Dear Journal,
I have been out again as the wolf. I am thankful that I have friends here at Hogwarts that have taken on the responsiblity of keeping me in line. The other day something happened and I wish only that I could take it back. Severus seen what I truly am. Sirius thought that it would be funny to send him in after me and if not for James getting to Severus before I could disaster would have insued. I know that Sirius was only playing his usual pranks but this time someone could have truly been hurt. Sirius and James are my best friends and I would not trade them for a hundred friends but sometimes they pull stuff like this that really upset me. I have spoken to Sirius and have told him if he ever pulls another stunt like that then I will have Dumbledore lock me up somewhere else and reveal everything about them being Animagus's. I would never actually do that but the threat seemed to have worked and I definitely do not want a repeat. In my wolf I have no control sometimes it is like Remus Lupin doesn't exist it is only the beast. In that form I could change someone's life forever. I will have to be more careful from now on I think that Sirius made an enemy in Snape and he will not stop until he has his revenge

Dear journal,
Last night was a pain, although I hardly remember what happened.
But I'm thankful to wake up in one piece and most importantly without a trace of blood in my hands.
From where I am sitting, near the fireplace in the common room, James is talking non-stop (again) about his latest achievement mastering somesort of complex move in Quidditch, a little to loud I think, to the only person who' s willing to listen, Peter.
i think he's trying to impress the Evans girl who's sitting nearby. And Sirius has this expression on his face like he is concentrating on his Astronomy homework, when I know better he's planning his next scheme of pulling a prank on Snape after he outwit Sirius in the last Potion lesson.
Poor Snape, I felt sorry for him sometimes, but he's not really a likable chap isn't he?
Gosh, my dear friends could act like a bunch of eight-year olds sometimes.
I'm glad the full moon is over.
For now anyway.
I don't want to think about next month.
I just want to think for the time being how lucky I am even to be alive, and surrounded by those who are loyal to me.
Well, gotta finish my Astronomy chart, Sirius would want to copy it sooner or later. | |

I do not understand my friends they are always excited about the full moon and can't wait to change into there animal forms. It must not hurt them as much as becoming the werewolf. The pain I assure is acute. It feels like every bone in your body is broken at once then reconstructed badly. The pain does not go away immediately after the change either. I have noticed that James and Sirius are often ready to run amuck right after they change. It always takes me a few moments to adjust. Now that the full moon is over I have to think on Severus and what difference it will make now that he knows that I am a werewolf. Most people do not want to be around a werewolf on a good day when he is human. Once the word gets out here the people that have become my friends will be scared of me. I have decided to confide in Lily Evans I think that she should know and that it should come from me. So I will close this now so that I can go to the library and find her. Maybe she will take a walk with me out on the grounds. I do not want her to scream at me in the most quite room in the school.

Dear Diary Journal,
Mum gave me this ... journal this Christmas. She said that it would be good for me to just ... jolt down my feelings, concerns, or the other. I don't know what her problem is! It's not like I'm ... you know ... different. Okay! Okay! I guess I am different. It's all because of that idiot that bit me, which apparently made me a werewolf.
Anywho, Hogwarts it great. It's only my first year here, as a Gryffindor. James, Sirius, and Peter are my best friends in the entire wizarding world. James and Sirius are the pranksters (They love to torture Snape) and Peter is just ... just the weird one out of the bunch. Well, if you don't count me. The werewolf!
I haven't told them my little ... secret. They'd desert me! I'm sure of it. But, I suppose they have a bit of a clue about my ... problem. Seeming, they probably notice that I've been gone one night every month. I'm sure that they'll find out some day.
Well, I think that I've said enough, for now. I'd really hate myself if someone reads this, besides me. But, then I can just blame it all on mum. Nah, she'll just say that I'm the one to blame, if I just ... left it out in the open. WHICH I MUST NEVER DO!

I told her. It was so hard but she walked with me in the grounds and she didn't scream.
She just nodded and asked me how it felt, and I told her the truth.
I'm a little scared now. I hope she wont tell anyone...no she wont, that I'm sure about. Or will she?
Oh I hope she won't! It might be too much for her but I do trust her...oh what have I done?
I hope this isn't going to spread before I can expect it. Maybe I should ask her if she's told anyone?

Dear Journal,
Me again. James, Sirius, and Peter have probably started to wonder where I go whenever there is a full moon. James has asked me already just yesterday where I was in the middle of the night. I just said that Professor Dippet needed me for something. But, I could tell that he didn't buy it.
Sirius and James somehow had managed to pull a prank on Snivellus ... I mean Snape right under a Professor's nose. It'd be amazing at what they could accomplish if they used their talents for something useful! (I'd expected their attitude ... to be like a serious student instead of a three year-old toddler. But, that'll probably never happen.)
Lily knows about my problem. I told her because I trusted in her. I don't know why I didn't tell James, Sirius, or Peter first though. Probably because I thought that they'd not take is seriously and joke about it. I'll tll them ... someday.
Well, I have to go. I can hear Sirius yelling in the Common Room.

You know what I wrote about trusting Sirius, James, and Peter? Well, forget it. I was wrong!!! As soon as I get out of the portrait hole I find Sirius and Peter laughing their heads off! They. Set. Me. Up!!! When I finally managed to push past them, and get back into the common room, who do I find reading this journal? None other than James-idiot-Potter himself. Even now they're trying to read what I'm writing over my shoulder! Argh.
I'm getting tired now, so I'll write some more another day -- assuming I haven't murdered Sirius, James and Peter by then. I'm going to put so many charms on this journal, if anyone other than me, even via the illegal use of Polyjuice Potion (I wouldn't put it past them), tries to read this, then----Well, let's just say the result is not pleasant.

Tonight James, Sirius, Peter, and I plan to make a map of Hogwarts. This should be fun! We are going to make it extremely hard to open! and NO one can open it with out the secret words! I can't say the words incase of my diary falling into the wrong hands! Tonight should go well, James and Sirius Memorized all of the secret passages around the castle. I am hoping little Snapey from Slitherin doesn't hear us in the halls! James knows some good spells that will make him never tell anyone about tonight.. Oh NO! I just remembered tonight is a full moon! I have to go to the Shrieking shack tonight! I will have to tell them to change the date of our Hogwarts Map making. I have to go talk to James so BYe for Now,

Today I got married. I didn't want to, oh, god I didn't want to, but she was so beautifull, so innocent, so modest. But I know I am a danger. She says she dosen't care, but I know she does. When the full moon comes, I can hear her sobbing in the next room, knowing that I am a danger to my own wife is a very hard thing to live with, but it is true. Perhaps I will find some way to fix this, perhaps i am looking for awnsers to questions I have not yet asked. Perhaps this is all just some terrible nightmare. | |

It's too late, there is no way I could possibly spare my beautiful wife from any of this now. She told me today that she is expecting our baby and I know that I have to stay with her, there is no means of escape, as difficult as that is going to be. I have to find a way to shield her and our child from the horror that I become each month. Yet, I am thrilled at the prospect of becoming a father and setting a good example for my child.
