Anything that could possibly make a relationship more difficult and therefore more challenging is what I seem to find attractive, so in this story...Remus is Hot! Remus Lupin...there's just something about him that has me intrigued. I can't say what it is, but there is soft spot for him within.
His personality (minus the werewolf bit, though that does add to it) is one you don't find very often, unfortunately. He is an individual that takes pride in himself, yet he doesn't have a single selfish bone in his body.
I guess that's part of what intrigues me ... LOL.
On that note, I figure I should introduce myself.
Most people I know either call me Shan or Shan-Shan. I don't have a preference which you use ... I answer to both!
I am 19, Australian, and currently living in freezing England. For the next two years anyway. *grins*
I love chocolate, Bowen mangoes, and curling up in a comfy spot with a blanket and my HP books when the weather is dreary.

*in a squeaky voice,looking nervous*Hi,I'm Monorina(Mono is what I like to be called,Rina if you need a punch,and Monohybrid or Monoratio or other such derivatives if you have a death wish).I absolutely love Remus Lupin.*shaking of voice stops*He is the ultimate Good Guy.He's had a lot of hardships in life,but he's always so nice to everyone(and he doesn't even say bad things about his mortal enemy Snape)Although he is rather nice,he's not meek(although he appears to be so,specially in Snape's memory when he doesn't stop James and Sirius).He's perfectly level-headed and reasonable and he's not carried away by emotion like the other marauders,but he's very ,very brave.*voice becomes perfectly steady,and firmer as I talk about Moony*He's also an absolutely trustworthy friend,and a good teacher who can make the students believe in themselves and does not intimidate them,therefore making them accomplish more than they could otherwise have done(case in point:Neville with the Boggart) and he's a very approachable teacher.I love the way in which he always gives Harry good advice....
Okay,I might as well stop here,or else I'll be ending up writing ten pages on how much I love and admire our Moony!I loved the way in which he realizes that Sirius was good,and doesn't mind the fact that Sirius suspected him of being a traitor.After the death of James and Sirius,people always pitied Harry,but at least Harry had Ron and Hermione and Ginny.Remus was truly alone after he lost his best friends(he did not have any other family) but he never complained.That just made me like him more.Then,Dumbledore was the only other person who had always trusted him,never shunned him because he was a werewolf,and when DD died and Lupin broke down,I felt so sorry for him(i wanted to give him a hug and pat him on the shoulder).I loved the Tonks part,though.I hope things work out between them,and I know they'll make a wonderful couple(he so enigmatic,she soo cheerful ).She'll make him laugh tons and tons of times with her funny noses and stuff,and he'll keep her happy. Remus + Tonks = Perfect Bliss 4eva! Our Remus ROcks!!!

I love Remus Lupin. I have since his appearance in PoA. Although I predicted his all-too-early death in Deathly Hallows, I was still heartbroken. He was a good man, and I think he's one of the best characters JKR ever wrote!
