"We will do it" Sirius said as he pulled Lupin to his feet "if you will excuse us we need to chat, I know what you are thinking,Dumbledore said that we shouldn't interact with them not that we couldn't."

"Well Dumbledore, Sirius asked, when can we leave?"

"When we arrive will we appear this age or will we be our younger selves," he asked Dumbledore.

"This time tuner will take you back a year with each turn, how about you go back to your sixth year at Hogwart's?" Dumbledore asked.

Lupin pulled out his wand, pointed it at Sirius, and shouted, "Accio Sirius!"

Sirius was runnig very fast, next thing he knew he was zooming back to where Remus was.

"Remus, you're such an idiot!" Sirius hissed, going red in the face.

"we can't be seen," hissed Remus pulling Sirius down beside him

"I don't care," Sirius said, impatiently.


'What are we going to do?'continued Sirius

"Just wait," Remus said, cross with Sirius.

Sirius folded his arms and said gimly, "for how long?"

"Until I say its time to go," Remus replied

Sirius grunted and folded his arms while peering through the foliage carefully.

YTRemus sat in the kitchen at Grimmauld Place with Molly and Sirius waiting for the meeting to begin.

He knew he should say something to break the horrible silence in the room.

So what do you think Albus was so excited about that he had to call this emergency meeting tonight, Lupin asked Molly and Sirius.

Sirius shrugged and said in a joking tone, "Maybe he found something wonderful out, like he was staying on the chocolate frogs cards."

Lupin laughed at Sirius's comment about the cards, but Dumbledore had menetioned something about a time turner and that worried Remus.

Timeturners weren't for playing with, Remus thought, and Dumbledore knew that.

The silence felt thick then they heard the door open and someone walking down the stairs to where they were.

Arthur Weasley stepped down the stairs and greeted everyone.

Everyone greeted back to him and again went on to be silent when Arthur asked "what's the matter?".

"Dumbledore told us to wait here, no idea what for though," Explained Sirius.

The door opened again and the room fell silent.

Dumbledore stepped down the stairs looking sollom, but Remus could see the twinkle in his eyes and knew he was trying to scare everyone, Remus let out a little smile.

"Hello Albus," said Molly as Dumbledore sat down," would you like anything?"

"A cup of tea would be lovely" he said as he sat down at the table noting the anxious looks on the faces of the people around him and he smiled inwardly.

"So, what is it that you called this meeting for?" Remus asked Dumbledore.

"I need something retreived from my office but here is my problem I lost it and the last time that I saw it in my office you were in school" he said looking at Sirius and Remus.

Both Sirius and Remus exchanged a surprising look and asked Dumbledore, "What are you talking about?"

"There is a box that contains a powder that I have only ever been able to locate once it is to be used in a potion that will reveal the location of Voldemort even though he is protected by magic how would you two like to go back and get it?"

Sirius looked all excited, "You mean I get to get out of this ruddy place for a bit?"

Dumbledore smiled at Sirius "there is that, but I must warn you when you go back that you shouldn't interact with your younger selves, and prepair yourselves for the possibility that you may see James and Lily there."

Remus gave Sirius a somber look...wishing that he would be able to interact with James and Lily

"We will do it" Sirius said as he pulled Lupin to his feet "if you will excuse us we need to chat, I know what you are thinking,Dumbledore said that we shouldn't interact with them not that we couldn't."

"thats true Sirius" Lupin said feeling a little better

"Well Dumbledore, Sirius asked, when can we leave?"

Dumbledore smiled and said "Right now if you wish."

"When we arrive will we appear this age or will we be our younger selves," he asked Dumbledore.

"You shall be the ages that you currently stand at," Dumbledore replied.

Sirius turned to Lupin with a smirk and whispered..."does that mean we will look and be this age or we will be this age but look younger"

They both burst out laughing at that and Dumbledore realizing what he said handed over the time turner to them both with a wink.

"How many turns albus?" questioned Remus, as Sirius placed the chain around both their necks.

"This time tuner will take you back a year with each turn, how about you go back to your sixth year at Hogwart's?" Dumbledore asked.

"So that will be 17 times," stated Lupin, taking out his wand to do it magically.

The world began to spin quickly as they turned the clock back to there childhood days.

Upon arrival, both were a little woozy on their feet for a moment. Sirius laughed and said, "What a way to travel!"


Sirius's Laugh came to a harsh stop, and Remus's smile was wiped, when they saw the eery scene before them.


There before them stood a young Severus Snape and ahead of him was there youngerselves headed straight towards where they were standing.

"Quick Sirius", said Remus, behind these bushes so we're not seen!"

Lupin grabbed Sirius by the shirt and pulled him with him into hidding, there they stood as the events unfolded.

Remus watched anxiously from the bushes, but Sirius got impatient, and jumped out.

"Sirius, get back here," Remus hissed, but it was to late.

Sirius was in a full sprint -running towards Snape, unaware that the younger Sirius and Remus were heading in his exact direction.

The young Snape was heading for castle, but before he could he ran into the younger Remus and Sirius.

"Well,well. If it isn't Snivelus,"said the younger Sirius with a smirk.

The younger Snape turned and growled, "Black."

The younger Sirius grinned, pulled out his wand, and said, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

Young Snape hovered a few feet above the ground, while young Remus tried to stop young Sirius.

"Let me down you ... you," Snape said, unable to think of a really nasty name to call Sirius.

'Sirius!" Remus shouted 'Put him down!'

"Well," said the older Remus, "You know why Snape hates you Sirius."

Older Sirius grinned, as he watched his younger self drop Nnape onto the ground like a sack of potatoes.

The young Snape dragged himself upwards, angrier than Sirius had ever seen him.

But Sirius just pushed past him, with Remus following & the two continued down the corridor.

Remus sighed. "You couldn't have given him a chance could you Sirius?"

"Chance," said Sirius, "Snape?!?!"

Older Remus & Sirius watch their younger selves walked down the corridor & vanish.

Sirius started forwards but Remus put a hand on his shoulder, "There's still Serverus," he said to him.

Sirius growled angrily but Remus just looked at him and shook his head.

The young Snape sat down under a tree and seemed to relax a little bit.

He put his head against the tree & closed his eyes & seemed to have fallen asleep.

Sirius's eyes glinted like a star while he saw Snape.

He started fowards towards Snape but Remus pulled him back.

"No! not yet!" Remus said to him.

Sirius sat down angrily & glared at Remus.

Remus looked at his friend sadly, he was behaving rather like a todler that didn't get what he wanted.

They looked back at Snape & they were surprised to see that he had fallen asleep.

The younger Sirius chuckled as the younger Lupin gave him an unpleasent look.

'How do we get into the castle?' asked Sirius

"Lets use the secret passage way from the whomping willow." Remus said and pushed Sirius in that direction, away from Snape.

"Good idea,"said Sirius as Remus pushed him in the direction of the tree.

The two of them carefully walked towards the whomping williow making sure that no one saw them.

It had been a long time since they had gone through the passage but they still remembered it.

Even the damp smell was a faint memory that they had treasured for years, though of course they never told anyone.

They walked & walked for what seemed like hours.

They listened hard... Students were passing right at the entrance where they were supposed to sneak out

Sirius & Remus stood still as though pertified.
