Oh, hai there! Are you wondering what this pretty container is all about? –shakes it and rattles things around- This is The Sewing Kit, your official SS graphics resource centre. This nifty little kit contains the resources you need to make your graphics look pretty.

What is it that you need to add that final touch to your masterpiece? A texture? Or, how about a brush? This place has it all, made for the SS community, and made by SS members, for SS members.

Rules;

What is to be posted in here?
- Textures
- Brushes
- Gradients
- Screencaps of movies (YOUR own, not someone else's.)
- Screenshots of video games (YOUR own, not someone else's.)

What is NOT to be posted in here?
- Graphic requestions.
- Posts asking how somebody made a particular texture.
- No commenting on textures made. If you feel the need to, PM the creator of the graphics and gush all the mushy stuff to them that way.
- No chatting. Much like commenting, only the stuff you chat about is of no relevance and shall not be tolerated. I’ve got Ama power and I’m not afraid to use it.
- No advertising your own graphics thread.
- No tutorials. Wrong thread, homefries.

For Resource-Makers:
- Please title your textures, if possible.
- For large sized textures (those over 450 wide and 200 high), please place image under a photocut tag.
- For BRUSH-makers – if you are posting brushes that are NOT in an imagepack, please state the graphics program that you use.
- If you use images to make your textures, please state the sites from which you found them.
- If you use OTHER textures in order to add onto your texture, make sure that you credit the creator.

For those using the resources:
- Credit. You must credit. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Like I said, I got Ama power. Fear me. Her. US.
- No commenting on sets here. PM the creators to tell them your love for them.

Brushes [Imagepack] : 25 Dotted Lines

They are transparencies so the way you'll use them is by simply opening the one of your choice and pasting it over the image, rotating, etc to your liking. It is in a zipped RAR file and uploaded to Mediafire. I'll edit in a mirror link to sendspace and/or megaupload soon. If anyone wants them to be uploaded into a public folder on PB, just PM me.

[04] Large scratch/grunge textures

Four textures made in Photoshop CS4. For best effects, use them on a dark-ish background and set to "screen." They won't show up on lighter images. Use the eraser to erase parts if they get in the way (I usually erase parts over people's faces.)

Note: They're set on a white background so you can either A: Use them as a multiply screen or B: Consider them a brush imagepack and well, turn each image/texture into a brush. You can also just use them as a background layer.

Kaleidoscopes
One of the most interesting features of PSP (at least to me!) is my ability to make kaleidoscopes with graphic images. These make very nice backgrounds or layers. Aren't they pretty?

[1] Large Tye Dye-ish Texture

I've just started working around with textures again, and I finally made something that I think might be of use for others

As for what setting you should put this on...I'm not quite sure. Soft light looks really pretty on siggies but it's kind of all up to what you feel like using it for
