mothers beauty. She has long dark hair, bright gray eyes and a slim body. Her beauty seems to be untainted by the human blood in her. Her ears as slanted, like elves should be.
Extra: She absolutely adores her twin brother, she thinks that the sun rises and sets with him. She also adores her father and mother, but in her eyes it is her brother that is the most important being in the world. His opinion means everything to her.

She always puts other people's needs before her own and has been told countless of times by her siblings and father that she should look out for her own interest and not shoulder everyone's burden, since its not possible to get rid of burdens. Telennonwen is kind-heated and she cannot say no or say mean things to anyone, even if they decided to tell them to her. She is very caring and always tends to always be concern with any time of illnesses, whether there minor or major. At first when she found out she was sick she decided to hide it until eventually it was visible to her siblings and friends.
Appearance: Telannonwen has gold hair her face is ovalish shaped, her skin has a fair complexion that glows with a hint of pink, her eyes are green and are always filled with a gentle, sympathetic, warm, and compassionate expression. Her lips are thin but fairly shaped and there is always a warm smile on them. Her hair is long nd thin and always down, although she is sick she still has a small glow.
Extra: Telannonwen loves animals and always takes care of her brother's horses as well as her brother's friends horses.

Well this isn't relevant now, after I read the rules more thoroughly, but if all the Elves and Men get filled this is what I would like to play:
Full name: Elfwine the Fair

Parents: Éomer Éadig of Rohan and Princess Lothíriel
Skills: Excellent Rider, Great Swordsman and Spearman
Background: El is the Prince of Rohan. From an early age he was raised around horses, he easily became one of the best riders in the land. Though, the war against Sauron had ended, his father insisted that he be trained in combat. Not only was he trained by men, but by elves as well. When he turned 18, his father put him in charge of the riders of the Rohirrim. He has always felt he has large shoes to fill and takes his training very seriously. When he found out about the sickness traveling through Middle Earth, he returned closer to home. He would do anything to protect his friends and family.
Personality: El is very serious in nature. He makes decisions based on everything around him and thinks things through. El is usually very quiet and doesn’t say much. However, he is incredibly intelligent and that can sometimes make him seem really arrogant.
Appearance: El took after his mother’s appearance by instead of inheriting golden hair like most Rohirrims. Other than that he looks a lot like his father.

RP Example:

El led a small group of the Rohirrum to intercept a group of Orcs. He alongside Scorpius were in charge of stopping this group from carrying a large shipment of weapons to the Dark One, the follower of Sauron.

“You should take them from the right flank,” El instructed Scorpius as they went over the plan before the attack. Before the two of them was a map. The black blocks represented the Orcs, the red toggles represent Scorpius and his small group and the horse-carved ones represented the Rohirrim. “I’ll have men firing from across the river for two shots, giving you enough time to get into position. Then from the south will hit them full on. If all goes well, they will be confused and won’t organize fast enough to strike back with the weapons they’re carrying.”

“Yeah, uh huh,” Scorpius said as he scratched his chin. “Or you could take the right flank and I take the south.”

“Excuse me?” El protested.

“Well, if memory serves me right, you’re little horse guys always seem to take the glory, while I’m on the sidelines,” Scorpius said in a raised voice. “It’s like you’re Seeker at a Quidditch Match. Here, us chasers do all this work scoring points all throughout the game and you do one big move by catching the Snitch and get all the glory!”

El had a confused look on his face. “What in Middle Earth are you talking about? What’s this Quidditch? Why would I be seeking this snitch? It’s not like we’re looking for a spy or anything.” El just shook his head. He had no idea what this nut of a wizard was talking about.

“Oh fine!” Scorpius gave in. “But, next time, you’re flanking and my group is taking the lead.”

El just rolled his eyes and continued with the plan.

Background:
Albus is the middle child of the famous Harry Potter and his wife Ginny (Weasley) Potter. He was named after the two Hogwarts headmasters Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. He has a loud and outgoing brother James Potter II and a sister named Lily Potter II.

Personality:
Albus is known for his shy yet thoughful personality. Unlike his brother James, who is the rude and outgoing type, he thinks things through at first, thinking about what happens afterwards, before acting. He seemed to be marked by insecurity when he first game to Hogwarts but that time has changed when he progressed further throughout the years. He learned to use his magic properly and became a rather intelligent young man. His favorite class in school was DADA. But since he had been uncertain about himself and always thought he would be aweful at the subject, he had taken extra classes making the teachers wonder why he would take them. He is an excellent dueler he just doesn't see it himself. He loves his friends and family so much that he would do anything in order to protect them. He likes getting attention from his parents , even after many years he is still the "parents child" and gets uncertain when his brother James is teasing him. However, under that uncertainty lies a person with a heart of gold.
