BOTH! But the good guys appear in the novels more, and since Ron COUGHtheloveofmylifeCOUGH is a good guy, I'd say the protagonists are favoured by me. the baddies I like? Draco, Bella, and Snape (is he bad or good, anyways???).

In just about every book, movie, etc. (not just Hp) I prefer the bad guys. Good guys are generally too wimpy and unwilling to face reality. Bad guys are cynical, Powerful and generally cool.
