Due to popular request, I've decide to start a help thread for avatar makers so we can discuss issues that arise.
Rules:
1) To post in this thread, you must have your own thread in Madam Malkin's.
2) You can bring up topics like stealing work, stealing bandwith, people that request the same thing in multiple threads, etc.
3) Try to help each other out with problems so we won't have to bother the mods about everything.
I was thinking that we could also exchange ideas and sites, as well. It's interesting to know how other people work, and I have no problem with giving tips.

For Chriss' banner, I have a really crazy idea..How about we come up with original logos and scatter them everywhere with a big 'We'll miss you, Chriss!!!11' in the middle?
OH OH OH idea #2: the H. Express scene at the end of SS/PS when Hagrid's waving goodbye to Harry (screencaps, lol).

I have a couple of questions (being, need I remind you, very new at avvy-making,lol):
1) What is the color code for the background on SS?
2) How do I make my avvies smaller, meaning fewer Kb?
Oh, and thank you to isawfred1st and HermyOneGranger for helping me before
Edit: I figured out the second one; I just saved them as smaller files. Oh well good basic, newbie-ish questions, I guess lol.

The background for the actual post is: #E3E6DD (I usually just do a "print screen" and then eye dropper the color). and the color for the part where the avatar is and join date and whatnot is: #C6D0B9 | |

^I think Rovie lives in Australia, as well.
And yes, I hoped that we would all contribute in one way or another to the goodbye banner. Just tell everyone that you'll be adding something, quote the person before you, then add your modifications. Just one thing, though: don't resize until the end. Here's what I did...
