Maddie wandered around the aisles, picking out robes and double-checking she hadn't missed anything on her list. She'd already picked out her robes - three pairs of school robes in her Ravenclaw colours, and two pairs of ice blue dress robes. She loved the colour of the dress robes - it was her favourite colour. She also had a black cloak - with silver fastenings, as directed on the uniform list - and a black hat, along with a Ravenclaw scarf and some soft leather gloves.

Sigh.

This was the last place that Ethan wanted to be but he knew that it was a necessity so he wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. But that didn't mean he had to like it. In fact, he hated getting fitted for new robes - that dumb measuring tape poking and prodding him, the shopkeeper always sticking him with pins. Ugh.

Still, he had to have school robes before he went off to Hogwarts and his mother told him that he had to get them today. Reluctantly, the fifteen year old walked through the aisles of Malkins in search of... well, whatever it was that he needed to get. He pulled the crumpled up list from his pocket and looked over it again. Three sets of plain work robes... his eyes travelled further down the list - shirts, sweaters, trousers... not too bad, but what's this?? One set of dress robes?! How had he missed that on his list and what in Merlin's name did he need that for? Well, at least he'd look awesome in them...

Grumbling slightly under his breath, Ethan stopped in the Hogwarts section of the store where items seemed to separated by color - or by House, he supposed, having been forced to at least skim through Hogwarts: A History at the insistence of his mother. So, just how was he supposed to know which to get when he didn't even know which House he would be sorted into? He sighed greatly, hoping for a moment he'd get into the blue or green house as those were his best colors. He picked up a Ravenclaw tie and a Slytherin tie. Now what was he supposed to do? Buy one of each? He certainly wasn't getting a generic black one.

Preston was back in Diagon Alley for day two of his shopping expedition. With his hands free, he decided that he'd hit the robe shop first before he forgot. He didn't want to forget anything for his very first year away from his father and his Auntie LoLo. Upon walking into the shop Preston stopped right inside the doorway and looked around. He looked at all the aisles of robes and other wizarding clothing that the shop had to offer. He gave a goofy smile before he started digging through his backpack to find his list of school supplies he still needed to get. Unable to find it at that moment he abandoned his back pack and put it back on his back and started looking through the racks closet to him of robes.

Melissa Jo entered Madam Malkin's with hair slighty windswept. She sighed heavily as she moved across the threshold. She'd been in the Alley all day, and she really wanted to go home. Sleep, maybe. But no, she had to get some gloves. She'd lost her pair last year, during a Herbology lesson. She needed new ones. Maybe silk? ooh, blue!

Smiling to herself, she moved closer to the display, not noticing a little boy. She moved a little to her left absentmindedly, and bumped into something.

Small, squishy,....what?

She looked down, and gasped.

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry!" She felt a blush creeping up. "I think to hard sometimes to notice anything." She looked down at the boy. "First year, then? I'm MJ Benson." She smiled warmingly.

Kita wandered through the aisles of Madame Malkin's and smiled as she realised that the inevitable had happened. She had grown. It was only by 2 inches or so but still. She was happy. She felt weird being here after so long but it still felt good to be wandering through aisles of clothing.

Taking out her list, Kita realised that she had to get loads of things today which meant loads of shopping. Perfect, she thought as she smiled and scanned the list. Frowning at the dress robes part, she looked up and walked to get her supplies.

She walked to the Hogwarts section and picked out 3 plain work robes, a winter cloak and 3 blouses. Hm... she thought, Sweater, vest or cardigan? This was something she hated about clothes shopping. Or any kind of shopping. Sometimes,you have to choose and Kita hated choosing. She stood there for a good minute and contemplated the choices. Sighing, she closed her eyes and pointed to one. When she opened her eyes, she saw that she was pointing to a sweater. Sweater it is then, she thought.

Moving along, Kita noticed an assortment of colours and hurried over. She always grew excited when she saw colour; it was a good thing that she didn't squeal like she usually does. She looked at the ties and the scarves and knew that she had to get them. After all, she loved being a huffie! Picking up 2 ties and 2 scarves (one scarf just in case), she headed over for the trousers and skirts sections.

She was confused yet again. Looking down at her list, Kita realised that she was to get the skirts. She stood there for a good minute with her hands on her hips and knew that this was something that she had to do. Afterall, girls wear skirts right? Looking down at what she was wearing she knew that the last statement didn't fit her. She may be a girl but Kita loved her jeans. Sighing, she grabbed two pairs of skirts and continued in her search for clothes. Socks, she thought as she walked to a table with accessories on them. She grabbed 3 pairs even though she had loads at home. Always room for extra "just in case". She looked down at the word stockings and bit her lip. Grabbing 3 pairs, she moved on.

Dress robes, she read. Kita stopped and stared down at the list. Dress robes?! she thought and then groaned. This is just great (!) Why do we need dress robes? she thought as she made her way to the dress robes section. Upon reaching there, she was suddenly excited at all the colours that were there. Shades of different colours up and down the long aisle. And suddenly, the girly side of Kita kicked in. She walked over to the blue section seeing as she was told that she looked best in blue. Frowning, she flicked through each of the blue dresses that were on display. Some were too dark, some too revealing and some just too low cut. She flicked through them some more and then came upon the perfect dress. Literally. She gasped at the silkiness of the fabric. Someone had always told her that in every girl, there was a princess or a girly girl and Kita's "princess" was definitely coming out when she saw this dress robe. She took it and smiled once more.

[COLOR="Red"]Adam stepped, all alone, into Madam Malkin's, he had asked his parents to go alone. He read over his school supplies list.
1. Black pair of dress robes
2. White dress shirt
3. Pointed Black Hat
4. A red and Gold tie
5. Black slacks with matching socks ( 4-5 socks )
He looked around and browsed the robes. Adam randomly picked one way too large , he wondered if he would be ABLE to find the shopkeeper and ask if she could trim it up and fix it to fit him, later when he found her[

Despite Alice's efforts to be more careful now that she had her first and brand new wand she managed to trip on the doorway into the shop. She hoped that nobody had noticed her trip, and quickly hurried off to the section designated with Hogwarts robes. Her mother had left it up to her as to how many she wanted, but she figured she really only needed two, one as a back-up incase the other got torn or something. Normally she didn't wear much red, but she liked the look of the Gryffindor robes.

Ugh. Uniform. Usually, Eliza didn't mind clothes shopping. But uniform was the exception to that. It was usually all gross and boring. Although the Hogwarts robes didn't look too bad... and it was a good thing she looked good in green.

She wandered through the aisles, picking up everything she needed... a sweater, two ties, two blouses, two skirts, stockings, and *shudder* a cardigan. Not that she'd EVER wear that. EVER. She grabbed two sets of Slytherin robes and a black cloak, and a Slytherin scarf and gloves. She also picked up a stupid pointy hat... another thing she'd never wear.

After picking all the necessary stuff, Eliza walked over to the dress robes. She was looking for something silver. Sliver and shimmery and PRETTY. Browsing through the many robes, she stopped and pulled one off the rack. It was perfect. The material was silky, a light silver that she knew would look absolutely great on her. As she walked over to the counter to be measured, she saw another set of dress robes in Slytherin green and picked those up, too.

There was sure going to be a lot of measuring.

Alex browsed through all the girls' Gryffindor robes. Being a muggleborn, she thought these clothes were very strange. The uniforms did look cute, though. Red and gold were her two of her favorite colors. She picked up the necessary ties, scarves, skirts, blouses, cardigans, sweaters, vests, and knee socks. And the weird pointed hats. Alex D. Jacobs in a weird pointed hat. SO not happening. And with that, she walked toward the counter to get measured.

Preston was starting to get bored with the rack of robes he was looking at. Probably because they were women's robes, but he was bored nonetheless. He moved his right just a little to start looking at the men's, though they were still too large for him.

Next thing Preston knew he was on the floor looking at a pair of feet not too far away. "I-I-I-I'm s-s-s-sorry." He told the feet, not quite ready to get up and face whoever it was he had bumped into. Finally, after taking a deep breath he pulled himself up from the floor. He looked at his shoes, they were still tied, a good sign.

Looking up a little at the girl Preston gave her a small goofy smile. "N-nice-nice t-t-to m-m-mee-meet y-y-y-you M-M-M-J." Preston said holding his hand out to her to shake it. "I-I-I'm P-P-P-Pre-Preston T-T-T-Tur-Turner." He said with a goofy smile.

MJ shot another winning smile at the poor boy . Preston, was it? Poor thing was stuttering horribly. Had she done that? Oh dear.

"Are you excited about coming to Hogwarts, then?" she asked conversationally. She knew the answer most people gave. Yes, yes, how lovely, yes I am thanks. But here she was trying to be normal. Or as normal as you could possibly expect her to be. And.. he was looking at- MJ blinked. Women's robes. Oh no, that wouldn't do. She gently steered the boy so he was facing the opposite side. "There are the men's robes, Preston."

"Y-y-yes. V-v-v-very!" He exclaimed with his goofy smile becoming larger by the second. He was very excited for Hogwarts, he wanted to go right now if he could. Well, after he got the rest of his supplies of course. Preston followed MJ as she steered him towards the men's. He bit his lip. Well, at least now he was in the right spot. "I-I-I w-w-wish I-I c-c-could r-re-remember wh-where I-I-I-I p-p-put m-m-my list a-at." He told MJ as he took his back pack off again and starting digging through it in search of the list of things he needed. He didn't want to get the wrong robes for school after all.

Sergio stepped into Madame Malkin's store looking for his first year robes. The place looked the same as it did a year ago when he accompanied his brother when he was buying his uniforms. Sergio went to the rack of clothes and grabbed some black dress robes, Slytherin colored ties and other essentials. He liked his clothes fitted to his body so he went over to get measured.

Lilyana walked around Diagon Alley looking in each shop to assure she didn't miss anything on her list. She walked slowly to Madam Malkins, opened the door and stopped. There were robes of every size shape and color! She looked down at her list and went to grab all her necessary robes, blouses, ties, scarves, skirts, cardigans, sweaters, and socks, all with the lining of gold and scarlet, her house colors.I hope these can be resized to fit me properly. Father said they would, but how I wish mother wasn't a muggle she would shop with me. Lilyana sighed, and decided to walk around and look for a nice dress, just in case she was in need of one.

Lacey entered Madam Malkins and was amazed at the robes in the shop. There were so many robes that you can barely count them.
Lacey quickened her pace as she saw black robes. She needed these. She took 3 of those and headed off to another corner, trying to find blouses and skirts with linings of her house colours. She found them and took them too, everything in her arms and hands.
She remembered that she needed several more things too, like ties, socks, sweaters...
Argh, She thought, There's so many stuff I need, how am I going to carry all of them by myself with just my hands?
She sighed.

Lilith had just strolled into the shop it was full of robes. she picked up a few but they didnt seem intresting she was tired and really didnt want to be here. even though she was usually very happy, todathad ust seem to drain her out books wands, etc everything. she grabed a few robes and headed to get a tie and scarf

Here let me help. Im Lilith, whats your name?

Andy entered the the shop and was stunned by all the robes and cloths. She spotted the black robes and quickly walked to them. She grabbed three of them and headed to the dress robes. She saw a girl across her that was holding a lovely sea blue dress. Maybe she could find one like that in green. She browsed the racks of dress robes and spotted a beautiful green dress. Now she needed her socks ties sweaters... Wow i need a lot more stuff. She walked over to the socks and found a pair of emerald green ones. Now she just needed her sweaters and ties. The ties where next to the sweaters so that would be easy to get. She grabbed her house ties and sweaters and went to pay.

Pam walked into Madam Malkins and thought excitedly, "Another new term, and new things to get. It's like a treasure hunt!" She looked at her supply list and thought carefully of what she needed and what she already had. "Hmm I have to get, three white blouses,two grey sweaters,two charmable ties in house colours,one charmable winter scarf in house colours,two pairs of skirts, and three pairs of white knee socks." She thought, before folding the supply list and putting it back into the pocket of her coat. She went around the aisles and because they were so well organized, she found the items she had needed rather quickly. After getting the items she needed, she looked around to see if there was anything else she wanted to get.

"Oh thank you!" Lacey smiled, "I'm Lacey. Nice to meet you!"

I know how you feel i just took a spill in book store with all my books.

Preston seemed excited. That was good, as Hogwarts was amazing. It was MJ's home away from home. She crouched down next to him. "Would you like some help looking for it?" she asked. She hoped he wouldn't lose his homework during term, most teachers were a bit strict about that. She smiled. It seemed she had a firstie to mentor this term. Yay for helping!

Amy skipped into the store feeling joyful she strode over to the small robes and found one that was just her size she took of the rack and skipped to the fitting roomsto try it on

Sophia walked amongst the robes, and found 3 in her size. Perfect, just what she needed. She needed a pointed hat. She walked around and found one, she grabbed it and added it to her pile. What else? A winter cloak. She grabbed it, and boy was this thing warm. She couldn't wait to wear this! She grabbed 3 white blouses for Hogwarts. She kept on walking when she found her ties. Her legs wobbled with joy when she saw the Gryffindor tie and and scarf. She grabbed three ties and one scarf. They were awesome! Here were her skirts. Oh boy, we have to wear skirts. She grabbed 3 vests and skirts. She also grabbed her stockings and went to the counter!

Preston nodded his head. "S-s-sure." He told her setting the bag down on the floor. Preston plopped down on the floor beside the bag, crossed his legs and began to take a few things out in search for the school list. "Th-th-that's m-m-m-my food f-f-f-f-for m-m-m-my ra-raccoon, R-R-R-Ring-Ringo." Preston told MJ as he pulled out the container of raccoon feed and placed it beside his foot. Next, Preston pulled out a large plastic bag of Fudge Flies. He was tempted to get into his stash and eat one, but he needed to find that list, NOW. "W-w-w-what d-d-d-does M-M-M-MJ stand f-f-for?" He asked MJ randomly as they went through his bag. Surely that wasn't her first name.
