The year is 2009 and the rich and famous have come to Hogwarts. During the summer of 2009, celebrities around the globe discovered that they possessed magical powers. To their great surprise, they soon received Hogwarts acceptance letters. The new school year will definitely be interesting with the arrival of these muggle celebs.

Hai! I’m Mel, and I came up with this random plot on the spot (woah, that rhymed ). This will be uber fun, but sign-ups are not a complete free-for-all. There is a guide below to help ya’ll. I know there are a lot of my little rules, but they will make this RP run smoothly and add structure (I know, I sound like your mother or a teacher, but this is Malfoy Manor RPG ). And really, read the rules, ‘cos I will know and definitely be irked if you didn’t …

TO ALL WHO SIGNED UP IN THE ORIGINAL THREAD!:
I am so sorry that your posts in the original thread were deleted, but we’re not allowed to play real, living celebrities. So, in this new thread, the plot is generally the same but you are making up your own celebrity (see the slightly revised GUIDE/RULES below). To all who signed up before (hermionefanforever, Flipper, best deatheater, Herminny, TishTash, etc.), I’m sorry for the hassle. If any of you still wish to RP in here, you’ll have to make another request and another bio.

We’re starting from scratch and it’s first come-first served again, like any other RP. If you signed up in the original thread yet don’t sign up in THIS thread before all spots (10 spots total; 5 boys and 5 girls) are taken, you will not be able to RP.

GUIDE/RULES
1. You can pick a celebrity from any career. Model, singer, musician, actor/actress, author, rapper, you pick!
2. You are playing a made up celebrity! That means that you can use Selena Gomez’s picture for the appearance, but you must change her name and occupation (although the occupation change is optional).
3. You cannot use a picture of any celebrity that is already in the HP films. For example, no Bonnie Wrights’, Tom Feltons’, Emma Watsons’, etc. It will make the RP odd and confusing.
4. REMEMBER that you are playing a muggle celebrity, not a celebrity from the wizarding world. That means that when at Hogwarts, the celebs are not ambushed like they would normally be in real life because the students and staff are wizards and witches who don’t pay attention to muggle celebrities. Hope that makes sense.
5. Bios must include why your celebrity is famous. For example, my celeb’s fame comes from her being a model. Also, please give me detailed bios. You don’t need to write a novel, but simple one-liners will not work. If you have any questions about the bios, take a look at mine at hopefully that’ll help.
6. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only sign up if you will be active. I understand people have busy lives other than SS (me included), but please try to RP at least once a day.
7. I know how in some RP’s, there are 20 members role-playing and some members get left out because the other’s don’t respond to their character because they’ve gone off into their own little world. If you get left out, PM me or something and hop back on the crazy train!
8. As for relationships, let them develop! I don’t really like starting off RPs with people that are already couples, best friends, etc. Now, if you play people that are siblings, an established relationship is acceptable to begin with.
9. You don’t have to make a post saying, “Can I be male celebrity?”. Just say something, like “I’m in!”, and give me the bio straightaway so I can evaluate it. Trust me, it saves us both a little time and effort.
10. Post in the past tense! Don’t say, “Luke walks into the Great Hall and plops onto a bench at the Slytherin table. His slitted gray eyes scan the area for first-years, for prey.” It won’t work. Rather, say, “Luke walked into the Great Hall and plopped onto a bench at the Slytherin table. His slitted gray eyes scanned the area for first-years, for prey.”
11. I would like to have characters from all four houses . On the CELEBRITY LIST below, I will color code the house that a character resides in (Red: Gryffindor, Green: Slytherin, Blue: Ravenclaw, Yellow: Hufflepuff). For example, if you see a massive amount of red (which means a lot of Gryffies), please consider making your character from a less populated house.
12. Since this a Malfoy Manor RP, please post more than two or three sentences! It makes the RP more enjoyable. Also, follow the rest of the SS rules, of course.

Personality: Tristram is incredibly ambitious and it took a while for his dream of being a pop star to become true but it did. he is quite down to earth a little dowre at times yet amusing. He is thoughtful, openminded, witty, slightly pessimistic even with his ambition and a little eccentric. Of course like most pop stars he dresses slightly out of the ordinary wearing things thay would could be from the 70's. He can be scathing about some things but what he usually dislikes is on everyone else's minds as well, he's just voicing it. He was almost sorted into Ravenclaw but was put into Slytherin instead because of his determination.
Background: He shared a flat in London despite being successful and is usually to be found at a party or on an interview on tv. He constantly lost band members and gained new ones and often playing solo. He is the vocalist and occasional guitarist, when a guitar or an extra one is needed.

How he discovered his powers: As he was walking down the street he was suddenly chased by paparazzi and running and attempt to jump on to a wall he landed on top of the passing double decker bus. He was apprehended by a ministry obliviator and it was explained to him and he was given a letter from Hogwarts. All anyone knows is that Tristram fancies a bit of time off from the lime light and is in America for a break.

Despite her money and her fame, she feels alone in the world because her parents stopped seeing her a daughter to see her like a celebrity. Melrose has pretty much everything she wants. She's not one of those very nice and always smiling celebrities. She's not mean, she's just started to show off she's tired of that businmess, so going to Hogwarts is actually a relief, although she insisits on showing others she feels bothered for going there and keeps on complaining about it.

Background: Brooke started writing short stories at the age of eight and soon developed the passion to interpretate her own characters on the stage. From the there to the big screen it was very fast. She started publishing books at 13 also under her stage name: Melrose. It stayed and today she's known as Melrose. Not even her parents call her 'Brooke'. Her grandmother is the only one who still treats her like a nomral person and she appreciates that.

How She Discovered Her Magic: Melrose didn't exactly found out she had powers. After a huge fight with her parents about her carreer, Melrose escaped home and walked undercovered in the streeet of London. She thought it strange that nobody recognized her but she was relief by that fact. As she kept on walking she found a strange place and a new wolrd opened for her - Diagon Alley. Three days later she received a letter from Hogwarts. Her family thinks she's in a retreet to stressed celebrities, which was the best lie she could come up the moment she saw the letter.Her grandmother and her maid are the only person who know where she is and they help her avoid her parents, as well as her manager and her lastest boyfriend.

In character:

Jamie Rae strutted into the Great Hall, her Hufflepuff robes billowing behind her. Ever since her first day here, she considered the Hall a wonderful place to hold a fashion show. If they'd ever allow it, that is. At first, it quite unnerved her that wizards and witches were not into muggle fashion. After her first few weeks here, she came to appreciate the positives of wizard clothes. The glitter and majesty appealed to her very much.

She took a seat at the Ravenclaw table and pulled a pear onto her silver, gleaming plate. Jamie brushed her long, chocolate brown hair behind her as she took a big bite of the fruit. Just because she was "taking a break" from the modeling world didn't mean that she could take a break from her diet. She took a sip of some pumpkin juice, wiping the corners of her mouth with a linen napkin that had suddenly appeared, as she scanned the Hall for incoming students entering to get some breakfast.

The Headmaster had told her that other celebrities had come to Hogwarts, but she hadn't seen them... yet.

Stefan was cautious in entering the hall. He was a tall young man with a kind face, but he now gave off quite an uncertain energy. Most likely it was his nerves taking control over him, but he'd just have to wait and find out. He had been quite nervous for some time now.

As casually as he could, Stefan made his way to the Hufflepuff table, and adjusted his school tie as he took a seat. A professional appearance was rather important, as was a first impression. He had set a muggle briefcase down on the floor beside his right leg and took out a pencil and paper, beginning to draw several equations to pass the time. It was pretty quiet except for another couple of students.
He took his vine wand out from his robe pocket and gave it a tiny flick beside his briefcase, which sprung open and spilled a numerous amount of papers onto the floor.

With a gentle sigh, Stefan picked up the papers by hand and set them into two piles on the table in front of him. Spotting another student in the hall aside from himself, he had to smile and give a polite wave, no matter how pink his face had gotten from his little mishap.
